Update: James worked hard to correct the previous situation. He genuinely seems to care about the clients. He made sure that I had a car that did not need a service and took time to go over the car with me instead of rushing me through the process, plus the car had over a 1/2 tank of gas. They rent cars that need service. Very scary experience. Car was unsafe and needed an alignment. Service light came on about 50 miles from their location. Gave me $100.00 off of the rental and acted as though they were giving me the moon. Spent $3000 on rentals at this location over the last two years. Be careful about renting cars here - not the first time I've had car issues here. Assistant manager, Marissa gave me $55.00 per day on a recent rental (mid sized car) and that was supposedly the best deal they could give me. Reneged on the upcoming rental price. Had a reservation confirmed for 9:30 arrived early and was informed that I have to wait for returns. 30 minutes pass and I'm told I will not be getting a car today as they called their sister branches and no one would support getting me a vehicle. Stated that just because I have a reservation doesn't mean I'll get a vehicle since sometimes the system allows them to overbook and other times the system doesn't take into account vehicles being in the shop. Wasted 30 minutes and had to call out of work with no resolution. Worst of all is looking through reviews it seems to be a common issue that they don't have stock to honor reservations, with no resolution on their end. Edit: nice generic response having the customer have to reach out to you. What for? You can't fund my callout not can you get me a car to not callout. You've already tried that and failed. I wish yelp allowed replies so we could post your "resolutions" after we contact you so people can see that as well. read more

Don't bother coming here if you think you are going to leave in a timely manner. I had a reservation for 12 and they allowed multiple walk ins to have their vehicles cleaned before mine putting me behind schedule for a work trip. The car was scheduled through my company. I was even here 20 minutes early just to make sure I could leave at 12, but they failed at that. Try somewhere else. read more

I'm completely disappointed in this Enterprise car rental location. I reserved a car approximately 60 days ago and flew from East Tennessee Salt Lake to Fresno. I put my estimated pick up time at 12 noon. My son-in-law picked me up at the airport and he decided that would be best for us to go back to his house and take his car to go pick up my car rental. When we arrive, they said we were late and they no longer had our vehicle reserved. They told us that we would have to get a different vehicle and would not honor the price. We question this and they stood firm as if we did something wrong. Then they scolded us and said we should've rented at the airport; there was never a smile or an apology during our exchange. Since 2008 I've traveled a lot of the US and rented mostly exclusively at Enterprise. I've changed my view of this brand. Customer service is important. What surprises me is the manager of this location was grumpy and unfriendly. She did not give a hoot, whether or not we were taken care of. In turn we got a rental at another brand and we were treated kindly, with respect and received an upgrade at no extra cost. read more

We rented a 26 foot truck from Fresno Enterprise to move out of California. We had checked into renting a truck from Uhaul and Penske but at the time I was looking into pricing (March 2024) to rent from either of those companies the base cost for just the rental was about $5300, not including price per mile, insurance or gas! I checked what the cost was to rent a Uhaul going from Boise, ID to Fresno, CA, the base cost was $900, so Uhaul was going to gouge us for $4400 beause we were coming from CA. Upon checking with Enterprise, the base cost was going to be $697 for the week, 24 cents per mile, with a $300 deposit, $400 for insurance (for some reason our Triple A insurance wouldn't cover a truck over 16 feet). The catch is that we would have to bring the truck back to the Fresno location. However, we were moving close enough to be able to do that (Idaho). Kelly Valdez helped us through the whole process and was absolutely wonderful! She was knowledgeable and very friendly. Jeremiah Martinez was also very helpful throughout the whole process. The whole Enterprise team was awesome and friendly. When it was all said and done, we paid roughly $1500 for the rental, with gas we paid about $2100 to move from Fresno, CA to Boise, ID. There was a problem in the beginning. They took advantage of me and took more money then they should. They told me one thing and told my mother another. They told me to get more money that I wasn't aware of that my mom has already notified them of. They also gave me a huge truck when I normally drive a car and uses much more gas. I traded it in the next day for a car. Anna took care of the problems and was very nice. Only had the other car for a day and my car was fixed. Relief! They also took $100 from me originally and I found out they were only suppose to take $50. Come to find out they took $50 and then another withdrawal of $28.01. Thought that's what was suppose to be taken. My mother informed me nothing should have been taken out. They took full advantage! read more

I rented a car for a month going weekly to renew because of total loss on my truck. From my first encounter at the Pinedale center in fresno I had a great experience with Olivia. She worked hard to get me a car right away. Something the millburn and Herndon manager clearly didn't want to do. When I returned to renew at the pinedale centerTatyana was very pleasant and helpful. On my next visit the manager Marisa was not so pleasant. She kept repeating that they were basically breaking protocol for giving me the rate of my insurance since the insurance ceased paying and I was getting a special deal. What she didn't know is I had independently searched snd could have gotten $5 off daily at the same place. I just let it ride on insurance rates. But she made me feel like enterprise was doing me a favor for renting me a car. The opposite is true. I was spending over s 1000 a month to rent a small car. She had no understanding of customer etiquette that made a customer want to come back. But then my last visit to close out the rental I had the honor of Ethan helping me out. He was over the top kind snd expedient and helpful with a ride. Tatyana was there too and very kind. I was glad I didn't have to work with Marisa again though she was there. I recommend the Pinedale enterprise. Definitely NOT the millburn and Herndon one in fresno. read more

BYOPG - bring your own pressure gauge. It has been a while since I rented a car but today was the day. Ran into an old nemesis - low tire pressure. Since this location has a habit of not inflating the tires properly-I check the pressure when I pick up the car. The front passenger tire was around 20 psi - should be 35 psi - that is dangerously low. I find Enterprise's lack of ability to keep tires properly inflated concerning. My wife, son, and grand kids are heading out for a long road trip. Would the tire have failed? Maybe at high speed and the car could have spun out? Maybe on a busy freeway trying to put a temp spare on? Maybe in a remote area? Maybe in 100 degree heat? Maintaining proper tire inflation is a SIMPLE undertaking - why can't Enterprise manage it? We don't appreciate their lack of concern for our safety. Makes me wonder what else are they missing? Oil. Coolant, brakes, belts??? I am thinking this is the last time I will use this location - not site if others are any better or worse but I have lost confidence. read more

I took my rental back and left my sunglasses in the car. The next day I ask about my $300+ pair of glasses. Enterprise said they didn't find my sunglasses and rented the car already. So your telling me you loss or stole my glasses before renting the car out. Enterprise said they would check with the customer but in COVID times you think they would check everything before renting the car out. read more

I guess service depends on who you catch when you Rent-A-Car here. We rented a car from here three times now in the past year and have seen nothing but great service with the choice of vehicle we wanted. Though the last vehicle we rented wasn't totally clean but made it OK since we got it for such a great price. Nothing that a $15 carwash didn't take care of for a one-week rental. They have worked hard to meet my needs and are very concerned with making sure their customers are happy. I had to rent a car due to mine being in the shop. I think I spent about 10 minutes, at the most, picking up the car. Sean was great! Very efficient and professional. And nice on top of that. When I returned the car it was the same efficient service. I didn't get the gentleman's name that checked me in, but he was just as efficient. Needed to extend a week later and was greeted with a fragile ego when I questioned deposit return and new fees. Felt as though I was dealing with a shifty car salesperson the entire time. I have been extremely impressed with the customer service at this Enterprise location (Palm Bluffs). Both Steve and Hector have been very accommodating with any requests that I have. Hector, in particular, has been fantastic to work with. I was having a very bad day recently and was running behind getting to their office. I called Hector to explain what was going on and he agreed to stay and wait for me to arrive. He completely saved the day! He even had the car running and the seat warmers on when I got there (since it was a little cold that day). He is someone that goes above and beyond to take care of the customer! read more

I love this place, I have rented cars from here a few times and the experience has been great every time. I usually don't write reviews but when I saw the negative comment for this place I wanted to make sure I shared my experience. I walked in and was greeted promptly. My sales rep Karla, was very nice and informative. She showed me all the cars and rates she could offer. She explained all the insurance she could offer that would take my liability away. She brought the car out and after a short inspection, I was on my way. I thought the 25 minutes I spent while renting the car were more than reasonable. I don't expect to go rent a car worth $25,000 in 1 minute. read more
