I bought my first brand new car at Rentschler's 30 years ago from Bob W. It was a great experience. Over the years our family has purchased many cars here. In January 2020 I bought my Traverse. Heather was my salesperson. I really enjoyed working with her. She is very knowledgeable, honest and friendly. The whole transaction with Heather was stress free. While shopping I also met John and the General Manager Greg they both were very friendly. The staff makes you feel welcomed without the car sales pressure. My trade in offer was very reasonable and stress free. While at the dealership I ran into Bob from parts. It was nice to see a familiar face. Bob even remembered that my first car purchase from Rentschler was a Corsica. Over the years the dealership has been remodeled but still offers the honest family owned no pressure atmosphere. We have been getting our vehicle serviced for years at Rentschler Chevrolet. Now, with over 152,000 miles on the vehicle, we decided that it was time to get a new vehicle. We started at Rentschler to begin our process of buying a new vehicle but looked at several other dealers- near and far. We were not happy with the treatment at these other dealers. We went straight back to Rentschler and are extremely happy we did. We were already satisfied with the mechanical team in the service department over the years. Bob Kuntz, parts advisor, always updated us with the status of any needs for the vehicle before automatically replacing part(s), called when the vehicle was completed, and treated us with respect. Now that we have purchased a vehicle at Rentschler, we know that the respect for customers is also in the sales department. Adam Gazdalski-sales consultant, Paul Woodring- sales consultant, Greg Williams- sales manager, and John Knapp- finance manager were all pleasant to deal with and took the stress of buying a new vehicle off of our plate. The certified pre-owned vehicle we purchased at Rentschler was super clean inside and out. Adam Gazdalski made sure to explain every portion of the vehicle to us before we drove it home...even though it was past closing time. We highly recommend Rentschler Chevrolet! I've been a Rentschler's customer for over 20 years. In the past, I've always been very satisfied with their sales and service teams. My last purchase in February 2016 was a certified pre-owned Chevy Traverse, which they indicated had come off a lease and had been driven by the President of the dealership for a short time. Soon after purchase, I started having various issues ranging from little annoying things like the radio randomly not working to what seemed to be major engine and/or transmission issues. After several visits to their service department and having to insist on resolution, they indicated it was an electrical issue and they had "fixed" it. For a few months, it was OK. Now the issues have started again. I call for service, they keep it for 2 days and give it back saying nothing is wrong. In the meantime the service guy calls me and is condescending. They are failing to recognize that they sold me a car that has significant issues. The scary part is that I cannot determine when it will act up and at what level. I have a video I wish I could attach that seems to be a major mechanical problem that arose with my whole family In the car. It was bucking and losing power until we could stop safely. When I restarted it, it ran perfectly fine but the check engine light was on. They will not offer to make anything right by maybe taking it as a trade-in. In addition, each time I take it in to document the continued issues, they become a little more condescending. read more

I just had our 2014 there for inspection and emissions which were required for this one of our vehicles and was very pleased with the service. The Impala also due for an oil change so it was also scheduled. The appointment was for Monday 9/10/18. I dropped the car off on Sunday evening and slipped the keys,cards for inspection and a note with instructions to call me when car was ready to pick up on Monday. The call came but I was faced with the bridge being closed and paving being done on Rte 248 which I have to use from my home as the shortest route to pick up the car with the detour. The time was bad with schools starting let out early work traffic. They were very accommodating to hold it for pick up on Tuesday which for other reasons I finally made it there in the afternoon. After having a few very disappointing experiences with other car dealerships, I was extremely pleased with Rentschler,and would not only use them again, but recommend others to them... I made an offer over the phone, and essentially closed the whole deal through text messages and phone calls. The best thing was that when I got to the dealership, they honored our agreement, and the salesman name Jonathan Faulkner was not presumptuous in thinking that this was a done deal, but treated me as if I might not even be interested in the car. He showed me all the latest features, and controls. He took his time showing me the car and all that it could do. I was very impressed with the way he treated me, his respectful nature, and the lack of pressure he didn't use that most car dealers use. That really made me want to buy, not only this car from them, but all of our cars from them!!! There was no bait and switch, no upselling, no real pressure to buy things we didn't want. I got a very fair price on my car, which I was very happy about, and they didn't force me into other features, or add ons I didn't want. This was certainly the best car buying experience I've had to date. I've been to several different dealers, and bought at least five or six different cars in my time. so, when I tell you that this was the best experience ever, I truly mean that. absolutely wonderful ! I had bought a tahoe in 2014 and leased a chevy silverado high country in 2015 from another dealership ( Faulkner, bethlehem, pa). I loved the Tahoe but really needed the extra cargo room of a suburban. I contacted the other dealership after seeing a suburban there i liked. I have a crazy schedule and i tend to do things over the phone/email/internet. Hard to believe, but they ignored me and didn't return my calls,. My husband then called and spoke to a sales person who gave him a quote $150 / MONTH more than we wanted to pay. said he would talk his manager and call back. 2 days went by before he called. I had already bought my new suburban LTZ from Rentschler. Talk about a completely different experience ! Submitted an online form requesting info. In 3 minutes ( literally) I got an email back from Greg Williams asking what i wanted to do. Gave him all the numbers i wanted and in about an hour we had a deal. I sent him all my info thru email and text and the next day I walked in signed my papers and drove away with a beautiful new vehicle in under an hour ! WOW !
