I've been an enterprise customer for over 15 years, I have rented close to 20 vehicles in my time from this location. I've never had any complaints with the quality of service from staff, vehicles or quality of customer service. However, today the experience was vastly different. There was a situation where a vehicle was needed on behalf of an agreement between GEICO and enterprise with a claim. My understanding is that the process is made to be seamless whereas the vehicle is being repaired, the customer is picked up from the location and a vehicle that was selected is ready for rent while the work is being done. What occurred, was that the work originally slated for a repair center could not be done based on vehicle type. The rental agreement was still standing and active. Upon being picked up by a very polite and courteous enterprise driver I arrived at the location. After my arrival at the location, I was told there were no vehicles to rent. The manager, said sorry there are no vehicles here you can go to another location. There was no situational awareness that I had no vehicle and was just dropped off nor the frustrating experience for someone who is actively working or needs to go to work or has other plans in line with what was promised through this "seamless process". I offered to wait and perform work remotely while a vehicle would arrive. I was then told a minivan was available, vastly different than a premium car, especially with today's economy and gas prices. It is not economic, nor with the size work all of which should've been heard when I responded know that would not work for me. It seemed as if the manager wanted to push this vehicle due to the lack of inventory. I have then asked for the manager supervisor number, and it was not given to me and then had the progressively asked for another mean of communication by email. I then had to send an email of the situation to the supervisor. For a period of over two hours, I have been waiting at the facility waiting for what was promised through the seamless process for a premium vehicle. At one point and instead of the manager, putting in extra effort, he told me that I could leave. Keep in mind again no car, dropped off, trying to perform work. The reason I am writing this review because I believe enterprise is a solid company and 99% of the people at the facility are great friendly hard-working folks. However, it is the one percent that can often destroy a company reputation. read more

On Monday Jan. 5th 2026, I went with my sister to Enterprise Car Sales in Stockton so she could purchase a car. I called twice before we went there and spoke to Tyler and asked him to hold the car we were interested in and even texted him when we were on the way there. I expected a level of professionalism from him but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Tyler came across as very nonchalant and immature during the entire time we sat with him discussing the car and signing the documents. I'm also very upset because I expected the car to be ready to drive off the lot. We weren't given a full tank of gas, only $35 worth. Tyler left us at the gas station without even making sure everything was ok. The front driver side tire was severely low on air and there was no handbook in the glovebox. We had to drive the car to a gas station by our house and inflate all the tires correctly all while it was raining. None of this should've happened because Tyler knew in advance we were heading there and the car should've been ready to drive. I've purchased a car twice here in the past and never had this happen to me with any other Car Sales Rep. Tyler needs to learn how to take care of his customers needs before they leave the car lot. I heard enterprise is really good to work with in regard to getting a car. I was in contact with Jonathan multiple times and at first Alberto was suppose to call me and give me a list of cars I was approved with a certain down payment , never called me. So I called a few days later and spoke with Jonathan and he reassured he would get with his manager and call me by end of day . Never called me to this day and it's been about 3 days. I had a nice rental experience but upon returning the rental, I had already Uber'd a driver to pick me up and when the lady at the drop off finished her check up with the vehicle she offered to give me a ride home from her team it it was within their distance which it was after I told her. She then proceeded to tell me to go inside and she was going to let them know to call for a ride home for me. So I canceled my Uber who was couple mins away and sat in the lobby. Literally over an hour past, I'm falling asleep and the same lady passes me but goes to other customers I finally just decided to order a stupid Uber again and pay its fees. Waste of my time here and lack of care and consideration once the rental is back. U guys suck. Never again. *Disclaimer* Remember, the 2 places I hate buying stuff most is mobile phone stores and used car dealerships. I never thought I would write a 5 star review for a car sales place but I am about to do just that. A little background, I live in SoCal and mom lives in NorCal and was having major car issues and needed a new car ASAP. She is not the kind to want to go to 9 different lots and spend all day looking at cars. She likes certain colors and wants the car to be non-tech. (She likes it simple.) She had recently rented from Enterprise (the week before) and had been extremely happy with the service. They had mentioned to her that they also sold their cars used so we decided to give it a try. We checked online first (they have a full selection of their real life inventory on their website) and got an idea of how much cars cost and what to expect. We visited this lot afterwards...in all honesty its not in the most amazing part of Stockton, its right across the street from Cancun and the movie theater downtown. Within a couple minutes of being on the lot, our salesman Dewayne approached us and instead of doing the whole "used car" salesman thing he just introduced himself and explained how things worked. No haggle pricing, the price of the used car was right in the window where you can see and they had tons of inventory at other places that we could also choose from. Dewayne was one of the more competent and knowledgeable car salesmen I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He seemed like a really genuine guy...no high pressure and he was awesome with mom. He was very patient with her and took the time to address all of her needs and wants in a car. He even took the time with every car we looked at to make sure that mom would be able to get her walker in and out of the trunk by herself with ease. Bill (I think that was his name) in the finance department was excellent as well...he went out of his way and spent the better part of an hour trying to get the exact financing we wanted for mom's specific situation. From the time we chose the car and figured out the financing I think it might have taken 45 minutes to get everything together and sign the papers. A process that I thought was going to take days ended up taking a few hours total from start to finish. I was completely impressed with my whole experience at Enterprise Car Sales and I would not hesitate to recommend them to someone in the Stockton area looking to buy a used car. :0) read more

In 2018 Enterprise sales in Stockton unnecessary ran my credit 12 times when I purchased a suv from them. My credit score was 713 before the purchase and 605 after. I returned the suv bought as I noticed the inquiries and the car had in my opinion poss electrical issues. It wasn't with the 7 hassle free return policy. I was hard pressured to keep the car. I did return the suv. I went to a neighboring dealership where the financial officer Only needed to run my credit 2 times to get a loan approval! I Stopped by Enterprise Car Sales looking for a vehicle to purchased several months ago at your Hammer Lane location. I spent 20 minutes in the parking lot waiting for someone to assist me. Unfortunately, no one came to provide assistance. I proceeded into the facility, waiting for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledge me. In July of 2019 I purchased a car from these people a Hyundai Tucson 2018. today February 10th 2021 A YEAR N A HALF LATER I got engine failure. Never in my life had this happened to me with cars . Tried to get my car fixed through warranty and now I'm CARLESS AND might have to pay out of pocket because I didn't keep my oil change receipts (who dose that) this car didn't mess up because of me they had to sell it to me like that already. Went here to get a new car for the wife. Came with the intention of looking at a Toyota SUV. Richard walked out and contacted us. After taking us for a test ride, we were going to settle for one of the SUVs we drove. Richard then suggested some other SUVs. We test drove a Nissan, which was cheaper, and decided on the Nissan. My car was in an accident and once it was deemed totaled I was recommended to look at Enterprise Car Sales for a used car replacement. It started off friendly with inquiries to me. Hondas are not plentiful on their sales list and when I found one in "Certification" in Fresno and I was told I had to drive to Stockton (I live in Modesto) to "reserve" the car because it had no reserve. While I understand they cannot transfer cars without some sort of commitment they required me to go to Stockton just to shake hands for the "reserve". Once the car was transferred I could drive back to Stockton to test drive it and hopefully buy it. After no promised calls to me, I finally called them 2 days in a row to find out that this car was purchased by an "employee for a nephew". I was very upset that I wasted my time and gas. Even today, that vehicle is still advertised on their site as a car you can buy. No credit issues because I was a cash buyer! Be wary of any "reserve" tactics as you might be wasting your time. I have now purchased a higher model Civic, less expensive and more features from a friendly and reliable dealership. read more

Still tried to sell the warranty, etc. Overall, a great experience and Casey has provided great customer service after the sale, as has everyone at the Enterprise office. You have to be very careful with the finance mangers at this location. They will approve you before they hear back from the banks. When I got my car they had just fired the branch manager and replaced them with a new one. The prices are good and competitive but the warranty on the cars, with used cars especially, you are on your own. I had a real bad experience here, I will most likely never return or recommend any one of my friends here. I had my car for not even 7 months and already have to take it in for repairs.
