If I could give one review it would be stay away from renting cars in this city. I rented a car…read moresince I was flying home to visit my family and was charged $225. I went two hours away and couldn't get a flight out of Appleton. I turned the car in at the national at the Rockford airport and explained what happened they said no problem and then I explained to the Appleton manager what happened. She was very grateful and proceeded to give me a new bill of $1066. I told her what happened and she said with my emerald club discount it would be $1066. I gave her my code for my company and it dropped it to $566. I told her thanks for letting me choose smarter with renting cars. I would never choose national again. What's the point of renting a car when I could fly to each city for $200 dollars. She had no sympathy. If I could give a 0 rating I would. I'm also recommending my company to remove National from there company rentals. Side note: The guy at the desk was nice. Also, the family coming out of the Alamo was cussing as they walked out of the rental car building. Stay far away from flying into Appleton if you need to rent a car

I had booked back to back trips with them in two different states. Unfortunately, my travel arrangements had to be adjusted, and I had a significant amount of extra time before I needed to be at the airport. I called ahead and asked if I could return the vehicle a bit later. I was told that for 4 hours of extra time I would be biller $350 additionally. I didn't think that seemed fair and since I was literally returning one vehicle today and renting another from national I'm a different state tonight, they would provide some leniency and understanding. I received none and was told I had to call a different location to discuss a change of rate. I called the other location and was informed I needed to call the prior location to discuss the rate change. At that point, I asked to speak to a supervisor but should have asked to speak to someone with common sense or empathy. Upon explaining my ordeal, she told me there was nothing she could do about the rate. When she asked if there was anything else she could do for me, I notified her to cancel my second rental because I will no do business with this company. She notified me I could have a 2 hour grace period from my return time to return my rental today and would not be charged additionally. She confirmed the time with me and stated the return needed to be in by 2:15pm Although it wasn't ideal, I thought it was somewhat of a fair compromise. I still planned on returning my business to Enterprise, but felt a little better. That feeling, however, was completely dissolved upon returning the vehicle 90 minutes after my return time and being charged an additional $230. I asked the desk clerk why I would be charged if I returned within the grace period. She claimed the grace period is 29 minutes, and didn't know why anyone would tell me 2 hours. Again, she said there is nothing she can do to help me (a common theme with my experience). Frustrated, defeated, and feeling betrayed, I left the rental agency to again call in and find out why I was misinformed about the window. All in all, I eventually was returned the additional charge of $230 they tried to charge me for only an hour outside the window once you consider the 29 minute grace period. Personally never using national again. I usually don't like to paint broad strokes when it comes to companies understanding that sometimes individuals make mistakes, but based on my run around dealing with multiple locations and employees, I will take my business elsewhere and recommend the same to others.

This location is small, at a small airport, but they have a big selection of vehicles. We had a Chevy Trax which turned out to be just fine for local travel (and toting a three-year-old.) Service was efficient and super friendly. The lot is big but easy to navigate. Pick-up and drop-off were fast, the price was reasonable, and I would definitely use them again.

Secondly they never make your rental according to the options that you have chosen when you book the car through the app/website. They will add some sort of additional insurance adding some $100 to the bill. Do validate the charges before signing the rental agreement. Lastly, i did not opt for the fuel option and filled the gas before i returned the car, and still got charged for the fuel. I showed a picture of a full tank during return but i got a updated receipt the following day with additional fuel charges. I would recommend any other service Avis, National at the location, not Hertz.

Unfortunately the weather turned treacherous so our return flight canceled. When I call Alamo in Appleton to change my rental to drop off in Milwaukee I was told it would be $760 so it would be best if I closed out my current contract and booked separately to Milwaukee since I already had the vehicle... It was 5 times more than if I would get a one way rental from Green Bay to Milwaukee from another company but since I didn't want to drive on the icy roads and in the fog I agreed. Then I was told I actually had to go to them physically with the car to do the above! If I dropped it off in Green Bay it would be almost $300! The corporate office could not help me as this location was owned by a licensee and there wasn't a manager on site. My recommendation...go to any other counter but theirs if you need to rent a car in Appleton and there is any chance your plans are going to change unexpectedly.

Total scam. Even my insurance company went to bat for me as it was their rental reservation. The $500 is pure profit for Enterprise if you don't tamale the car. A prepaid deductible and non refundable. I had alway had very positive experiences with Enterprise. I will not use them again if I have other options.

No problems with the local team…read more But their online CS is horrible. Got charged for tolls 600+ miles away from where I picked up my rental less than 1 hour previously. When I called the number on the email (the Enterprise logo was first foremost on the email and the receipt), they (HTA) had the wrong vehicle linked to our account. Enterprise's online CS said that despite the email and charges coming from Enterprise, they had nothing to do with them. They have yet to reply how HTA showing the wrong car being linked to us isn't Enterprise's fault. If company charges a customer based on incorrect information from another company, the issue is between the 2 companies. A responsible company should immediately fix the problem for the customer and deal with the each other company after.

If you can afford to travel first or business class then you're not even looking at this review. For those of us who want to save our money for the destination, if Allegiant gets you there you can save considerable amounts of money and fly nonstop from small airport to small airport. The base price is hard to stick to, you have to pay for checked luggage, overhead carryon, being able to board earlier, choose your seat, have a few inches of knee room, in flight beverage or snack, and I can't remember what else. But I can play that game, so they punished me by giving me a center seat on both flights with so little room I was in the tight tuck position off a diving board. But it was a short flight, I was boarded nearly last, and Appleton Wisconsin and Orlando Sanford Airport are such pleasant low volume smaller airports. Parking is very affordable at Appleton which isn't a bad drive from Milwaukee. Sanford is a long way to the resorts on Orlando where renting a car is expensive, rental insurance is as much as the daily rate so even with a reservation ahead of time it's going to be close to $100 a day. I like to use public transportation, but LYNX, the Orlando area bus system is truly awful, so I had to Uber from the airport to the hotel and then back, but I still saved quite a lot of money as compared to flying from Milwaukee to Orlando on any other airline, including Spirit. Here's the most important thing, Allegiant was ON TIME going and coming back. I don't deny the customer service experiences other YELPers have had, but if you look at the reviews for other airlines, I'm afraid that's just what the industry has become.

Since we had never been to that part of Wisconsin, we decided to give it a try. We've been full-time RVers for 14 years and can honestly say this is our favorite spot out of at least two or three hundred other campgrounds including everything from boondocking to resorts. The grounds are immaculate, as are the restrooms and two laundry rooms, which are handicapped friendly. The roads, while unpaved are of a fine shell or gravel and hard packed so these are easy to traverse using a walker. There are miles of popular, well-kept walking/bicycle paths nearby going from Point Rawley to the north, past the park and on to Manitowoc to the south. The owners of the park, Tammie and Paul, love the park and are working tirelessly at making it more beautiful every year. There is a lovely pond, lots shrubs and flowers as well as bat houses, bird houses and feeders (we watched goldfinches as we ate dinner several times), whimsical decorations large and small scattered throughout which are changed with the seasons. A number of sites have shade, and most of those without full grown trees have young trees about 15 feet tall or so and will provide more shade every year. Guidelines for the park are clear and reasonable: guests are asked to respect the space and people which is of course, simple common courtesy. All-in-all, this is is our idea of the perfect combination of a natural and well-kept park and friendly people. We are looking forward to our next, longer visit next year. Thank you for a wonderful three months, Tammie and Paul.

Campers needs to put garbage in dumpsters. Exact words "Its in the rules, you should read them"!! Bus drivers were nice as always and river was great, that's all!! Were done here and moving to another area.

Whenever I need a newer or larger vehicle for a weekend trip, I always use Enterprise. The staff is great! The guys help me choose the right vehicle for my needs. Last weekend I was attending my Nephew's wedding in Chicago, the guys put me in a brand new 2016 Impala at a VERY reasonable price. It was the PERFECT vehicle for such a long drive. They operate under multiple phone numbers and possibly multiple names, which is already concerning and confusing but that's fine. At the end of the ride, the 2nd half of payment is due. When I asked about updating my card through the app!... the driver said he'd take care of it with Jake and took asked to take a photo of my card.. No credible company should ever request or handle payment information that way by taking pictures of your card! Because I trusted this company, both of my cards were charged for the 2nd half of payment over $800 total. I requested that only the original card be charged. Instead of resolving it, some dude named Jake called me 3x. I said I wanted to communicate through text so it was written. He called me multiple times, argued with me over text, and promised a refund to the card they took a picture of. As of now, I've had to open disputes with both banks. I let the owner know it was safe to charge the first card as I canceled the first dispuit and let the bank know it was legitimate. I asked them to just stop making charges on multiple cards. This business put me in a stressful, costly situation. No professional company should mishandle sensitive payment information, double-charge a customer, or fail to follow through on promised refunds. In today's economy, no one can afford to have $800 tied up due to a company's negligence. For your safety, security, and peace of mind DO NOT trust this company with your business. Obviously my fault for allowing them to take my info. and trusting the word of some sweet old unsuspecting man. But when you're wasted at the end of a party bus you want to trust that the company you're spending over $1k with can be trusted and this is not them. Avoid the headache
