My daughter totaled her car over Thanksgiving and insurance sent her to Enterprise College Station to pick up car. I had to give my credit card for the $50.00 incidentals. So they wouldn't let her drive car. After talking to our agent explaining I was the mom and we both were named on policy, the car could be driven by either. Told my daughter there were 3 people in front of her. I had to leave and drive 2 hours for work. I get to my work and get a call saying my daughter can't have a car. She and MANAGER KATE had words telling my daughter she didn't like her attitude. Daughter tried to tell her our agent talked to her trainee in which he told us she was good to go. KATE took trainee to back and they spoke a min and came back. He looked at our reservation from the insurance company and told my daughter agent canceled it. But na, the MANAGER KATE canceled it and told her she nor I could rent a car at Enterprise College Station. Daughter called Agent and she tried to call the Enterprise office and both trainee and manager Kate were on their cell phone and said they would answer in a minute. Agent was able to get a reservation with Enterprise in Bryan So I had to leave work and drive 2 hours back to get car. Bryan Enterprise folks were wonderful. It's bad enough to have totaled a car, but to be treated the way we were from KATE was uncalled for. College Station Enterprise is about 2 miles from our home. Bryan Enterprise is 15 miles. My daughter and I both work and I travel out of town most everyday for work. She has small children she has to pick up school and daycare. I will be contacting Carrie the Regional manager to report the gross customer service we received from KATE. I really would give it zero stars but had to do at least 1. I don't know if my review would make a difference after reading all the negative reviews by customers. Apparently management and leadership at Enterprise don't care and just keep repeating the same mistakes. The staff is unprofessional. They tell you what you want to hear, they lied to us about the car. They gave us a dirty car with mud all over it. When we returned it to a different location, they found that it had a bumper sticking out a bit. It wasn't noted in CSTAT because they just wanted us out the door no matter what. Then they called and said no problem. They will give us a discount as if we would rent from them again. Then the next day they sent us an email that they put a claim on us. I don't know what the heck is running this company but they need to get their acts together. Shame on upper management. This is a scam of a business. Don't rent from Enterprise nor let any of your children work for them. They will lose their soul. read more

This company, or it's employees DO NOT follow their company values. The location above does not answer calls, return calls, or respond to emails. DON'T GO THERE OR ARE IN A SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE. They do not "treat you like family". Our vehicle unexpectedly broke down on HWY 6 going into College Station on the way to my sons 7 on 7 State Tournament. My wife and I were frantic trying to organize a tow with our insurance (we live 2 hours away), as well as in a hurry to make it to my sons next game. Because we volunteered to bring fruits and waters to the tournament, which our Tahoe can carry, we needed to rent a vehicle that could carry coolers and a canopy. Vehicle was rented at 9:49am. We ended up renting a Jeep Gladiator. When we received the rental agreement via email, it was for $1600. Michael, the helpful Enterprise guy, said that we could return the vehicle sooner and the fees would be adjusted. When we got home at 5pm, I began calling our insurance and warranty to see what all would be covered. Well, apparently GM Solutions said that they would only cover 40/day for a rental. I then called our insurance, and also emailed Enterprise at 5:11pm at the "if you need support with your rental agreement email here" email address and told them our plans to return the vehicle on Friday with her phone number and instructions to call her if need be. At 5:20 We then called Wharton, TX location and followed all the prompts to which we were finally able to speak to a rep at which we were told to call THIS College Station location to update them so they could make adjustments. We then called THIS branch at 5:28 to tell them that we basically we are returning it ASAP please adjust our reservation, please HELP US. ---NO ONE ANSWERED---- It rang 12 times until my wife hung up to drive the Jeep to Wharton (our drop location). We filled up the Jeep, and left it parked at the Wharton location. I took a picture and emailed Michael at his email address telling him, it is returned, time stamp on email 5:42, please call if you need to. NO ONE CALLED or EMAILED. According the hours on the door, they closed at 5:30 on Fridays, and on Saturdays 9am-1pm. Yet no one called us on Saturday. Or responded to our emails. We spent Saturday and Sunday thinking that they'll adjust the time, we spent the weekend relying on what Enterprise said. On Monday, the manager at the branch above was chipper in informing us that the charges would not be adjusted to reflect the Friday drop off. And basically, not to bother calling customer service or anything because NOTHING WILL BE DONE. That is what she said. I spent has spent 2 hours on the phone with Enterprise customer services. Yesterday, Monday, I was told that these situations happen and they almost always get adjusted, don't worry, your circumstance is not normal. Today, Tuesday, THIS location said no adjustments. The AREA MANAGER does not do it. And customer service sent her to the "escalations department" where she was told that she could speak to the Area Manager. I was given the phone number to THIS LOCATION and was told that the name of the AREA MANAGER was not available for him to see. I called this location 3 times. NO ONE ANSWERED. I then called Enterprise to file a complaint. To the people that work at the COLLEGE STATION LOCATION off of HWY 6, to the Area Manager- You made $1600 off of me. But, you could have done the right thing and made an honest $400-$600. I hope you are happy with the +/- $1200 that you took from our family in our time when we needed help. I hope you are satisfied with the level of communication that occurred from your employees in making this +/- $1200. They take forever to answer the phone! I was on the phone waiting for about 30 minutes until the line just hung up on me. I needed them and I never received any assistance! I brought a car back and was told they had no one to take me home. Then I was told the manager would be in and they could find someone to take me home. I was also told the "car detailer" could not shuttle customers. As it turns out after "customer service" agent disappeared in the back, the car detailer took me home. Thus, I was lied to twice and received very poor service. In fact, it has been 4 days since I returned my rental and still no receipt for the rental. I called the 1.855 # twice, the office in College Station once and the Austin airport office twice and still no receipt. I advise you to not rent from Enterprise in College station. read more

The manager was such a dick for absolutely no reason. I walked in and he immediately interrupted me when i said that I had called earlier. He said "uh no actually you talked to someone in St. Louis (I think that was the city he said)". That was not the case, we were on hold with one of the employees who was checking if they had a car. He turned into such an asshole and said "well I'm the manager and I know there is not a car for you". Then be proceeded to be extremely dismissive, insensitive, and an overall HORRIBLE guy. Location down from Harley Davidson. Absolute disaster of a business. My wife explained to them that we had three kids and needed to fit in car seats a week in advance. The day we got the car, they show up in a two door Ford Mustang. Had to drive it back to the location to trade it out. A few days after we turned it in they called to let us know we brought it back with a half a tank The lady Ashley, spent ten minutes explaining how they never drove it anywhere else and they document every single thing, basically calling my wife a liar. After ten minutes I asked to speak to the manager (I know, I'm a Karen). Manager immediately said they were refunding the half tank charge because their guy drove the vehicle 15 miles to the airport and back, which used up the half a tank. Bad service from point A to point Z. We called in because our driver was late, and Erica stated "it wasn't her" when we politely said we had been on hold for 8 minutes. She was late picking us up, got lost twice, and when she finally got there, drove like a MANIAC back to the Enterprise building. We didn't feel safe with her driving. She would accelerate and slam on brakes, and was heavy on the gas pedal. We didn't die, but it didn't feel safe or comfortable. Finally when we got to Enterprise, we were put into another vehicle which had clearly been smoked in. We had to go back in and ask THEM to put it on the report before we drove it off the lot, and when we asked for a vehicle that hadn't been smoked in, (I'm allergic) they stated they didn't have any more cars available. It was unprofessional and rude, to say the very least. We had the car a week, and when we returned to Enterprise to sign off on the rental, they had put down we agreed to pay for Onstar Roadside Assistance, $3.99 a day. It wasn't even discussed in the rental agreement, so needless to say, we told the manager who promptly removed the charge. We had Enterprise take us to the mechanic to pick up our car when it was ready. Erica said she'd drive us back to the mechanic, which we weren't excited about due to the previous encounter with her driving. At the last minute, a man named Luke took us, instead. Luke wasn't much better than Erica with his driving and so I'm sensing a pattern here. College Station is a small city filled with college drivers, and driving like we're in LA or Dallas doesn't make riders comfortable, nor is it safe. Please educate your staff on what professional, comfortable driving is and not to drive the company cars like they're Ferraris. Had we had work the day we needed the car, or needed an exact time frame, we would have been inconvenienced greatly. Your company's sole purpose is to rent cars, and get them to those paying way too much per day for said cars to where they need to be within a reasonable amount of time. If you can't deliver that service adequately, you don't deserve to be paid to provide that service. Please do better in the future. read more

We went to get a rental while a car was being repaired. It was the worst rental experience ever. The assistant manager Chandler was more obstacle than helpful. She was making stuff up as she went along, demanding at one point we call the body shop... for no reason. She wasn't pleasant and it was clear she had a problem with serving us. Great service! I had to get a rental car because Caliber collision was taking longer than expected to repair my vehicle. They delivered the rental to me at work where I was stranded with no vehicle. The reason I am giving 5 stars is because I was not the one paying for the rental (Caliber was) and Ryan from enterprise called me after I returned the car to Caliber to make sure that I had a good experience with the car and the staff at Enterprise. I was not expecting anyone to follow up and for that Enterprise will be a top choice for my future rental needs. Additionally, when I was getting the car their was a glitch not allowing them to bill the car to Caliber and Ryan told me he would fix it first thing the next morning. When I called the next day to make sure it had gotten done he had already taken care of it. Not to mention the car was clean inside and out when I got it. read more

The only reason we dealt with Enterprise is because it was setup for me from the insurance of the distracted driver that rear-ended my car. We ended up having unnecessary charges authorized to my card all because their scamming representative usually doesn't offer more information than needed to her customers. read more

I hardly ever give negative ratings, but my experience with this business is about the worst I've every had. I was first told I could rent with a debit card if I provided a copy of a utility bill and pay stub. I thought this a little crazy, but I was willing to do it. Then I was transferred to another person who said because I didn't live in Bryan/College Station I could not rent with a debit card but needed a major credit card. I live 25 miles from this location and work at major educational institution in Bryan. There are places with Bryan addresses that are farther away than I live from this location. Then a Chandler person told me I could rent with a debit card, if my car was being repaired at a shop in Bryan/College Station. I told them it was and which shop, one well known that has been in business for over thirty years with a very good reputation. Chandler said he never heard of it and since it was not on their "preferred list" they couldn't rent to me with a debit card. He then would not let me talk and accused me of yelling at him with a tried to speak over his palaver. Since the story kept changing, I don't know what Enterprise's real corporate policies are, but, assuming what I was told was not all lies, Enterprise's BS about being a "family business in a very corporate world" is just that -- BS! I will urge all my family and friends NEVER to rent from Enterprise and especially from this location. read more

Imagine my annoyance when Enterprise called me an hour before I was set to pick up my car to tell me that they were out if cars. This company, whose job is to rent cars, was out. She took me to 2 economy cars and even one that had no gas just to proof that she really wanted to downgrade me. Eventually only to discover that she had no option but have me take the compact car. Incredibly rude and flippant during my transaction (at the College Station, TX, Hwy 6 location). I'm a 35 year resident in the town where we rented and it's unfortunate to see this kind of business practice in my city. When I returned the car, I was greeted by a guy who put his hand up in a stop position right as I entered the door and told me to throw him the keys (so odd), which I didn't do. But that was not the problem (it was just a little startling and off-putting in the moment). Our real concern was that when we rented the car, they told us we could return the car in the evening on Friday, up to 6 pm (and up to 9 pm after closing, which later they stated they did not say). When they told us this we were glad we didn't have to return it in the morning. We reconfirmed this verbally several times (at least three times). Then when we returned the car, they charged us for an additional day since it wasn't returned by 8am. We reiterated that we were very clearly and repeatedly told we could return it by evening. The girl who told us we could return it in the evening defiantly denied it. I tried to reason with them and firmly told them I would not pay the extra $58 (plus) for another day. We were forced to pay it. The clerk and supervisor were both incredibly rude. They had us on a "technicality" but our overcharge was based on their error yet they refused to budge. I even asked if they would review the store video to confirm what they told us. They were nothing but difficult and actually verbally insulted me multiple times, saying rude things you should never say to a customer. Even if it was a misunderstanding, the way they handled the situation and how they treated us said loud and clear they do not value my business whatsoever. I will NEVER do business with them again and I certainly will tell friends to avoid them. I paid almost a whopping $600 for a car rental (Nissan Altima) from Thursday 8am to Friday 5pm and was charged for one week and two days and treated horribly. They were bullyish, rude, and insulting. They had the opportunity to go the extra mile even if they thought it was a misunderstanding, and still make well over $500, yet they chose to send us away unhappy and clearly feeling ripped off. I prefer to leave zero stars but one star is the lowest option on Yelp. My recommendation is to not do business with these people. It all felt very shady. Also check out their other online reviews. They currently gave me a car in which the drivers side door doesn't even close all the way, thus making the road noise HORRIBLE. I will not use them again. I can't even begin to explain how unpleasant it has been dealing with this Enterprise rental shop today. My daughter was in an accident and the other drivers insurance has accepted 100% liability. The insurance company issued a rental authorization number this morning for a car for 2 days (which can be extended) while the estimate is done. It started when one of the rudest ladies I have spoken to on the phone called and said my daughter could only pick up the car when repairs started and they would call the repair shop????? Mind you, the insurance company is paying Enterpise to provide the car. I told the rude lady that I had just been on the phone with the insurance company for 45 minutes and they were very clear that it was authorized for 2 days while the estimate is completed. She again stated she would have to call the repair shop so I offered to 3 way call her with the paying insurance company. When the phone started to ring at the insurance company this lady hung up!?!?!?! I then called into Enterprise headquarters and found a very delightful person who assisted us and said that everything was arranged for my daughter to pick up a compact car. When done we had to contact this location again and I started all over, this time with a guy. He claimed the same thing but fortunately, my daughter was getting a ride to class at Texas A&M WITH the owner of the repair shop. He told them the car was undeiveable and that they needed to provide her the car. This guy finally agreed and you would think that was the end of it. When my daughter arrived she was greeted by what is likely the same rude woman from earlier. She took my daughter to the car and it has a SPARE TIRE on it. Clearly the worst car Enterprise had on the lot. They may think it is funny but I don't and hope Amy reader doesn't. I would NEVER use this rental location for anything. read more

Each semester we rent from them a total of about 7-8 times and I give them a five stars every time. Worst service ever. There wasn't an option for zero stars, but if there was I would have picked it. I called two weeks ago and scheduled to have a car ready for today. I drove an hour to drop off my damaged car and I needed a rental, but they said it was never scheduled. I saw 2 other people that were also turned away, and enterprise said it was never scheduled. I had to call my wife to come pick me up, a 60 mile drive there. This place needs to get it together! I will NEVER do business here again, and I will advise everyone I know to not do business here. read more

Without a doubt the worst customer service I have experienced since Time Warner and Comcast. Absolutely unacceptable. I booked a reservation for an economy car and was told one was available at the location I was renting from. The agent said they would arrange a pickup for me. I waited half an hour and called the location and they said they did not have any record of a pickup. I got to the location and they informed me they did not have any economy cars and only had more expensive mid-sized vehicles. They did not refund me the 2 days for which I did not use the car stating that the last 2 days of a weekly rate were somehow free. This was not mentioned to me when booking the vehicle. They also did not inform me of the $125 one-way fee to drop off at another location. They have a huge amount of work to do when it comes to communicating with their booking staff and about all of their "hidden" fees. When you are open and honest about the charges upfront, I don't mind paying what I know I am paying for. But tacking on fees after the fact is unacceptable and should be mentioned. When I ask about dropping off at another location, you should have asked where and looked up how much it was going to cost and given that information out. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER use this rental company ever again!!! I cannot tell you how unpleasant this experience was given an already stressful time of needing to rent a vehicle. read more

Very not trustful place. I was supposed to pick up rental car in the morning that was the same class what mine and they did not have it. The reservation was done 10 days before and they did not have it. Worse that they only could offer smaller car and they said we can get larger if we pay extra. That was very said that they care so little and messed up all our morning. We were set to drop off our car to body shop but we did not do it because of them. My husband was 3 hours late to work and I was frustrated for the next 2 hours as I had to change all plans I had. Tomorrow morning they suppose to have something for us again. This is the worst rental place I have ever worked with. I rented a car in Waco and the passenger side tire needed air three times in just 90 miles. I called the college station enterprise location and it sounded like they had no clue how to run a business. First when I explained my problem, they put me on hold and told me they were "slammed", then they told me they had no cars so there really wasn't anything they could do to help me. I said well this is sort of an emergency, I cannot drive on this tire and have several work obligations. Then I was told to take and get the tire fixed. I called the place they suggested and they told me three hour wait so I opted to take the car to enterprise the next morning. When I called they told me to hold again for about 10 minutes. When I explained I needed to trade the car in I was told they didn't have any cars. When I expressed my frustration the representative told me to " calm down and that there wasn't anything they could do" WHAT???? Why wouldn't they be prepared with back up vehicles. We have a national account with them and this is completely unacceptable. I will be taking my complaint to our operations team. Going to hertz. read more
