This place is truly awful. I was there every day for at least an hour over four weeks visiting my…read moremom. It commonly takes about 40 minutes to get anyone's attention. They will leave your loved one's bowel movements in their mobile commode all day. To get a nurse to administer meds is an act of God, but if you bring in over-the-counter medication for your loved one, the CNAs will take it out of their private storage while you're not around and never mention it. One CNA stole the heating pad I purchased for my mom to help with her pain. When I asked her where it was, she said it was a fire hazard and she had placed it in her personal vehicle. My mom got scabies while she was there. Though several CNAs saw it and provided her with hydrocortisone for it, no one identified that it was scabies, treated it, or washed her sheets. I was heartbroken watching the staff completely ignore and verbally abuse my mom's roommate, who was extremely ill and confused about why she was there. It took almost three weeks and six calls to get a call back from the social worker to discuss my mom's treatment plan and progress. By the time I got a call back, I was furious and wanted her out of there, which they initially refused to facilitate. They forgot my mom's medical appointments in spite of numerous reminders. When they finally acknowledged it, they didn't dress her and wouldn't transport her. The receptionists are on another planet and are absolutely no help. They don't even know who is coming or going. High points: There were a select few staff members who brought my mom joy and treated her with dignity, including a very sweet and charismatic male CNA, the kind-hearted man who does transportation, and the physical therapists, who were fantastic and the only staff members who actually communicated with me about her treatment plan, needs and progress. It's been six months and I still feel sick to my stomach anytime I'm nearby. Please do not send your loved one here, especially if they don't have the ability to advocate for their own needs.

The people that work there are all very kind. Can't say enough good things about them! PT is great!…read moreSo much better than PT in SF!

This is the place to go if you want to feel like cattle. At the end of the day "they're just…read morejunkies" is the Chico Aegis. Hardly anyone is even properly licensed because there's loop hole that allows them to work as long as they are on the list to get their licenses in the next 5 years. Not to mention this site alone is a million dollar plus a year clinic and they they do the absolute bare minimum and people complain but it never leaves Chico so nothing ever changes. At the end of the the day they are FOR PROFIT they are required by buisness law to hold their shareholders as top priorty And in addiction recovery the patient needs to be treated like a person not just a number so they can take our 300 bucks a month and give horrible service. You wanna complain? Sure and then they throw "go sit down or youre not gonna dose so they literally dangle that in front of you cuz if they don't wanna hear it they just tell you to leave and you don't dose so you can't even stand up for yourself. Every single weekwnd there's an issue it's so bad they had to shut down on Sunday and now it just moved the problem to Saturdays when no admins or anyone are there and it's funny it never happens in the week when the full staff there from getting locked out of the safe and not being able to dose till 1pm when they close at 9am and open at 6 so people get there at 5:30. Yesterday the doser didn't even show up until it was basically normal closing time which they obviously had to stay. The had a doser tell them he couldn't work full time but he would be a sub so if something happened he could come Dose and knowing that we are short they denied him and had they not we wouldn't have sat at the clinic from 530 to 930 am waiting because if We left we lost our spot and there was supposedly no doctors or nurse to sign the paper so we literally had no choice to go to another aegis because the Front desk lady can't sign for courtesy doses so we were literally forced to either break sobriety people are pulling on themselves going outside getting sick I almost broke 3 years clean and not having a single thought about it but after already feeling like they didn't care yesterday just proved it. We had to sit down and shut up or leave and go buy drugs or be sick for two days because they Are open on Sunday. Enloe use to dose people if they weren't able too but all the lazy people on the weekends instead of being there early would go to the hosptial and they would be overwhelmed just with methadone ppl not even the real stuff so now enloe quit doing dosing so we can't even go to the hospital. They also scheduled two nurses one at 6am and one a 7:30. BOTH nurses were on ther last day. The fact they had zero back up ready when 80 percent of ppl don't go in the past day and deal with all the bye and that so it's super common no one shows up on the 14th day and they had two people that Saturday was the last day of their two weeks and what happened? The 6am didn't even show up. We had no nurse or doctor to sign a courtesy doses and if left we lost our place in the queue even when it was 6:15 and wasn't gonna have a doser till 7:30 so we had no choice but to sit there for 4 damn hours we didn't even start dosing until it was 9:15 the hours are 6-9:30 so they didn't even get a doser until 15 miniutes before the advertised closing time. Yet they cut ppl off from dosing if they are 2o min late but we are FORCED (forced as in we had no option to go anywhere because there was no one to sign the transfer so we couldn't go to marysville Or redidn't because the 1 frontdesk lady who did a PHENOMENAL job and needs a raise didn't even have anyone to sign the paper work so we were forced to sit there because if we left we lost our spot and there's 500 plus ppl at this clinic it's 1hr 20 min one way so it's almost 3 hours round trip so I can't just go home and come back. It's stupid this is the only clinic and they run it like they know it cuz if you don't wanna jump through the hoops or do what they say guess what go somewhere else then. That's the stance they have so that's how I know they just look at like and I've heard one of the ladies even say when someone complained about being sick after waiting 3 hours "well that's why you shouldn't have got on drugs" you think that's what someone who is trying we are just hours past med times and feeling like shit and to get that as a response? Like I said they are for profit that shouldn't be legal it should be county. It costs a single person 300 dollars a month. They have almost 600 people so that's 300 dollars X 500 ppl just to lower it even: ***Formula:*** $300 a person x 100 ppl = 30 grand a month. $30,000 (for 100 ppl we have right under 600 so we will use 500 patients for this so they make more then my answer because they Make 30 grand per 100 ppl a month) So now we tale that 30 GRAND they make for 100 ppl and multiply that by 5 (500ppl) 30,000 X 5 = $150,000 a MONTH with 600 it's $180,000/month.

This one is ok if you need help they'll start you out with 35 mg of methadone the first day and you…read moreget to go up 10 mg a day after that till you get to your therapeutic levels I recommend going to Marysville they're way better

I received a call from Enloe ER stating he was in the ER and wanted me to know and they mentioned how serious it was. He was admitted with a LOTS of issues: dehyrated, hypotensive, enterocolitis, right lung pneumonia, positive finding for EPEC (interesting because prior I had called Chico Terrace because Larry had complained to me about having severe diarrhea and when I inquired with Chico Terrace I was informed he ONLY had a light case once and I said he told me for a few days and I was told no we have it written down one time. EPEC is ecoli strain that is usually from contaminated food and/or water), septis, UTI, infection in his stomach area, possible bowel obstruction, bed sores, list goes on. But hey, Chico Terrace had given him a tylenol but he didn't respond to it.....SAD because I had complained to the State approx 2 weeks prior WITH PHOTOS concerning lack of medical treatment and notification and the state ruled no violation!!!! He died. I tried to convince him NOT to go to this place to begin with!!!! AND when I went to get the paperwork to turn into DMV for him to have a handicap pass (again I have photos) their Doctor didn't even FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK, signed blank document and that is what I was given, when I questioned it the staff at the nurse said give it to me and she filled in where it states Doctor is to fill out, what a joke. I EVEN HAD ISSUES WITH THE PLACE into having my friend get to his SPECIALIST DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS!!! They didn't see the need and afterall I was told after 2 weeks of them telling me they had scheduled transport was told we already have 5 scheduled that day so no it wasn't going to happen. One morning I received a call from my friend they had actually CANCELLED an appointment that morning because they didn't have transport but they couldn't remember who they had cancelled with.

The CNA most of them are excellent. There are a few at night that don't do much at all and you have to wait for them to answer a call button between 30 and 40 minutes. The nurses are all excellent and overworked and there are not enough people to staff in the evening and the night time. Some of the nurses and CNA work 12 hours and sometimes they do double back 12 hours. That food is mostly carbohydrates. They are very short on protein and they have limited vegetables. The coffee needs to be upgraded. It tastes like colored water. They do not offer snacks in the afternoon. It gets to be five hours between lunch and dinner. They are remodeling this building and the noise is really bad. They've been remodeling for three months and I have real troubles sleeping with a loud noise in the hallways and they don't have central heating. They rely on a portable heater in the hallways they don't have fans in the rooms. There are no clocks to tell you what time it is , the staff cannot do much about it. The administrator has to be able to correct these things and I don't see her correcting anything but making the place pretty that doesn't help her patience. The beds, especially mine, creeks and grown, as it goes up and down, and it is uncomfortable There is no heat in the bath area that they take you to once a week , the people that help you in the bathroom can take a shower and they treat you like you're in assembly line. I know there are worse places to stay, but I can't imagine it, when I came here, they made me feel if I was lucky to be in this rehabilitation business. Medicare pays for a lot of this in fact most of it and my private insurance they need to treat their patients better. They need to feed them better food they need to have better equipment. I happen to be handicapped here in this place, and I believe that when I had kidney stones and was sent to Enloe hospital that something happened to my left leg and I cannot walk on it now
