Second issue is she wanted me to come back two separate times one for lab work review and a hearing test and one for a CT scan and review. Both would require separate billing of visits and out-of-pocket cost for me. I felt like I was being swindled into paying for two separate appointments. Also on a previous MRI she had missed a significant finding from the radiologist and when I pointed it out to her, she said oh that could be a cause of your sinus problems. Luckily, I am a nurse and knew enough to point it out, but the average person probably wouldn't and it's a pretty big thing to miss by a doctor in her specialty. I did not feel comfortable in the office and when I called in my complaint, the receptionist did not acknowledge that she would forward that information or apologize for my experience and quickly hung up the phone at the end of our conversation. I would not recommend this practice.

The office staff are personable, friendly and supportive. I have never had such a thorough medical assessment. They helped me identify several issues and for that, I shall be eternally grateful! Excellent care by her medical assistants and front office staff. If I could offer 10 stars, I would. I see that some have complained about having to wait. Proper care takes time. She's not a five-minutes-with-you-and-collect-the-copay kinda doctor. No one should be and we, as patients have gotten used to shoddy care and don't recognize the good stuff when we see it.

From the moment I arrived, the front desk was friendly and welcoming, and my wait time was minimal. Both the nurse and Dr. Tomkies took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly, making sure I understood where things stood and what to expect going forward. Best of all, I got the news you always hope to hear at a final appointment--everything looks good! I left feeling relieved, confident about my care, and genuinely grateful for the kindness and professionalism I've experienced here. It was a wonderful final visit and a very positive way to close this chapter.

Dr Taylor Shepherd, whom I have been relying on for over twelve years, performed the surgery. The office staff and the PA all worked togther seamlessly to make sure I was well-cared for at all times. His staff listened to and worked with me regarding my concerns about the anaesthesia used. They were super available for any and all questions. The medical assistants conveyed the correct answers everytime. Dr Shephed told me what to expect in advance and he and his peeps delivered as promised. Everyone was kind and Dr Shepherd did his work in my sinus surgery with skill and care. The enviroment was relaxed enough that we could all continue talking pretty comfortably throughtout. Pain was minimal and the outcome is great! I can breathe more freely and the frequent aching and discomfort in my forehead and between my eyes is gone, its such a relief! Id like also to commend Austin EENT for being very proactive for their patients during covid, reaching out and keeping us informed of all the changes during that time. I observed them doing all safety protocols with care. I have benefitted greatly from Dr Shepherd's treatment. In the past, an ear tube increased my hearing ability significantly and eliminated repeated problems in my ears. I highly reccomend Austin EENT Eiger Rd for all your EENT needs. I recommend Dr. Hennessy and her team as well as Dr. Doshi for her awesome bedside manner.

Dr. Fyfe performed my surgery in March (balloon sinuplasty and "roto rooter" holes). The surgery required general anesthesia, and recovery from the "roto rooter" was long and painful. After recovery, I felt great for about 6 weeks. Then, in May I got a sinus infection and took antibiotics. In June I got another sinus infection, another follow up, and more antibiotics. In July...another sinus infection. After that, I sought another opinion, and found that there are more modern and effective procedures that do not require cutting holes (the "roto rooter") and do not require general anesthesia. I had another procedure done last week to fix my sinuses (the holes Dr. Fyfe made weren't draining properly) and it has been a much easier recovery so far. Only twilight sedation was needed, and it was done in-office instead of in a surgery center. I feel more confident now that my infected days are over, but I wish I would have gotten a second opinion before surgery with Dr. Fyfe so that I could have avoided the permanent and unnecessary holes in my sinuses.

My father was in the hospital and they referred me to Dr Nason. This doctor's name was written on his discharge paperwork. I filed out the appointment form online with all the information, including his diagnosis/hospital info/and that the hospital wrote a referral. Someone called me a few days later and set him up an appointment for 3 1/2 weeks later. 24 hours before the appointment, they called to say this doctor won't see him for his diagnosis. My father has been suffering for over 3 weeks waiting to see this specialist. They refused to take any accountability for the situation or admit they put his health in danger. The office manager told me this is not their fault and blamed the ER. Then she blamed the call center schedulers. Completely unprofessional to shift the blame to your employees and then tell you it's not her problem.
