I also LOVE the fact that you get blankets to use - makes final Savasana position so comfy and relaxed. Irene is a great instructor with a soothing voice. Parking in the neighborhoods is super easy even on street cleaning days (Wednesday/Thursday) and you have plenty of space to move around in the studio. Recently, it finally came true. When you finally get your sights on it, it's more unreal. The lake is about 15 by 35 miles at its widest and longest. So, it's HUGE, and there's a hell of a lot of water. Sure, it's getting smaller, but still. If you go, you should decide to go on the West or East side...because it's very far to go all around. My mom and I went east, but I think there's more to see on the west side (which has Salton City, Desert Shores, Salton Sea Beach). What we did see was a few "campgrounds", former structures, and the highlight -- Bombay Beach, an little town with some artistic endeavors, but mostly low income and off-grid living. It's just not healthy to live nearby this. It has a little market and an old motel, the Ski Inn, that is now a coffee shop and dive bar. It wasn't very smelly on a 75 degree day, but I'm sure it is in the heat of summer. It's both marvelous and a engineering disaster. I asked Siri a million things while driving, but I'm left with more questions than answers.

We've been lucky enough to get massages across the world at the most exclusive spas and resorts, and my husband and I get massages every week when we are home. For years, I'd heard about energy work and cranial sacral massages, and I knew that if there was anywhere in the world where I should receive my first one, it would be down in the desert. Fate brought me to Lynne Kasal, and my life has been irrevocably changed ever since. She feels your energy, finds your blockages, moves and removes negative energy, all with a gentle touch. I have flown her in for weekends, and my friends jump over each other to receive a massage. She is so revered up here in the Bay Area, that if I tell one person, words spreads and I get about a dozen calls asking if they can find a time slot. She has fixed torn muscles, swollen ankles, bad shoulders - both my children needed operations down at Stanford for a rare bone disorder in their ankles, and Lynne helped to fix both of them by helping to move their energy and realign their fascia and ligaments. My daughter just got scouted today for an All-County Basketball league for the top 10 players! And she couldn't walk well before. My husband holds his stress internally from managing such a high stress job with travel and 18 hr days, and Lynne has found a way to help remove his "angst". My husband and I are here in Palm Desert for a couple of months this winter playing golf and enjoying the winter sunshine. I arrived with a sinus infection. I live here in the desert . I am a Holistic Health Practioner. Because of abundance of work, I had extreme pain in right arm hand and thumb joint. I went to Lynne for a hour treatment for this.
