I called Stockton Honda on 7/15/2026 and I asked them about time that it will take to fix the recall. The person who picked up the phone told me that if I have appointment, it is probably half an hour to one hour or maybe slightly more, but without appointment, it could be several hours wait. I got 1-30pm appointment for the next day. My service adviser was Lorenzo Meza. I drove the car at 1-30 and waited until hour and a half. At 3 PM, I came to ask Lorenzo if he has any update on my car. Without asking me which car I was talking about and without looking at the computer, he said oh we are very busy, it could take until 5pm. I called Uber at 3 and came home. In less than 10 min, I got message that the car was done. If Lorenzo (who had no other customer at 3 Pm) would have checked my car, I would have not spent $40 on Uber back and forth and could have waited another 30 min to 1 hour easily. When I got the keys and I told him that if you would have done a little better job, I would have saved the money and the headache by going home and coming back, he became aggressive, and interrupted me when I was giving him my comment or concern. There are 2 people sitting on the front desk as you enter, one is Lorenzo, and another is Alonzo. They are so different, completely different. Alonzo is so sweet, so customer friendly and so helpful and has natural humble demeanor , while Lorenzo has sullen face with tired looking and uninterested and therefore un-professional. I would request Stockton Honda Service Department manager, Mark, to give Lorenzo some training and coaching on how to treat customers, and may be send him on few days' vacation to relive his stress if he is working too many hours every day. 2 years ago I got my car and was convinced to purchase an extended warranty that I have grown to regret. I called and was told to come by and they will be ready to have me in and out within 20 minutes. After 30minutes of waiting and being told I'd be next I started to time how long this would be. I am currently at over an hour past and having watched multiple customers (looking to buy) being picked before me. This is my second vehicle with Stockton Honda and not my first issue with them. I'm not reviewing poorly due to the bad deal I took 2 years ago, I am leaving this review due to the lack of transparency and zero respect for your time when it comes to anything BUT buying a car. There is a reason why their sales performance is high and it is because it seems that all they wish to do is sell you a car. When it comes to maintenance or any sort of customer service (or lack their of) I'd forget about it. As a small business owner I get being busy but this is simply not the case. I am currently looking at the gentleman I was told would assist me walk around and make jokes with his co worker. This is quite unfortunate as this is my second vehicle and I've referred a handful of friends and family here. Quite disappointing. As of now I don not look to do business with Stockton Honda any further Update: it has now been : an hour 50 minutes and Richard the finance manager brought me back for a paperwork process that indeed was 10-15minutes. Richard stated they were swamped when there were 4 people in the office and one customer in the building. VEHICLE STOLEN. My mother dropped off her 2019 Honda Accord at Stockton Honda on October 3rd, 2025, for service. While the vehicle was under their care, it was stolen directly from their lot, an absolutely unacceptable and shocking situation for any customer. To make matters worse, no one from the dealership has reached out to her to apologize or provide a formal explanation. We have tried repeatedly to get in touch with the general manager and service manager, but there is no direct contact information listed on their website, and all we receive in return are automated "thank you for your internet inquiry" emails. The vehicle was later found abandoned in San Jose, but we still have not been allowed to inspect it or receive any details about its condition. As of now, Stockton Honda has failed to respond in any meaningful way. This entire experience has been stressful, disappointing, and unprofessional. About a year after I bought my car the screen began to glitch and I told the service person. They could t find the issue but reset the system. Welll it continued to glitch and I brought it up several times at my appointments and even brought it in a few times just for them to look at it. I was so fed up this last time so I brought it back to Stockton Honda. The same day I brought it in the service person called me and told me they would replace the part. A week later I was able to get the screen replaced and did my service there. Mike helped me throughout the process and went over the services I needed. Don't get me wrong it was a pricey appointment but at least they broke down everything my car needed at the appointment. These people i feel are taking advantage of my son. My son is 21, attending Sac. State, a full time chef and bought a 2018 Honda Civic which is his 5th Honda. His starter died last Sunday, called me and diagnosed the issue. Told him we could purchase a starter at an parts store or Amazon and overnight. But since I was under the weather, he decided to sent it to Stockton Honda, (The experts), they either have or could get the part quickly. Monday they informed him the part would not be there until Thursday, they offered him a loaner, providing he showed his proof of insurance, DL and a CC. When he showed up they denied him because of age. Don't know if true or something else. But I belive thus to be discrimination, he could buy the vehicles with no cosigner, gotten 2 rentals from hertz and enterprise, but Stockton Honda refused and I reached out to Lodi Honda and they did not part they would get it over night. Stockton Honda refused my diagnosis and stated we require a $250 diagnosis fee to come to the same conclusion.considering Lodi Honda and Stockton Honda are both owned by the Zamora group, 1 dealer would overnight the other had customer wait 4 days my advuse; Stay away from Stockton Honda buy or repair it elsewhere. read more

There were salesmen around doing nothing ignoring me, then I asked a nice she worked there, she was very nice and directed one of the "sales jokers" to help me. When i went to see the cars a civic with manual transmission, they told me that they don't know if they cab let me test drive it. , they had to run a credit report first. Brought my 2018 Honda SI in for clutch replacement the splash guard came off shortly afterwards was told bolt sheered off I drive car and have never hit anything and said as a matter of fact was told by service manager Mark that they would replace parts and labor at no charge but when I brought car back to be fixed was told only a certain mechanic had tools to work on car so I had to bring car back a second time then was told I would have to pay for at least on hour of labor at $250.00 an hour. So basically was lied to. Very unprofessional. I've spent a ton of money with the service department at Stockton Honda but after they fix car I will pay the $250.00 plus. We visited the new establishment today. This was my first time her since I am from out of town but my son has been here a few times. Nice place with plenty of large screen TV's all over the place. Good selection of beers although they need to fix the issue with the Busch Light Tap. Although we only had the alligator bites (nice portion by the way) they were moist and meaty and served with a nice sauce on the side. All the food I saw come out and served looked well made. My car has been in the service department since 10 a.m. I requested a shuttle service to take me home because I needed an oil change and had a system update error. Michael Keller informed me that, due to the short duration of my service, I couldn't receive the shuttle service right away. After waiting for 30 minutes, I was finally able to get a shuttle. I had to call several times, leaving both a text message and a voicemail. Eventually, I spoke with my service advisor, Michael Keller. He told me that I would have to wait another 40 minutes for my service to be completed. I inquired if he could arrange for the shuttle to pick me up, but he said he wasn't sure and would look into it. Now, it is after 5 p.m., and I am on my way back to the dealership. read more

I called around 1pm still no word on my car and they said they would have someone call me back and never got a call. It was around 2pm so I called back and was on hold for 15 minutes and then they told me it was going to be done in 30 minutes. Finally by 3:47pm I got a call saying my car was done.
