This location is the best in our city don't even bother booking with the other Enterprise down the road at 5400 US Highway 1 as that seems to be out of vehicles constantly with staff that gives very poor condescending customer service to amend issues like Kayla has. At the 975 S US Highway location the manager David has always been a friendly the past five times we rented a car there, he seems to always go above and beyond to make all customers happy. Dear Customer Service, My name is Pedro, and I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my rental reservation scheduled for pickup on March 14 at your Fort Pierce location on US-1. I originally made my reservation several days in advance. On Friday, March 13, I called the branch to confirm the reservation and to make sure the driver would be able to pick me up from my home, which is less than three miles from the branch. The employee I spoke with, Hailey, confirmed that the reservation was in place. However, she stated that although they had a driver, they would not be able to pick me up. I explained that I have always been picked up in the past and was surprised by the response. During the conversation, Hailey was rude and unprofessional. When I asked to speak with a manager, she stated that she was the only person available. In order to resolve the situation, we agreed that my reservation would remain confirmed and that I would arrange my own ride to the office the following morning. Approximately 30 minutes later, I received another call from a man named Jared from the same Fort Pierce US-1 location. He informed me that they did not have any cars available and that they would not be able to provide me with the vehicle I had reserved days earlier. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, he also stated that he was the only person there. I then asked him directly if my reservation was being canceled. At first he said no and that he was only letting me know there were no vehicles. However, when I asked again for clarification, he said, "If you want to call it that way, yes." He then told me that if I came to the office in the morning they would not be able to help me and that I should go to a different branch. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially because I had already made travel plans and reservations for an out-of-town trip. Unfortunately, due to the branch's actions and lack of communication, I am now dealing with the loss of funds related to my vacation plans. I have rented vehicles from your company many times before and have never experienced anything like this. The way I was treated by the staff at the Fort Pierce US-1 location was unprofessional and unacceptable. I am submitting this complaint so that this matter can be reviewed and addressed. everytime i come to this place they either give me a rental that i dont want or one that has something wrong with it.... for one they give me a rental with a out of state tag on it.... everyone knows out of state tags are is to get pulled by the police in fort pierce.... secondly i had reservations for a car soon as i turned one in and the guy said he didnt have any cars after reading my reservations seeing that i had a rental for $133.00 for 4 days... he talking bout a malibu when he know i dont like the malibu's.... you driving around in a company car... which should be on the lot until the end of the day because customers come first... at the end of the day whatever car is there thats what u pick to take home... i total lost my car in a accident and i m still waiting on my gap insurance to pay my car off, so therefore i still need to rent me a car but the poor customer service i get from this one enterprise... im also a enterprise plus member.... i usually deal with vero beach enterprise out west by 95, but i dont work out there anymore... so transportation is a problem for me to get there..... this place is bad for business..... cars not being sanitized the proper way or cleaned rite its crazy.... i dont smoke but i do know when a car has been smoked in when i get in one,,,, i dont car how much spary they use before renting it out again....... read more

Insurance company contacted them about a rental while they have my car repaired. On Friday, they had my reservation, but had no cars, and made no effort to get me a car, leaving me stranded at their place of business. Insurance company called and was told this would be elevated and I would be taken care of. They did nothing. Tuesday, another reservation was placed, and this time I was told they couldn't accommodate me because I had no way to get there and they had no drivers to bring the car (despite what their advertising claims). By the way, you'll probably see a response shortly by a "concerned customer service representative" but it appears to be a bot, as my email to them has gone unanswered. read more

When I was checking in, the agent told the couple ahead of me that he had no cars, it would be about an hour. I thought, "well, I'm glad I have a reservation, then." Long story made short, so did the couple, so did six other people. When I asked why they accepted reservations without any available cars, the agent said repeatedly, "It's not my fault." He refused to get me a ride to a facility with available cars. He also kept telling new arrivals "about an hour," although that was clearly not true. I spoke to Hertz, farther south, and she said they only had enough cars to fill their current reservations, but no extra. Good for them! Imagine that, fulfilling your obligations! The girl at the front is so rude, her attitude is a complete joke. She sits on Facetime and makes you wait like she doesn't have a job to do. Booked a car with pickup at my location for 8am. At 8:15 am, still no call/text/pickup. I call the office. Turns out the location hasn't had vehicles available for rent for the past three days. I asked why I wasn't informed so I could make different arrangements. The script response was "I thought corporate would be sending me more cars." Called the corporate office and was told there are no vehicles in a 30 mile radius so they can't help. I am now stranded in a situation that would have been totally avoidable with a simple heads up. The staff member asked if I wanted to make a reservation I declined since I was driving and would be there very soon. When I arrived the agent Rick Morelas told me they have nothing available. So far so good , came in and got a good deal on a rental with my reservation made through Priceline. I was also able to use a firefighter discount in addition to a free upgrade from standard size car to SUV crossover. My only complaint thus far is that the car was obviously not vacuumed/cleaned and smelled strongly of chemical only to realize on my trip that it was in leu of smoke stench. I immediately called the same day to inform them that the car smells and that I wanted to tell them so I do not get charged. Customer service has been great and so far I have been offered to trade in the vehicle however I'm already near my trip destination. I made a reservation to pick up a truck between the hours of 10-11am. We arrived at 11:15 and were told our reservation was cancelled and considered a no show. No call or text asking if we were running behind. Érica has got to be the most impolite, rudest person I've ever dealt with. She went inside and left me speaking. Wearing her mask shield she still acted as if speaking to be she was going to catch the virus or something! Didn't have an explanation as to why if we had a reservation and the truck we reserved was sitting in their lot, she refused to give us the rental. Funny thing when I mentioned her name at other locations they knew who she was and not meaning as a nice person. WILL NEVER rent from this location again. We would have understood if they actually were sympathetic. The lady there didn't care that our flight was in 2 hours and we had no way to get there. This was the most disgusting rental car agency I've ever visited. They tried to give me a dirty, nasty car that hadn't even been cleaned. I watched the prior renter return it with a slobbering shaggy dirty dog in the back seat, and the agency's idea of "cleaning" it was to spray about 3 cans of air freshener and give it a cursory vacuuming. Needless to say I rejected the car. As this was the last vehicle on their lot on a Saturday at noon before they closed (yes, the very last vehicle), the manager agreed to drive me to the Vero Beach location to select a different vehicle. (For these efforts, at least, I can say good things.) However, the Vero Beach car was not much better. It was a rattletrap old Jeep with 25,000 miles, dirty cloth seats, about 12 horsepower, and a broken tail light that dinged every time I turned the right blinker on. I should've rented from where my travel companions did (National and Hertz), as they drove around the entire week in brand new (and new smelling) comfortable, clean cars with leather seats. The clientele at Fort Pierce Enterprise also leaves little to be desired, which only adds to the enjoyment of the experience. Suffice to say I will not be returning. read more

An hour and 1/2 before pickup, the rude clerk called and cancelled my rental because they had no cars. Will never use Enterprise again. Alamo got my business to avoid missing my mother's funeral. If I could choose negative stars I would. We had an appointment set up for 6 pm. We pulled up at 6:04 pm. The manager (I assume: he was in a white button down and a black tie. He was rather chubby and had a darker complexion with glasses and black hair.) was standing in the doorway when we pulled up. He immediately told us that they were closed. We explained we had an appointment for 6 and he told us that they had waited and they were closed. We asked if they had our reservation and he refused to check. Finally, my fiancé who has a severely broken leg had to get out of the car and limp over to the guy and demand he look for our reservation. He went in, looked it up on the computer and came out a minute later. He said that they did have our reservation but they were closed because at this point it was 6:10. I looked down at my phone and it was actually only 6:08. I corrected him and he aggressively told us we were too late. He forced us to leave. Because of him, we now are going to miss a very important conference located two hours away. We were only 4 minutes late AND we had a reservation. I've worked customer service before and this is NOT the proper way to treat a paying customer. read more
