They made them up for me right then and we were on our way in 15 minutes. I also grabbed a lovely pre-made bouquet in a small pottery jug to take to my aunt. This is a nice little shop with a wonderful owner. The prices are standard florist prices; this is not Safeway, folks. I have tried repeatedly to contact them by telephone but only get voicemail and no one calls me back. It seems like this place is either out of business or will be soon. 3 days away from christmas and i was just told to send a floral arrangement to a very important…read moreclient who lives somewhere in the wilderness. the catch? the nearest florist is an hour away. a challenge, once again, presented itself. thru teleflora, i was able to fulfill the task at hand. or so i thought. an hour passed after i placed my order, i get an email stating that the earliest delivery would be after christmas. well that totally defeats the purpose and definitely makes my job on the line - i think of the worst case scenario. a simple task that cannot be accomplished is not what i want to be remembered. as i digress, i explained my urgency for the order to teleflora and they were gracious enough to find other florists nearby while i did my own searching on the 'net. needless to say, our search landed with the flower box. i spoke to a lady named paula who was very sweet, really calm and collected. she had confirmed that she will be making the arrangement with a minor change on some of the flowers, which is totally fine as long as they still look christmas-y. i mean with a floral description like, "by golly, it's jolly", she knew what i was looking for. and of course, most importantly, she assured me that they will be able to deliver on time. definitely before christmas. yes! such a sweet sigh of relief! mission accomplished. keeping a mental note that if i ever happen to be in baker city, oregon, gotta make a pit stop and thank the flower box for totally saving the day!

We ordered flowers from Hells Canyon Flowers for my mother's funeral. Not only was April able to get the colors we wanted, it was like she could see what my mom would have wanted. Nothing closer to perfect could have been achieved. If you are in need of a florist in their area, there really is no other choice. You'd be an idiot to use anyone else.
