After having reserved our vehicle, approximately four weeks in advanced the day of and about 30 minutes before we get a call saying they did not have the type of vehicle we were wanting. We are now currently waiting and behind on our 15 Hour road trip by three hours. The people have been nothing but unprofessional with my husband since it's all started. Totally inept and incompetent! We made a reservation IN PERSON AT THE LOCATION for today for a 15 passenger van. We went and checked on it IN PERSON on Monday and took our insurance information for the reservation. We went to pick it up today and they gave the van to someone else yesterday. And said oh we thought you were with the other people. I think maybe the difference in the name on the reservation would give it away that it was a different reservation. So now we are supposed to leave tonight to take the juniors and seniors from our school on their senior trip and we have no vehicle !!!!!! Complete fail on their part! Should be an option for 0 stars. Seriously, save your self from a ruined trip and don't ever book with this sorry company! How does a car rental company operate when they apparently don't have cars to rent out. I booked a reservation and received a phone call a few hours prior to my pickup time stating that they didn't know if they would have a vehicle available (even though I had already booked it) but said they would call me back closer to 5 to let me know for sure. 4:15 still hadn't heard from them. I called them only to be put on hold for over 30 minutes then hung up on. I called again and was placed on hold again for an extended amount of time. I drove down there not knowing if I would actually have a rental car to leave in. When I arrived, they told me they were "technically closed". After sitting in the lobby for 15 more minutes they told me that they didn't have a rental for me. Horrible customer service and even worse business model. DO BETTER ENTERPRISE!!!! Horrible service, could care less, rude, did not even try to help Elijah McSweeney has helped me the last two times I have been here and is completely without any consideration of the inconvenience that is being inflicted when there are no cars available and they cannot fulfill a scheduled vehicle. Frustrating and it's almost like he enjoys being unhelpful. Needless to say they were unable to provide us a vehicle when scheduled and are without vehicle, had to return two times today to be told both times they did not have any available. Update on this post as the bill was going to collections because I refused to pay it. I even canceled my credit card. I finally spoke to a manager that understood what happened. They tried to get me to pay $200 a month and I told her exactly what happened, she apologized profusely and sent me $50 for the inconvenience of being stranded-and took care of the bill. Unfortunately I have a claim on my insurance even though it says zero paid and I wasn't at fault-it's still there and cannot be removed. All in all I'm glad I didn't have to pay the $4900 that I should've never been charged for, I'm glad I wasn't hurt being stranded in a dangerous part of town on the side of the road and I did get home safely after 30 hours or whatever it was...I was tired!! Be wary and get all the insurance they offer if you do use this company because that is what they told me, if I had purchased the extra insurance at $18 a day more or whatever it was they wouldnt have ever billed me for anything. Still, brand new Chrysler Pacifica (trash), and the van just died going down the interstate -shorted out. I asked for a small car and they gave me a van and I did tell them I didn't want it but it was the only vehicle available...and I know why -they're not reliable! Not on enterprise about the car that only had 16k miles on it, but how they handled me as a customer was awful until the very last manager I spoke to-someone with common sense that understood I was stranded and not in a good place. I'm a tough girl but even I was scared where I was stranded in Albuquerque. I should've been compensated for this ordeal and she did ask if I wanted any reimbursement for anything-I told her the gas money I gave a friend to come get me and let me sleep a few hours on a chair until the next day (she had to go to work, and had a roommate so I couldn't stay in the house), so I had to sit on the porch all day until enterprise showed up in the afternoon with a small truck for me to drive home. So I received a $50 check reimbursement-I should've went to a hotel but I didn't realize I was going to be stranded that long, and I would've had to check out of a hotel at 11am too-so still stranded...anyways...be careful! read more

I rented a car for the day in December 2021. The person attending me did not wear a mask despite the state mandate AND the sign on their own door. I asked them to apply my corporate discount and they said they couldn't. Then they found me in the system and told me that I was fine and my fare would be $72 for the day. Never mentioned anything about miles limitation. I drove 150 miles, and returned the car that night. After two days I get an invoice for $346!!! I am now realizing that they got the mileage wrong and thought I drove 1400 miles... in one afternoon. Outrageous. These a guys are clearly local franchise operator that I have no clue about how Enterprise rent a car does things. --- Update --- After I complained twice and copy care@enterprise.com they made it right and lowered the invoice to $105. Absolutely unhappy with the service and experience with this company. I had to rent a vehicle here while my vehicle was being repaired. The selection was horrible and I was not satisfied with my choices. But furthermore the service was poor, every time I call I get put on eternal hold for over 10 minutes each time, so I just had to go in for assistance. The counter help was also sloooooooooowwwww and when I locked the keys in the car they said they couldn't help me and to call someone else. The entire experience was poor and I hope I never have to return! Would absolutely avoid! read more

Honestly was hoping to come in for a simple pick up, first time having to get work done on my car. And I come in and the lady tells me that my insurance can't set my appointment but the first time he set my appointment it went fine and i got a call to confirm a time and then he had to reschedule the date and i never got a call for the time her just told me it was all set. Now she's telling me there won't be availability until 12 at least, wasting my morning at work and while I wait to be picked back up the AC is blowing on me as it's already 20 degrees outside. I am currently getting my 2019 Kia stinger repaired for some Minor damage and this happened to be the enterprise near my collision center. The work was going to take 30 days due to special paint work involved. I arrived at enterprise to a friendly greeting, and even though they only had one car I could take I didn't really mind because it was a nice small truck. 3 weeks down the road of me having this car I received a notification that enterprise had attempted to charge the same card I put my $50 deposit with when I first got the truck. It was almost $200?!?! This is unusually weird because my insurance company was covering my rental car for the whole period and they knew this. Worst customer service experience I have had anywhere, in a long time. I had a reservation to be picked up, first thing in the morning, they reneged, telling me, it's not their policy to pick up outside city limits. (which was never mentioned when I made my reservation) When I arrived, at the rental office, (through alternate arraignments), they were short staffed, very rude and condescending. Claiming one excuse after another, why they wouldn't honor my reservation. I gathered from office phone conversations while I waited, that they were simply out of cars to rent. Absolutely the best customer service of all the car rental agencies in Farmington. Very knowledgable and helpful with insurance claims. Large selection of vehicles to chose from. When an airport rental agency culdn't get me a vehicle larger than a Corolla, after 4 days, I called Enterprize and they contacted my insurance company and I had another vehicle in an hour. read more

Very friendly and accommodating. They weren't at the airport when my flight came in, due to yet another delay by Great Mistakes airlines, so to make up for it, they picked me up at the hotel the next morning, and gave me a discount on my rental. read more
