We rented a car on Saturday for a week to take on vacation, we ended up getting home early so I called and asked if I would get a refund if I returned the car early and was told I would only get charged for days used. I returned it 2 days early and was informed since it was a weekly rate I would only receive a $5 refund. I took my car to the dealership to get worked on so I had a rental car from enterprise for a day. They gave it to me at half a tank of gas. I live an hour away so before returning the next day I threw $20 in and it was well over half. By the time I pulled in the dealership to pick up my car and return the rental it was slightly under half. I didn't think it was a huge deal. Soon after I left I got a call saying they are charging me $11.14 for two gallons of gas. I said I didn't think it was a huge deal but why are you charging me so much when gas here is $3.60. He said they upcharge 48 cents. I said if so that math still doesn't add up right. He said fine I'll cut you a deal and charge $5.57 for one gallon. I was just annoyed at this point and said fine. But they are charging pretty much 2 more dollars a gallon so he lied. And if you are going to be so strict on gas give it to me on a full tank and require it to be full when brought back. It's hard to judge where to hit it exactly where it was. read more
