I had a horrible experience at multiple Enterprise outlets this past weekend. To start, on Friday March 27, after arriving at 4::00pm to pickup my car the Covington location, I was told there were no SUV's available despite my reservation. They attempted to tell me they only had a Kia Soul available. Clearly 4 adults and 4 suitcases would not be acceptable. The staff then somehow located a jeep that apparently was just returned --which they gave us. I wish they had not!!! The jeep was clearly not inspected when it was returned. It was dirty and had issues. The first issue was that every 5 to 10 minutes an alarm would beep advising to "service" the air bag. That is a scary warning to see/hear when driving a family. That warning would then trigger the navigation screen to immediately advise that an emergency call could "not"go through. Clearly we were not making any emergency calls and that message was related to the air bag warning. The next day things got worse. After I had dropped my family off in Covington, I was driving the car in Conyers when the left front tire blew out. This was 2:40pm on Sunday March 30---having the car for less than 2 days of our 3 day rental. I then called enterprise support who called for a tow truck; advised me that given it would take 50 minutes, that I should leave the keys in the glovebox and they would call an Uber to take me to the Conyers Enterprise where I would get a replacement car. Here is where it gets even worse. First, enterprise gave the Uber driver the address of an Enterprise location that is no longer located there. I was left standing outside an abandoned facility. I again called enterprise support who proceeded to make me walk a 1/2 mile to where he said the Conyers enterprise was actually located. He directed me to a dentist office--I kid you not! So now he apologized and orders a second uber driver. I waited outside the dentist office for over 10 minutes for the uber driver to arrive. I finally got to the Conyers Enterprise between 3:45 and 4:00pm because of all the mistakes by Enterprise But did the Conyers Enterprise assist me? Not at all. Although they saw in there system that my rental was not drivable and was being towed, and I was sent to their facility to get a replacement, they would not give me one. They said they could not verify on their end that the car with the inoperable tire was yet towed. So they called someone to call a second tow company. Here is where the absurd becomes hysterical. Since the store was closing at 5:00pm and since it was 4:00pm and the tow was not going to be completed by 5;00pm, I was not going to get a replacement and had to leave by 5pm when they closed. Despite me pleading that I needed a replacement car to go pick up my family in Covington, the staff did not care at all. If fact, the gentleman I was working with showed distain and a complete lack of caring or empathy. Despite eating his pizza while talking to me, he refused to call anyone else at Enterprise to assist in getting me a car. He seemed to enjoy the fact that I was not going to get a replacement rental car. Having no options, I left the facility and had to arrange at my own cost to get my family and arranged transportation for the rest of my time from Sunday at 2:45pm to Monday at 8:00am I will be contesting the full costs of my rental and requesting compensation for my out of pocket transportation expenses This experience was utterly devastating from start to finish PG read more

This company is unethical and abuses their customers. I rented a car for a week and was trying to extend my rental. However during my rental week I had my wallet stolen and a replacement sent out to me. Enterprise told me that I would not be able to extend my rental and that I had to return the vehicle because they were not able to charge my card without it physically present. Fast forward a week I received my new card and noticed that Enterprise had charged my old car for the previous rental week + the additional 2 days at a higher rate than the weekly charge. I feel this is unfair because the reason they would not let me extend my rental to receive another weekly rate and now have ended up paying more than a 2 week rental charge for only a week and 2 days. The manager was very unforgiving and argumentative, not willing to discount or allow for any compromise even though I came back to rent another car for an entire month. read more

This is our third or fourth time coming to this location and it's because of Ron & Lauren on why we keep coming back. Ron is usually always the one who walks us out / checks us out at the car and Lauren is usually the one who checks us in at the desk. It's because of them that we always feel so welcomed and cared for. In a career where we constantly are met with rude, disrespectful and insensitive people, it's extremely refreshing to see a team like Ron & Lauren -- especially when we're in town to take our reset before heading back out on the road again. Outside of our jobs, it's generally hard to come across anyone who knows what it means to work in customer service and actually care about it. I know not all customers are easy to deal with, so I genuinely appreciate them always willing to be so helpful whenever we need a car for the weekend, even if it's a crazy, busy day. There was a disconnect with me getting into a rental car for the time my car was in the shop. There should be a seamless transition with that, in my case the other driver was at fault and responsible for the repairs to my car. Enterprise was unhelpful, they seem to have a relationship with Classic(?) I went through an extremely embarrassing situation getting into a rental. The young lady I spoke to called me 'difficult' because I was asking questions about unaware of how to communicate to her that the other person's insurance was paying for the rental. It took 2 days to finally straighten it out & yes the other person's insurance covered the rental for the duration of my repairs. read more

I am a long-term Enterprise points customer and have rented from various locations in the metro area. This location has become the worst. The first incident was when I renewed my driver's license and was given an email confirmation from the DMV (it was done online). I called Enterprise 5 days before, then 2 days before my rental to confirm the email copy would suffice. Each representative confirmed I was all good. On the day of the rental, the representative rudely states, along with the branch manager, " Oh no ma'am, you need the paper! You mean the same PDF the DMV emailed? Yes! Could you print it out? Nope! You have to get it "printed" from the DMV, I explained it does not matter where it was printed, the PDF was the same! I went home, printed the form, came back 20 minutes later to be told they rented my reservation to another customer! Second incident, this branch opens up at 8:00 AM, I was due to return a car by on a Sunday (they have a drop box). I took a video of myself dropping the keys off at 11:40 PM that Sunday. When the car was checked in on Monday, Enterprise charged me for Monday. I called on Monday morning at 9:23 AM and asked how you are charging me for a car that you have in your possession. Their representative stated the car was not returned until Monday morning at 9:30 AM I told her we are speaking and it is 9:26 AM! She promised to adjust my account, never did. I called corporate and played phone tag with a district manager...never got my money back. If you can use the Ford Courtesy Conyers location! Never had a problem with that location. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I showed up to pick up a vehicle after a wreck, & I was told I was on a "Do Not Rent" list. Nick instructed me to "call this number to get it resolved", I proceeded to do so and after 20 minutes that women on the phone apologized that there should have never been an issue tied to my Drivers license. Despite this, Nick refused to rent me a vehicle despite doing what he said. He told me that I would have to travel to another location which is 25 minutes away. The woman sitting in the back decided to stand up and give me a snarky response of "Have a blessed day & waved me out of the store." What a piece of work. How rude. According to my somewhat internet challenged Hubby, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Hwy. 278 in Covington has "the best employees I've encountered in a long, long (pre-pandemic included) time." Yes, I meant to add the s, as in more than one employee...over several days. #UnheardOf #TalkAboutStamina He described each interaction as joyful, which isn't even a word he has been known to use. He went on and on about how they took great care of him and made the whole experience a pleasant one. He said "the guy that rented the car on the first day was really good and the lady (Tharyn C.) that checked the car back in was equally good." FYI: That's equivalent to a darn near perfect interaction, as demonstrated by the 5 stars I was coerced to leave above. :) read more

Rented us a DEATH TRAP car had different air pressure on all wheels when we picked it up was told by management to get air at their shop. This should've been done by them before we picked the car up. We got the air, shortly after car notified us pressure was off again. We filled this car 5x and was told the car had 4 nails and a slash in another tire!!!!! HOW CAN YOU SERIOUSLY RENT A CAR LIKE THIS. People rent cars for daily use as well as TRIPS. As a mechanic as well as manager HOW do you allow this?!? Think about your own family traveling. That's the big reason why you should NEVER rent from this location. Then to top it off after returning the replacement car we were given the cleaners STOLE A BRAND NEW COACH BAG AND IPAD! I rented a car for a week from the Covington Ga location on September 26 through October 3rd. My sister passed away on the 28th and I ended up returning the car early on the 1st. When I got home I looked at the finial bill they emailed me and they changed me for the week anyway. When I called back I was told it was in the contact that if it was returned on the 5th day or later I would not get any money back. I went back and read through the contract and never saw anything about that. The man that told me that also said that he had many complaints about it. The Covington, Ga. location is undoubtedly the worst car rental experience I have ever had. My insurance company made me a reservation for a car rental. When I arrived to get it I was told that there were no cars available, in spite of the reservation being three days old. When I nicely called them on it (no cussing, etc.) I was told by the manager that they wouldnt rent to me after my complaint about their incompetent service. Wow! RENTERS BEWARE! I booked an SUV a few weeks ago from Toronto using the Enterprise app, using points that were withdrawn from my account. I Arrived at this location in Covington today and the reservation was cancelled because I wasn't able to answer their call to confirm my appointment. I had back to back meetings preparing for this vacation and checked my voice-mail regularly. NO messages were left to return a call, and no notifications were sent to me that it would be cancelled. They stated they had no cars available with multiple cars in the lot at 5:00pm. The points are withdrawn and the app says everything is confirmed and I'm booked in. Normally when I book through the app, if they have no cars it doesn't even let me complete the booking. I've been renting cars at enterprise for over 2 years at 2-3 times per month at my home location and abroad and never once did they cancel my reservation because I didn't confirm my arrival. After a flight in and a drive over this was the most upsetting experience. Thanks for ruining my first day. After looking into multiple rental companies which of course were all booked since it's the day of, I ended up booking with Avis. The cost is a bit more than enterprise but their customer service was flawless. They text me alerts to update me on my rental status. I'll be rethinking my business with enterprise after today. read more

Terrible but true. Family member rented a car and when he got there to pick it up they had no car available. Never called and told him and they made no arrangement for another car. As a result my family member who is a disable vet with a dying wife is going to miss his daughter's wedding. read more

0 for 2. Both rentals, told at last minute vehicle class (SUV) we reserved wasn't available and offered a mini van. Second time we said no, we want an SUV like we reserved. Told an Exhibition was getting serviced and would be ready 2 hours later than needed. Two hours later they have a Tahoe. It reeked so bad from marijuana someone had to have smoked pulling into that parking spot, but we were now late starting a 9 hour drive. Five days later it still smelled so much like pot that if someone walked up to the car with the windows down, they could smell it. Thank goodness we didn't get pulled over. Do not rent from this place. I had an "okay" experience years ago, but my parents have had issues. They have either cancelled at inopportune times, or have sprung information on them at the last minute. My dad needed five larger vehicles for a church trip, and had that confirmed. Enterprise called and told him either the DAY OF or day before, that only three vehicles would be available when he told them he needed five. They did not work with him at all. This location is extremely unprofessional. I have been trying to get the car they promised for 2 days now. The first day i arrive at 4:30 like instructed. 20 minutes later they then tell me my car is not available. Now the next day they said they will meet me at my mechanic at 9am it is now 9:45 still waiting on my rental. The lady head manager has no regard for anyone else's time. The award for worst let down of the year for our family goes to the Enterprise location in Covington, Georgia. We planned a Thanksgiving trip to Tennesse for my family with my household (3 adults + 6 kids) needing to rent a 15 passenger van to accomodate us and all of the food we'd need. We rented a 3-story cabin paying over $4800 and spending months organizing and planning all of the details for the 30+ family members that would be in attendance. My husband and I called Enterprise on the 15th of November to confirm the price of our rental, as there was a mix up on the price of the rental. The day before we were to pick up our rental we received an email confirmation so we assumed we'd be all clear to pick up our rental the next morning. We went to pick up our rental the next morning (the day we were leaving to drive to Tennessee) and were told that they didn't have the 15 passenger van. The manager, Tony Grant, said that they called my phone on the 15th to inform us that they wouldn't have a 15 passenger van, which was a lie. No one called my phone from Enterprise nor did anyone leave a voice message stating that they would not have a 15 passenger van. So Tony Grant and his team not only lied, but they did nothing to accommodate us at all. No replacement vehicle, nothing. I would recommed NEVER renting from this Enterprise location. read more

On November 30,2020 I picked up a rental at the Covington Ga location. There was a problem from the start of this rental. As soon as I pulled out the lot lights popped up for tire pressure. I called the location and was told to take it to the tire shop that service there cars down the street, which I did and the guy put air in 2 tires. When I got to Florida the light popped on again saying tire pressure. I called the location and was told to call the road service number. Needless to say that was a task too. The car had to be switched out to a smaller car for my passengers and I plus luggage. The day I returned the car the manager came to check me in. When I got halfway home I realized I had left a IPad and bag in the cargo area and called the location. I was put on hold after I asked for the manager when I let the young lady no this was about property left in the car. They kept me on hold so long I had drove back to the location only 8 minutes away. The manager in a dress and heels was outside talk to a guy in a car. I stood waiting for her to finish noticing my rental was sitting in a different spot, after awhile she comes and says "I heard you left a bag and IPad in the car". I said yes she says nothing was found. She then says I will go ask if the found anything and walks away leaving me standing there. I walk to the end of the building a watch her briefly. I go to the rental and look in and see it's been cleaned. She finally comes back and say no one found anything. At that moment Start going off. She then says I'm going to see if someone put it in the office. She comes out says nothing was there. I called the police and filed a report. He informed me to report it to corporate. Corporate never called me back after numerous calls. They are the worst. Covington Enterprise on Hwy 278 are thieves. It's so much more to this story. Don't rent from here ever. The store was not forthcoming about the basic coverage protection plan price. I wasn't aware until after two weeks receiving a auto draft amount from my account around $350. Contacted the manager and she had an attitude like they aren't responsible for the amount I was charged. I advised her that proper business practices would include upfront information about what the customer is being charged on a daily basis. read more

This Enterprise is disgusting. I've had where they've sent drivers to the wrong address for pick up, even though you've given them the correct address. They question when you drop off the car. Like "United Airlines" you can make a reservation in advance and they will call you the same day to say they overbooked and don't have any car availability and you've been bumped. I've rented cars at this location where they've had interior and motor issues and they've let them off the lot. For those of you that don't know, Enterprise's main goal for their staff is to sell insurance. Once they have your email address you will be harassed by insurance and other companies you'll wonder how they recieve your personal information. That's right -- they disclose your information. When you contact the "so called manager" when you have an issue, you don't receive the courtesy you should recieve when you are renting the car. They become nasty and stand by their code of honor to the company. I don't understand that since they are normally fresh out of college, paid close to minimum wages, asked to dress in suit and tie and/or dress to clean and vacuum and park the cars. Maybe that is why they are so mean and stuck up. This location needs a course in customer courtesy. If you have an issue with any of the enterprises in this area don't bother calling the district manager because they don't respond. This so called professed "family business" that they advertise is no more than a front for corporate greed. read more

I would give a negative star if I could. The Ford Fusion hybrid rental I had broke down the day before I was supposed to turn it in. At 4:15pm on a Thursday I was unable to get anyone from Enterprise to answer for a pick up after several attempts (simply no answer) so I dialed again and hit the option for road side assistance. They were there in about 45 min, however that wrecker couldn't make the tow because everything on the car was dead including the keyless entry. After calling back to road side assistance they said they'd have to send a special wrecker and it would be few hours for them to get there. I could not wait with the vehicle as I was going out of town. They said that would be ok just to drop the keys of at Enterprise. But Triple A who was doing the tow for Enterprise called me and kept calling me all night to see where the car was. Apparently they had Dispatched a wrecker in New York....15 calls and voicemails. Then I called to let them know I had accidentally left items in the car and they gentleman said no problem Mrs. Prescott will check for your items when the car is back from being repaired and call you to come pick up your items- they called and left a message saying they were applying the deposit back to my account, but that was all. When I called back a few days later they said oh there were no items in the car or they may have been cleaned out in our lost and found. I had business clothing and a gym back with work out gear and tennis shoes in it. I realize I shouldn't have left anything in there but it was such a cluster with it being broken down etc and then the person I talked to assured me it was no problem and he'd call me when to come get my things. And after all that, they didn't actually come get the car from my office parking lot until 5 days after it had broken down. Just unbelievable and all they could say was I'm sorry- nothing else. Totally unprofessional. Would never go there again!! Don't do it read more

I've been an Enterprise customer for several years now and its the one place where no matter what my needs have been, i was always accommodated. The entire staff at this location are the most pleasant, professional and dedicated personnel I've experienced. I have loved each vehicle rented! I had used a prior location in delaware since that was a starting point on one trip and i will just say i couldnt wait to get back to my Covington enterprise! Delaware staff were horrible and it was the worst experience ever. Once i got back to Georgia, the issue i had with the rental was handled by the manager in a matter of minutes! I've been a very happy, loyal customer ever since. Great service. read more

Just rented a 4x4 truck, had a reservation made. Stopped by few days early to see if truck was available, was told one would be ready in few hours. changed reservation to earlier day, came back 3 hours later. Cari met me in the parking lot. I was gone in 5 minutes total. Never stepped foot inside. Was awesome, friendly service from the start, Changing another reservation to this location for June right now.
