Had a vehicle reserved for a month, got to store and they had no vehicle. Basically told by the manager that I was out of luck. Called corporate, they passed the situation off to the fleet manager and the regional manager; and told they would contact me within 30 minutes. 3 hours later I sit with no rental and no calls from any manager of any type. Save yourself a bunch of wasted time and frustration and rent anywhere but here. Absolutely zero customer service. Booked and confirmed a rental for pickup today. Arrived at the scheduled time to be told they "don't have any vehicles" but could move me down to a sub compact that looked like they pulled it out of the Elkhorn Creek this morning. While I understand that things will occasionally happen this is the 3rd time I've had to leave this location and drive to Lexington to get a rental. At least on the prior occasions the staff would book the new rental in Lexington for me, not today, no apology, no here let us help you get a rental at another location, nothing.... Just book at any other company in Lexington and save all the grief of dealing with this location. read more

Called on Friday to have them pick me up at 10am the following Monday. Waited for 30 min and no one showed. Got another ride to their office and they said I should have called. That's what I did on Friday... People were friendly. Just don't count on them picking you up. read more

I would give it a negative if I could. I have a confirmed reservation for a car to be picked up at 2pm on 12/11/2023 at this location. I called an hour before the scheduled pickup to let them know I'll be a few minutes early. I was then informed by Rep who answered the phone that there was not a single car in the lot despite my confirmed reservation with a notification that it's ready to be picked up from my app. She told me that the manager tried to call me at 10 am on my cellphone but that was a big LIE. There was no call and no recorded calls at all from this Georgetown, Ky enterprise car rental. I confirmed the cellphone number too. We were stranded trying to figure out how to get to Cvg to catch our flight. I was told over the phone that she's canceling my reservation. The worst experience with any car rental company. We had to use Enterprise because we were in a single car accident on I75 in Kentucky. Damn Harvey and his heavy rains.. Anyway, Our tow truck driver brought us to Enterprise and within minutes we were settled into an Audi Quatro, not their usual vehicle, but one that suited us perfectly for the drive home. Since it was being paid for through our insurance we didn't think it was going to be a problem.. the husband signed off on it. Today 9/20 - we found out that we owed extra for additional insurance on the vehicle, that my husband does not remember being told about. Caveat - it was just after the accident, It's possible, I'm not saying we weren't told. I am saying that he does not remember being told nor do I remember the gentleman telling him about the $38 a day for insurance on top of the car rental fee being paid by the insurance company. I was miss informed on the terms of the rental. When I questioned the additional charge, I was immediately told the vehicle would be reported stolen. I was hung up my the assistant manger, and called in to customer service 4 times over 2 weeks told I would get a call back from the branch or area manager. Didn't get a call until I left a bad review in google Fought all the way up to the area manger to be told that "enterprise didn't do anything wrong". I'm not one to complain, but I refuse to get threaten, hung up on, charge an extra $400 bucks, and told to pound sand all in the same transaction. I could have chalked the $400 up as a miss communication and called it a lost. But I refused to be straight disrespect and bullied by person or business. read more

I've used this Enterprise a couple times in the past year and always had a pleasant experience. Both times, my insurance paid for a car rental while I was getting my car fixed (well -- the first time, the car was fixed, the second time the car was totaled). The first time we used Enterprise, there was some kind of mix-up with our insurance and our rental reservation went to some Enterprise somewhere in Texas. Whaa? Don't know how that happened. The person was supposed to come pick us up from the body shop; after a long wait, we called and discovered the error. A new reservation had to be made. We were a tad annoyed, but they handled it well and soon someone came to pick us up in our rental (of their choice). The next time, the reservation went smoothly without an issue and I was able to select the vehicle I wanted. Bringing the vehicle back with a full tank of gas saves you money. Do that, instead of opting for bringing it back empty and paying for gas at their price. All staff here have been friendly. If I need to rent a vehicle again in this area, I'm coming here. read more

Not thrilled with product or customer service. I have started a job where I will be needing to rent cars on a fairly consistent basis. I reserved one and then picked it up with no issue. I was in a hurry so didn't pay much attention but I had an eight hour car ride that day I started looking around and it was filthy. Stains on the seats, backseat hadn't been vacuumed or hadn't been vacuumed well. I found a notebook from the prior renter under the seat. I took it in the next day, despite my reservation being a week and said I was turning it in early because I had noticed the car was really dirty and had been since I picked it up. The response was "okay". So there's that. I'll just be going to the lexington airport instead and using National. read more

I have never ever seen a business so unprofessional or mismanaged as the Enterprise car rental in Georgetown KY. I have been trying to get a car since Monday February 7th and I still don't have a car after mine was totaled in a hit and run situation. My car was parked and unoccupied,my insurance is paying for the rental but these people at Enterprise Georgetown have not even been answering thir phones today so I went there and they wanted for me to pay some stupid fee when my insurance had already taken care of it I highly recommend that if you need a rental drive anywhere to get it but don't use the Georgetown office. read more

Brand new car was hit in a parking lot, so needed a rental through the other persons insurance. Insurance company arranged for rental, when arrived at the Georgetown location, was told they had no cars (Thursday) - had to wait until Saturday morning to get a car. Agent did a walk around of the car and verbally noted several dings/scratches on the car (assumed he noted those on the paper work as the car had quite a bit of scratches and such). Went to return the car after repairs were made, and low and behold, they now claim I did those damages. Disputing the claim, but they already charged the credit card for a deductible. These folks need to get their act together and properly and consistently document damage instead passing the buck to the customer. Never again Enterprise. read more

These guys were amazing. We had an emergency come up during our vacation travels. Our personal truck broke down on us 300 miles from home. The crew at Enterprise met us at the dealership and brought us to their location, stayed open late just for us, and made us feel as if we were working with a company in our own back yard. They got us into a rental and we were on our way. They were accommodating, friendly, efficent and very helpful and sympathic to our situation. Im sure when our family looks back on this vacation years from now we will certainly remember our stop in Georgetown KY and the awesome staff at Enterprise. read more

i was told to bring in 2 pieces of mail to verify my address for my rental but they didn't specify what kind so I brought in the only 2 bills I get in the mail. the rest of my bills are paperless. one is car insurance and one is storage unit. the guy wouldn't accept these because they weren't utility bills. I told him my utilities are included in my rent. he wouldn't accept anything that I showed him even though my drivers license had that same address on it as the mail I brought in. he didn't try to help me at all with my dilemma and instead belittled me for not showing proof that met his standards. He asked me to pull up my car insurance account on my phone and I did then he told me my insurance wasn't good enough. He asked me to pull up my cell phone account and I did but he said that my carrier wasn't good enough. so in the end I wasnt able to rent a car to go home and visit my dad for a few days. terrible experience. read more

we were stuck in traffic on 75 suppose to have been picked up at whispering hills campground at noon on Sat 8/26/17 Finally got off HWY at 1:00 after several conversations with Ryan we made it to Enterprise at 1:06 he was so efficient got our car, paperwork and we were on our way. We had such a good experience we returned on 9/30 and found the same service we had received a few weeks back. Ryan needs to be recognized for his good customer service. read more

First they said low rate in phone and lured us to go with them.When I go there, they raised price. I had no option so, I agreed to rent. They seemed like giving good service when we I went to rent a car. Later when I returned the car, they again raised the price and make it about $50 expensive than what they told me during renting. First off, I want to say the ONLY reason I am giving them 2 stars is because of their associate Daniel. If it hadn't been for him, I would have given this place a big ZERO! Last week, my family and I found ourselves stranded in Kentucky while on vacation heading from Kansas to Virginia. After experiencing a blow out at 4am, crashing in a hotel for a few hours waiting for stuff to open and finding out no one for 50 miles had a new tire for us, we called Enterprise to rent a car for the rest of our trip. We were told we would have a sedan ready for us at 9:30am. (They couldn't pick us up because we didn't give them 24 hours notice.) When we arrived shortly after 9:30 we were told that they didn't have a car for us and "probably wouldn't have one until the afternoon." When I showed the associate our confirmation email he said that a call center person made that reservation and "they have no idea what our inventory is when they book those." Basically, I got the "It's not my fault" excuse! When I explained the situation we were in he miraculously found a car but said it was a smaller one and wasn't clean and since he was the only one working (on a Saturday morning) it would probably be a little bit until he could get to it. I told him we would take the car as is and he started the paperwork. I saw the sign for Sirrius radio and asked if he could throw that in for free for all the added stress and he looks at me, chuckles and said "I can't do that" with a smirk on his face. I have rented a lot of cars over the years and this was by far the WORST experience I have ever had!!! If this is truly how Enterprise runs their business (booking reservations without knowledge of inventory as this guy said) then I'm surprised they are still in business. Of course, this guy wasn't wearing tag but he was also one of the rudest people I have dealt with. Daniel was amazing though!! Very kind and understanding and offered to drive us to the tire store 20 miles away! (without 24 hours notice) Great customer service and again the only reason I gave this place any stars. read more

Rented an suv from enterprise on winchester Rd in Lexington ky in July 2015 for vacation to Virginia Beach. I think the lady that we delt with, her name was Emily. We got a fantastic rate! She was very nice, and made the process very simple and quick! Our rental was great!! 100% satisfied! Would recommend this enterprise to everyone. read more

I have rented from this location several time for work as well from many locations in Lexington, KY. The worst experiences I have had have been from this Georgetown location. Let's start with the good - The new location is fresh and clean, and inviting when you go in, staff is friendly. The bad - EVERYTIME I have rented from this location, my vehicle has smelled like smoke, causing a headache for days. I don't know if this is due to the staff smoking while "cleaning" out the car, previous clients, or just my luck of the draw. On top of this, I have had less than clean vehicles. For example, the steering wheel this last time was sticky, the seats were full of stains and the dash was full of dust. The cars have been embarrassing to drive. I do not recommend using this location, it is to bad because it is the most convenient for me - but seems like the cars are just lacking, but again the staff was friendly read more
