This was after we arrived in FL, with no previous warning. So we get driven to the 7600 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway location, were met by Manager Matt and his second-in-command Alex, and after showing our Airlines itinerary, were told it wasn't enough, needed to furnish a receipt for a utility bill showing home address and other info. Who carries that stuff around when you're on vacation? Finally after digging through correspondence on my phone, came up with a gas bill. After Matt looked at it, he said, "... there is a balance due of $102.26 on here, so this is not valid to us." He then referred us to the dogeared copy of their restrictions, which reiterated the two forms of ID required by the branch. At our home branch, where we have rented vehicles for years, all this info is prominently displayed in the Enterprise Rent-A-Car system. We made that clear to the Manager but he was having none of it. His response was a surreal version of, "Vere are your papers!" We were so demoralized by the treatment we got from this Enterprise branch that we left there in a daze. Instead of taking us back to our place 5 minutes away via the same courtesy car that had picked us up, they called a cab, who charged us $15. We will be reporting this behavior to the higher-ups at Enterprise and recommending to our home base office that they warn folks traveling to Florida about it.

They also refused to provide any video proof showing when they opened my hood.Thankfully, I had my own camera footage and was able to see a mechanic pushing something back into place, which raises even more questions. Their own before pictures don't show the damage being present before the work was done, and the difference between their photos and how my car looked afterward is clear.I know my car was not like this before I brought it in. I wouldn't waste my time making a complaint over something I knew was already there. All I wanted was for them to take responsibility and fix what happened. They also brought up unrelated information about body shops and clips, but that doesn't change the fact that before I went there, my hood opened normally without anything popping out. I was on my way to the car share meet up spot this particular morning and my car started to give up - I had this check engine light icon on for a while but the honda dealership (WINTER HAVEN) checked it out sometime last year and it was temporarily off from the dash board but after paying $1k for them to "diagnose" the issue - the light went back on and I gave up. A few months ago my car started jerking at times when I accelerated. But this time the morning of when I was heading out - the car just gave up accelerating. Thank god I was still able to bring my car back to my driveway at 5 MPH. Called AAA and towed my car to Johnnys which they open at 730am. When the tow driver was releasing my car - One of the staff asked me - We can give you an UBER to drop you home and pick you up when the car is ready. DEALERSHIPS NEVER OFFER FREE UBER TO THEIR CUSTOMERS not from my dealership! This UBER was out of JOHNNYS automotive EXPENSE! The place looks like a half barber shop and Fords Garage and Cracker Barrel feel. They had rocking chairs seating in the front along with tables, mini golf to play with for downtime while waiting for you car to be fixed etc. They were open slightly before 730 and was welcomed by 2 employees - The inside of this place was clean - smelled good - Very americana - they seem to be a big fan of the sheriff of polk county since you see a poster of him on the door in front of the massage chair area LOL - So u can tell they support locals from businesses/organizations and of course customers. They offer a massage chair which I used and abused LOL There times I caught myself snoring. They offer a section where you can charge your phone, Also a section where they offer array of drinks in a chiller (water and soda cans) - Fresh coffee (NON KEURIG) - Cookies, Pastries, Chips, Beef jerky amongst the snack options that were displayed. A roll of paper towel stand for any messes while snacking. The small details of this place was pretty awesome from the entrance door handle to the decor inside. So while they took in my car to see the issues - I sat in one of the cushioned chairs by the entrance windows - And I was falling asleep. One of the staff said to me - there is a massage chair in the back you can lay there and sleep if you want. At first I did not know how to take that - I thought he just did not want me sleeping in front of customers coming in etc - But I took his advice and the massage chair is located by the other exit door in the back. That area is close to the restroom as well. Be mindful you are facing Sheriff Grady Judd LOL The restroom is clean - And offered air spray / 2 types of soap for use. After waiting for diagnosis - One of the staff came to me and stated the concern. I agreed with the issue and was there from 730 and almost 12pm. I did not feel pressured with any additional sales etc and I felt that they were genuine about the issue which was weird. As I approached my car and sat in it - There was a lilac rose on my dashboard. - and the car had NO dashboard icon lights at all. God willing - its running like its a brand new car again. We got appealed by the cheap rental price and an Uber to our hotel would've costed $100, but we just ended up in the same situation, because they said the only place we could drop it off was the Orlando airport, so we ended up paying for the Uber and rental. If you're thinking of using Dollar, just use another rental, Uber, or walk instead. Trust me it's not worth it.
