Booked a rental in early October and booked a flight in Sanford for the Holidays. Plus booked another flight back in December. 3 days before the pickup get a call they have no cars. Talked with people twice at Enterprise so now I am waiting as they escalated it and to wait for their call back. So besides this car rental I am worried that on my return flight which arrives at 11:30 PM no car will be available and will be spending all night in the Sanford airport. I guess I should have checked here before using Enterprise. Would I recommend Enterprise..No I see the message from the manager, I am not going to waste more time on Enterprise. 3 phone calls to 3 different people all saying this is being escalated and I will get a call back. Ridiculous that Enterprise charges $300 as a deposit when using a credit card and selecting insurance where you can walk away when you make reservations and pick up the vehicle. They also still require your insurance company and policy information. Not sure why Lisa S wants an email. I made the issue crystal clear in this review! Address the required $300 deposit and my insurance policy information if I am selecting your coverage to walk away if anything happens to your vehicle. I wanted to update my review to a 3 star instead of my original rating because about a week after renting from them I called the office and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Danny (if I have the wrong name I apologize) and he was very respectful and sincerely apologized to me. He even informed me that he had the vehicle I rented detailed so no other person would have the same experience I did. Their customer service, accountability and follow through is superb. Even though my rental experience was less than ideal, I would rent from them again because of how they listened and corrected the problem so no other customer will have a poor experience. Received a rental from enterprise for vacation. Something is not right with the breaking system. I called everyone possible and they all told me they were unable to assist. Finally got ahold of someone who told my boyfriend and I they contacted an enterprise location and we could pick up a new car in 2 days. The day came and after arrival we were told we were at the wrong location - so they sent us to a location 20 more minutes away and said they have many cars for us to choose from. We arrive at the second location and they tell us they have no cars at all and to come back tomorrow. We will not keep wasting our vacation driving back and forth almost an hour each way to different enterprises with a car that is already finicky. We attempted to contact others after this incident, but we were quickly pushed off the phone and the chat they have available on their website. We found an email - but it's been over a day with no response. So disappointed, especially having delt with this on our vacation. read more

I have used Enterprise across several states and never have I received such horrible service. If I could give this location zero stars I would! Bibiana Magana is the absolute worst! She purposely escalated our encounter because I had questions regarding our reservation that she could not or would not answer. She was defensive from the start and she only got worst. After being told several times that if we did not like the service being provided we could go to another location, we left. Waited 2 hours only for them to cancel my rental because I chose to question charges on the bill and ask to see their policy regarding the justification. DO NOT rent from enterprise!!! This must be the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Complete incompetence. Your reservation means nothing. When you get there, they will never have a car ready for you especially in the one that you previously reserved with a reservation. I don't think they know what Customer Service means at this place. Bunch of young kids running this place with absolutely no clue as to what they were doing and could care less about their customers. After hours of waiting for our rental, we given a filthy car that had an order like something died in it. Isn't it standard protocol to clean the car before you rent it out? I've never had such deplorable service NEVER AGAIN!! Get it together enterprise..I will be renting elsewhere going forward. And I will spread the word on your deplorable service. Don't expect anyone here to be a decent human being. I left a diaper bag with swim gear in the trunk of a car. Called the next morning and the car was already rented out to someone else with the bag still in it. You'd think the 50 dollar deposit they make you pay would at least get you a phone call to come pick up your items. Its been 2 weeks with no answers, they claim they never saw it. This was one of the more positive customer experiences I have had in quite a while. I needed a rental due to my vehicle being worked on at a dealership nearby that was dealing with some unexpected hardware difficulties. The dealership paid for the rental since my 5 hour job turned into a 7 day fiasco. Both ladies that I had the pleasure of speaking with there at the time of rental and the time of return demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. It's nice to offer water but what I'd really appreciate is an accurate time when the car would be ready. My strong recommendation would be to reserve the exact type you want and validate it's there before showing up. Or better yet go to another location. read more

I've been here for over an hour and STILL haven't gotten a car. My first 10 minutes here i sat while one customer was helped by mark and the other enterprise rep Jamie finished up with her customer . Then she got on her personal phone loudly and on speaker instead of greeting or assisting me. After she ended her call i asked IF SHE COULD HELP ME ! It's been an hour getting my stuff squared away and They still don't have an ETA. Mark told me i was at the top of the list 20 minutes ago, and then 10 minutes after that asked me who i was THEN confirmed i was next on the list. People who came in after me have left before me. so yes don't use this place there cars are dirty cause they always rush the cleaning part! I rented a vehicle from there it wasn't cleaned properly prior to me renting it. The vehicle was smoked in prior to me using it. There was a 20 percent discount giving for the smoke smell when I brought it back I was charged a $150 cleaning fee. I WILL NEVER USE THEM!! The driver that picked me up was very nice and drove safely. The clerk that handled my reservation was polite and helpful. The car was loaded with accessories, however it did smell of cigarette smoke, even though it was suppose to be a non smoking car. I really should have asked for a different car. This outlet is in the middle of multiple car dealers who send their customers to this Enterprise outlet to rent while their cars are being repaired. As a result they are very busy! I've used them several times over the years when my vehicle was at Sunrise Ford. On 4/1, I dropped my vehicle off at Sunrise, was picked up by the Enterprise driver and brought to the outlet. It was packed! Standing room only. They only have 3 computer terminals to check people in and out, which slows things down. Employees seem to have no direction. No leadership. They're all courteous, but can't get it done. They're off doing whatever except for one guy....Mark. He really kept at it. My name was added to a clipboard and I waited. And waited. Talking to people there I found that some had been there over 2 hours waiting for them to bring out the car. I waited an hour and a half. In the employee's defense, they had everyone checked in and ready to go. There were no cars. The excuse seemed to be "They have to be cleaned." There should be a fleet of vehicles outside waiting for customers. You check in, the employee gives you the paperwork and a set of keys, tells you the location, and off you go. If you want to do a walkaround have an employee out in the lot full time to walk around with the customer. The vehicle I rented was fine. I returned it on the fourth. There were 6 vehicles lined up outside when I got there. All returns. There were two customers inside who told me they had been waiting over an hour and a half for a car. Again, the only person doing anything was Mark who worked hard to keep everyone happy. I saw two other employees who disappeared into the back, never to be seen again. When we went outside to check in my car I said to Mark, "You guys really need to staff up. You have to up your game. An hour and a half wait is nuts." He was apologetic, but obviously between a rock and a hard place. My advice, get enough cars there to feed your business. Put in enough equipment to handle the overload periods. Staff up to cover the needs of the business. If a guy in a white shirt has to go out back and clean cars do it. Multi-task. And for gods sake put a manager in who can control the business and it's people and get some efficiency. People should be in and out of there in 15 to 20 minutes max! read more

Terrible service. I waited an hour for them to pick me up, only for them to never show up despite me calling multiple times. Thankfully the service shop I was at took pity on me and drove me themselves. I get to the enterprise counter and they tried to tell me that they had picked me up. Rent from Enterprise 25-30 times a year, mostly from PSL/Ft. Pierce locations. They're both good, but the US1 location is my favorite. There are at least half a dozen different employees that greet me by name as soon as I walk through the door. Quick service, even on Friday afternoons. In my 40 years of travelling, I have never had a good experience with Enterprise. They are always my last choice and they always fail to satisfy me. Why? How hard can it be to rent a car to someone quickly? In this latest rental, I was renting a car one-way from Fort Pierce, FL to Nags Head, NC and made my reservation about a month in advance. I had to go with Enterprise because they were the only ones that had a rental office even remotely close to Nags Head. When I arrived to pick up my car, I found out that they had just taken my car into a service shop for an oil change. Therefore, they had to scramble to find me another car. Why was this done right before I was scheduled to pick up the car? Well, 30 minutes later, I finally got out of there.
