I visited this office for the first time today. Even before, having my appointment, I was already very impressed with the staff. I am blind and use paratransit, so I had called in advance to get specific information so I would know where I needed to be dropped off and I'd be able to navigate safely into the office. I spoke with Stephanie on the phone and she took the time to answer all of my questions and give me a very detailed information. I went for my appointment today and met Stephanie in person, as well as Imani, who was also great. She assisted me with paperwork that was not available to complete online, which is easiest for me. She took the time and was very patient to fill it out on my behalf. I was so impressed because I arrived to my appointment very early. I was taken back by Mike, who triage me and got me prepared for my appointment ahead of schedule. Mike was very personable, yet professional and helpful. Finally, I was seen by Dr. Lee and I cannot say enough about him! His bedside manner is phenomenal, and he is incredibly knowledgeable. He explained so many things to me, intelligently and professional professionally, but also in terms that I could understand. I have a lot of medical anxiety, and he was patient in addressing all of my concerns and answering all of my questions without being condescending or making me feel bad for asking. I'm beyond pleased with my experience. The staff is amazing, the office is well appointed and very clean, and the overall process was flawless. read more

I took my 77-year-old mother to see Dr. Warren Buchalter, and the experience was extremely upsetting. During the examination, he handled her head and neck with what I felt was unnecessary roughness for someone her age. Even after I asked him to be more gentle, he continued in the same manner, which left both of us distressed and alarmed. No elderly patient should ever be treated with that level of disregard for their comfort or vulnerability. Based on what we experienced, I strongly urge others especially blacks or those with elderly or fragile family members to proceed with caution. The way my mother was handled was completely unacceptable, and I hope this message prevents anyone else from going through something similar.. I had to request for a change of Dr and I pray God punishes him. read more

A very clean well run office. The waiting room can fill up but the patients get called quickly. I was there for allergy relief. The nurse took me in for vitals and etc. I saw the doctor within two minutes of being left in the exam room. Overall an excellent visit. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This office is so bogged down in their processes, they have forgotten about customer service. Went to Dr. Marcus to wrap up ENT issues after seeing their Allergist, the MRI folks, and their Sleep study people. The receptionist was supposed to have all my reports ready for me before my "Televisit" with Dr. Marcus. Of course papers not there, then she tells me you have to fill out forms and wait til I find them. Had a "Televist" with Marcus today, but of course it took me 12 minutes to get a "live" person only to tell me that he is unavailable. How rude! Like my paycheck isn't worth as much as his. So, when I call them back at the end of the day. The receptionist gives me even more attitude, like I need more at this point. Tells me "We left a message on your home number, you should have called us back. I reminded her that some of us don't work from home, like I told them already. Now I have NO reports, No "Televisit", and no appointment. So I fired the whole practice today. Now I get to start all over somewhere else, wasting my time, energy, and patience. This is why your premiums are so high folks. The don't do what they are being paid to do. And now my insurance and I will have to pay again. I wish I could blow off my customers via telephone and still bill them. Wouldn't that be a sweet deal? My recommendation is to find a different office to work with. read more

Johns Hopkins is terrible at patient care. I called to schedule an appt with Dr. Bhagat (allergist) for my daughter's stomach migraines. Dr. Bhagat was not available so they scheduled me with Dr. Solowski four weeks out. Fine. Except my check-in email the day before the appointment says that Dr. Solowski is not an allergist. She's an oronthologist. When I called to reschedule with an allergist (appointment two months out now) I expressed frustration at the mix-up but scheduled nonetheless. Five minutes later I received a voicemail from Daniel telling me that because I didn't specifically ask for for an allergist, it was not the practice's fault (even though my original request was for an allergist). Glad to know that after I brushed off the mistake-- the petty office worker felt compelled to tell me I was wrong for expecting an appointment with a provider of the same discipline as my original request. read more

I visit this office weekly for Allergy shots. The office is calm and clean and the staff is courteous. What impresses me most is they always run on time. Ive never had to wait longer than 10 minutes past my appointment time. The only thing I dont like is having to wait 20 minutes after receiving my shot in order to make sure theres no bad reaction. This is a us for the office. I just tend to want my shot and go. read more

I have been there three times for my son's ear infection. And I would like to share my experience with you. 1st time: The doctor (Dr. Marcus) was late for whatever the reason, so I had to wait for like 40-50mins for him to show up. When he showed up, he said that he needs to use a bathroom and did not come back for 20 mins, he saw my son for 5 mins and left in a rush. 2nd time: on the surgery day, the same doctor was late for more than 1 hour. He said that he was not able to check his email a day before due to religious reasons, therefore, was not aware of the appointment, but did not seem to be so apologetic about being so late. My 1-year-old was half-naked and anxious in the waiting room for 1 hour. 3rd time: A day for a post-surgery hearing test, againg the same Dr. canceled the appointment with no explanation (we received a phone call from them only 1 hour before the appointment). It was like I had issues in EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT. They have to know that patients also have schedules, they should also respect patents, and they should try their best to alleviate patients' concerns as patients are already nervous and anxious for the illness. read more

Yes, the staff is pretty apathetic and unattentive, but my review is specifically for Dr. Thomas Lee. This man is a saint. He performed my sinus surgery in November 2008, and he has been one of the most pleasant doctors I have ever encountered. He has social skills, is personable, listens to everything you say, and is very thorough. I cannot say enough good things about him! I have seen him in the Glen Burnie, Laurel, and Odenton locations. The Glen Burnie and Odenton offices are the nicest of the three. The staff at Laurel is the nicest and the GB staff is the least friendly. But Dr. Lee makes dealing with the entire establishment worth it!!! read more

This review for this specific doctor. I came here to see Dr Buchaltar and was disappointed. The staff is friendly and checking in was quick. This doctor said hello, what's wrong? I explained my symptoms which post nasal drip was at top of the list. He proceeded to insert something through my nose and tell me did you know you have a deviated septum? Ah, okay. If you find that you want to fix that I can do it for you here. One day in and out. He also told me that I had heartburn and gave me a prescription and come see me in a month. What a waste of time and money with him. Never again. Be careful. read more

Dr.Pacheco is amazing! From the time I checked in to the time I left! He was so personable! Answered my questions explained everything he was going to do! My ear had been clogged for a month he cleaned both ears and now I can hear everything! I would def recommend him for any ear issues! Even his nurse was great! She was very personable as well! The doctor was so rushed it was ridiculous. He was talking to his assistant trying to get his 11:40 and 11:50 appointments filled as he walked into the room. He spent more time making sure I signed a paper saying I would pay $400 dollars to be scoped than anything else. He then numbed my throat then tried to put the scope down my nose before waiting long enough for the anesthetic to work. He went out and came back 30-60 seconds later, dropping things along the way, and realizing the scope he had just inserted down my nose wasn't even working (dead battery). He asked me where I had pain and I said my jaw, specifically below my tongue and in the lymph node below my jaw. He felt my neck so quickly that I didn't have time to respond when he said does it hurt there. Then said since I said I had neck pain (I hadn't) it was most likely a musculoskeletal problem. When I told him that I was sure it wasn't musculoskeletal, he said so you don't want a prescription for flexeril? He dismissed me without looking under my tongue, so I mentioned again that I had pain under my tongue, he quickly put his finger under my tongue without even touching the painful area and said he didn't feel anything. My appointment was a total waste of time. Next time I'll do my research and not go wherever my GP sends me because I can get a quick appointment. A doctor/practice that gets mostly 1 stars and 5 stars is never a good thing. read more

I went to a consultation visit with Dr. Thomas Lee about a problem that I was experiencing. I expected to only pay a copay. However, without my authorization or knowledge, he apparently performed some type of procedure and charged me $300 for it. When I complained to the billing person, she said that I had signed something that effectively was a blank check for him to do whatever he wanted and charge for it without pre-authorization or even telling the patient how much it costs until afterwards. I will never go back to him again. read more

My experience at Entaa Care was the most unprofessional of any professional office I have ever seen. My husband was treated by Dr. Pacheco, who on his own was great. He was also seen by Dr. Calabria, who as the first review mentions, was wonderful. However, because of the staff's treatment, there's no way I can even begin to consider this a positive experience. My husband needed a surgery, but unfortunately we only had a month or so left before our insurance ran out (bad economy, so he's switching jobs). Hence, we began our preparations well in advance, calling the surgery department two weeks ahead of time to plan our date. At first, we were assured that the date we needed would be available to us; we also discussed it with Dr. Pacheco, and he was willing to comply as well. Ah, the surgery department. As time went on, I started to deal with Shirley in surgery to try to settle on a date for the procedure. I should say, I started to deal with her answering machine. For a week and a half she didn't return my calls-- no updates, nothing. A peer-review for our insurance came and went, and still no information-- finally, a surly Shirley called and informed me that we couldn't have the date originally requested. We'd have to settle for the same next the week after, when I was scheduled to leave for a business trip. Me losing my job is not a great idea right now after my husband lost his, so that's a non-starter. I am not sure if the date was not held for us, or was subsequently withheld from us, but either way Shirley was incredibly rude, spoke over me on the telephone, confrontational, and all-around belligerent. Not at all what I would expect from a professional organization. Moreover, this was the only time I would be able to get her on the phone-- since she never answers ans Entaa Care refuses to accept emails, I left 3 messages begging her to call me back. I finally drove over to the Columbia office on my way to work to try to make some headway, and the front office staff testily informed me that there's nothing they can do, and basically I should just go away. At the end of my rope, I told them that it's very unprofessional to treat a patient in this way, after which the offender apologized. She then proceeded to help me try to get ahold of Shirley, who interestingly refused to speak to me on the phone when she was reached. The spat ended well, with an apology and the woman trying her best to help me, so no hard feelings there. However, not to be outdone, Dr. Pacheco called on behalf of the surgery department-- I could hear you-know-who speaking in the background-- to curtly let me know that he could not perform our surgery on the date he originally said he could. Strange. I don't know if the staff are trying to withhold the date from us, because I wouldn't give up, or if it a real conflict of timing. I guess I'll never know, since I can't seem to get a call back. read more

My overall experience with ENTAA Care - the Odenton office - and especially Dr. Pacheco (10 stars for him!) for myself AND the boy was great!! Yes, we both had tonsillectomies within 6 months of each other...go figure. I went in to Dr. Pacheco after the boy had a good experience and the staff were all really friendly to me with his surgery (well, except that one lady that got mad at me for having a drink). The surgery went really well - they explained everything a hundred times for me and went out of their way to make a very nervous me comfortable. I CANNOT say enough GREAT things about the recovery room staff!!! They were some of the most compassionate people I have ever come across despite me being a nightmare recovery room patient and I am truly thankful for them. Dr. Pacheco and the nursing staff were kind enough to refill my meds AND call them in to my pharmacy within an hour when they were close to running out, and he even gave me a small refill after my post-op appointment because I was still in a bit of pain. I was very thankful for that - he could have told me to suck it up...but he didn't even hesitate, and I thought it was very professional that he gave me the small amount that I asked for rather than another giant RX that would have cost me a fortune and I would have thrown out. If you ever need a tonsillectomy, Dr. Pacheco is your guy!!! read more

The receptioist at the Odenton office is one the most unprofessional people I have ever met. When I arrived for my appointment at this office, the receptionist said, "Dr. Pacheco is several hours late, he is stuck in traffic, and then he has to drop his kids off at daycare!" I asked if I could reschedule for later that day because I didn't have "hours" to waste sitting in the waiting area. I also asked if she could call me in the afternoon if he was still running hours behind, and I would reschedule for another day. The receptionist stated, if I remember! Dr. Pachecco walked in just after I rescheduled, so I stayed for the apointment.He was good, but the secretary, and his nurse were two of the most unprofessional people I have ever met. I am not happy with an office that hires rude inapropriate staff. The staff clearly need retraining. read more

ENTAA very kindly accommodated my need for a late Friday, out of town appointment for an ear infection. With one if my ears out of commission, I asked Dr. Lee to use my assistive listening device so his voice would go directly into my other ear's hearing aid. Surprisingly for an ENT, Dr. Lee had never seen an ALD before. Worse, he was irritated by my request and became increasingly angry as I explained my need and how to use the device. Although he seemed to gain control his temper over his and did, eventually, use the ALD during the exam, the pharmacist later discovered an error in the prescription he wrote for me. read more

I agree with some of the comments about the front desk gals....not very friendly and can be kinda rude to you at times. I always thought the front desk people should serve their clients with a smile....oh well I guess in the good ole days it was that way. I have used Dr. Pacheco and Calabria and I have been sworn by them both Calabria has left the practice but Pacheco is still there and he is a great doctor and really takes his time to talk to you and review your history I am never rushed with him and he actually makes you feel very relaxed. He is a great doctor with great bedside manners.....and not bad on the eyes...LOL I highly recommend this place just for Pacheco alone. read more

Hello! I have been a patient here at the Odenton location since June. I started out with Dr. Lee removing my abscess that I had on my left tonsil from a horrible tonsillitis infection that I had in May while I was at school. He told me that I must've been treated wrong and that the doctors at school missed my abscess. I continues to see him 2 more times as I kept getting tonsillitis. I was then told I needed a tonsillectomy. Due to scheduling, I was not able to have Dr. Lee perform my surgery but boy is he great! He really knew what he was doing and made sure I felt super comfortable every visit. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Pacheco for my surgery and during my pre-op I cried because of how scared I was and he was super nice and understanding. After my surgery I was told that I had a "quinsy tonsillectomy" where my tonsils actually were super infected and there was a lot of puss that came out during the process. My recovery was surprisingly super smooth, minimal pain. I was very impressed with Dr. Pacheco and very happy with how easy this process was. I would highly recommend either of these doctors if you are having tonsil problems. read more
