They allowed him to make the reservation online, but when he showed up to pickup the rental, they said he needed to have someone over the age of 25 use a credit card for the reservation. The agent was extremely rude and used profanity in front of my 80 year old mother who happened to be dropping my son off for the car. She reluctantly agreed to put it on her card. When he called to extend the reservation for week 2, and give them my information and payment details, they took it over the phone and said we did not need to come in for any paperwork. When we did return the car, three days early, corporate called my mother and claimed it had never been returned and charged her a late fee. We're still fighting it with corporate. I can't recommended them based on lack of civility and communication.

I had a 4-day rental at this Enterprise location to take care of some things I had to do in the STL…read morearea. This is a suburban location about a mile south of the west side's St. Louis Galleria. I obtained a fair price by booking ahead. Upon arriving to the branch, all the particulars matched up and the rental process went quickly. I think I might have gotten a vehicle that was one category up from the type I had rented. Either way, I enjoyed the car I was assigned and it was fairly economical to operate. The return was also expedient. In concert with that, the rental agents at both the time of rental and the time of return were adept at blending a professional demeanor and providing a relaxed and courteous experience. Other branch employees were also very amicable. The rental was bookended by a day on each side of it by getting around using a Metrolink pass for the area's light rail system. Should one want to use Metrolink rail to get here, the station would be Richmond Heights. Enterprise locations tend to be staffed by conscientious people and I've never given any location anything less than a 4 star rating. The experience here, not far from its worldwide corporate headquarters, was just a notch above that and, based on the rental and the return experiences, gets 5 stars from me.

I had walked to this location since it's just a few miles away but wasn't looking forward to walking back home and then coming back again lol. Without hesitation, one of their staff members offered to drive me the few miles in the rental to my house to pick up my license so I wouldn't have to come back again. I really appreciated the extra step he took, especially since it was completely an error on my part, not theirs. Safety measures for covid included us both being masked, my sitting in the rear of the vehicle, and his wearing disposable gloves to drive (and they leave an individually wrapped disinfecting wipe inside as well). Upon getting to the rental desk, located inside the Holiday Inn, the agent had left up a number to call as he was out servicing cars. I called it and he was at the desk quick, my rental ready to go. I got a free upgrade, which was nice, and he pulled the car up and off I went. No issues with the car while traveling, which is always great in my book. I did a box drop off that following Sunday evening. My agreement asked me to fill the car up before dropping my papers and keys into their box. I also left a copy of the gas receipt with the rental agreement as I know at other locations they ask for it. I got a text the next morning that they received the car and my rental was complete. They do not inform you that you need to clean the car before you bring it back, and threatened to charge us a $450 cleaning fee if we didn't vacuum the back. There was also a large scratch on the front of the car when we rented it, that the guy who worked there happened to "miss," and luckily my wife saw it. The vehicle was filthy but he cleaned it up before I drove off. The car worked well... fortunately we were given an All-Wheel Drive SUV so we could manage the snow we encountered on the trip. No problems with the vehicle itself. Upon return, this Vivian was there, and was the only one working that day. I feel bad for this older women whose husband was the original owner. She isn't quite up to her game. This place is very small, located in a shack-turned-storefront with peeling lead paint, and not exactly what I was picturing for a Budget rental location. After speaking with representatives at 1-800-BUDGET, I was reassured and things were made right. I will rent from Budget again, but not from this spot on Watson!

I strongly recommend selecting another company with higher rates, as your final bill at Avis will be close to theirs but with substandard customer service and substandard vehicles.
