My sister, her husband, and myself and my boyfriend were in 1 boat with 2 guides and my parents and sisters mother in law were in the other. Mikayla and Nikki were extremely helpful and made our ride very fun. They are very knowledgeable and helped us get into sync. Nate took care of our parents in the other boat. Nate was extremely helpful, entertaining, and educated about his craft. We were very amazed and grateful that he took care of our parents so well. Took a SUP lesson with my husband today. We went into the lesson knowing nothing about SUP but had been wanting to try it for quite some time. We weren't sure if we would even be able to stand up on the thing. Our instructor was so good at explaining how to do everything we both got up on the first try, didn't off the board and felt like we could have stayed out there all day cruising around. Everyone was so friendly in the shop, can't wait to go back there and get on the water again. read more

Poor service, policies, and safety mindset. Booked the city lights night paddle for 3 people including myself. Crazy rain storm moved in and a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Clackamas County during the time we were supposed to be on the river. When I called five hours before we were supposed to launch to ask what their plan was, they said they'd let us know only 15 minutes before we were supposed to arrive. My friends and I all live a decent drive away and felt that notice was insufficient. And in general, we felt that approach was unsafe since the storm was expected to last right up to our departure time. National Weather Service showed the warning would expire only 20 minutes before our set departure time. The woman on the phone told me she heard the storm was going to be over four hours before that. When I asked where she heard that, she literally said her phone's weather app and her mom. (I should have asked who her mom was!) *eye roll* Idk, this wasn't like, "it's raining a little and I don't want to paddle" kind of last-minute cancellation. This was a potentially very dangerous situation and this company chose profits over people. They wouldn't even issue me a credit when I explained we felt unsafe paddling under those conditions, and that we wanted to know about the plan in a more reasonable timeframe. It's really a shame because I was excited to go out with them. They lost my business for life. read more

It does get much better than this. Amazing service, gear, and instruction right on the Willamette River. We rented a sit on top kayak and paddled to Willamette Falls and under the historic Oregon City bridge. So epic! I highly recommend them for anybody visiting or living in Portland. read more

Service was ok... prices are design like a bad scam. Let me explain so you are aware. They rent kayaks for most people to go see the falls, 1 mile away. First hour is $25... so far so good... then I asked: so how long it takes to the falls?, they said 90 minutes... so in my mind I'm thinking ok... I'll spend around $40... but no. Since I asked they have to explain... after the first 60 minutes at $25... every next 5 minutes they will charge you another $25... so if you make it to the falls and that takes you 90 minutes you will spend the max amount which is $80... what a rip-off. read more

Danny was an excellent guide! We did the 8 mile guided tour and had a great time,. It does take time make sure you allot for it. It is a beautiful paddle. We did have prior kayaking experience and is needed as it is a good distance if you have never paddles for a long distance. It is a paddle that you do need to know how to kayak but it is not difficult water to paddle in. It is a river so there are motorized boats that pass by snd create some wake. There is a break about half way through to eat a snack. Make sure you pack a little something. If you love to kayak this is the paddle for you. If you want to see a beautiful part of Oregon this is the paddle for you. If you enjoy being out on the water this is the paddle for you. Our guide Danny was very knowledgeable and was able to give us a lot of information about the area. Gave us some pointers s on how we could improve our paddling. We had a great time on this kayak guided tour. Maddie really knows the history and biology of this unique Willamette Falls area, where European-American settlement started at the end of the Oregon Trail. She made it fun! And gave us paddling tips along the way. Today, water was being released over the dam, so we couldn't get that close to the falls due to the strong current. But we saw an osprey and two of their nests. Highly recommended! read more

Great time!!! We had an absolute BLAST on this outing! The wife and I took out our oldest daughter and her boyfriend for the afternoon. I will start off by saying the trip time was just perfect. We spent a little over an hour and a half on the water. We built up quite the appetite kayaking! Don't forget your sun block!!! Our tour guides were great to work with!
