I have used the Gulf Breeze, FL location in the past but have NEVER had to try to call this office until now. I cannot get through no matter when I call. I wonder if they just take their phones off the hook as they are too busy to answer. when I was in this office the young man who helped me asked us, several times, to please wait while he answered the phone. Lady who checked us in was very rude and when we asked if we could look at any other cars she shot us down didn't give us any other options and left us with a car that had engine issues. Every time you start the car or the stop start was engaged the whole car would shake. And how dirty the car was and smelly, all the windows were dirty. Never wiped and questionable stains on the seats. I honestly will never use enterprise after this incident. read more

Enterprise tried to tell me that it's my fault that their door is unaligned in their car. I have not done anything that would have had the door to be unaligned in the car and they're trying to charge me with this. They also sent their email to my spam box where I didn't have access. as someone who works in a legal office who files claims reaching out to people via phone and email works and they didn't do that. As a member of the armed forces at Hurlburtfield I would tell all my brothers and sisters in arms to rent from Hertz instead of enterprise. I rented a car from enterprise north of Atlanta. I drove down to Pensacola and while down there my tire light came on. I stopped in unannounced at this location and within five minutes they topped off the pressure in my tires. They were happy to do it and made me feel very welcomed. read more

Made a reservation online for a truck. Went to pick up truck at scheduled time. No truck. Staff offered to drive us to Pensacola to pick up truck at another office. While I will admit my old phone number was in my profile and they said they tried to call, but they couldn't e plain why they didn't send an email (that hasn't changed). Not to mention they had literally days to get the proper inventory on-site. I was then offered an SUV which that was quickly nixed because they didn't have one on-site either. The only vehicle on-site was a compact car. NO THANKs! Preferred customer status means absolutely nothing so this office will not get my business. read more

The guy that helped me was attentive and helpful, however the first car that i was to be rented out had just been "cleaned" yet had food crumbs, hair and dirt all on the inside. I refused this car even after he told me he could have it cleaned again. I was shown another car and this one was more clean but unbeknownst to me the windshield wipers did not function properly and caused me to have to get off of the highway during my trip when it started raining causing me to be late for a funeral. To top it off, the car had noticeable dead bugs all over the whole front end and front windshield of the car even after being "cleaned" by their staff. The agents were nice but whoever is cleaning their cars sucks and because of that i will never go back to this location. At this location, the people tried to help me out and were very nice. I still hated the experience because: 1) It doesnt tell you online (or make it stand out obviously enough) to bring in a utility bill so I had to look it up online which took forever because they have slow computers 2) I asked for a certain car online, when they brought the car out it was something else but at this point I had been on the computer 20 minutes looking up a utility bill so I was running late and took it. It was a Fiat which was a shockingly crappy car 3) Online it didnt tell me there was a drop off fee of 90 bucks for dropping off the car at a different location 4) Online it said one price and in person I paid another. This was the worst enterprise I have ever been to. The workers there are scam artists. I went there with my boyfriend two weeks ago, and we spoke to an associate about a car and he gave us the price 164. The associate had told us because we are military he waived the young driver fee (which enterprise does). We look at the bill today as it was nearly 250. But of course we got the receipt through email and couldn't verify in shop and the sales man added the young driver fee. During our visit another salesman even congratulated him on bringing in the most money for their company. read more

My experience went from BAD to GREAT back to BAD. Initially I reserved an intermediate car, but had a free upgrade. Unfortunately they were unable to offer the upgrade and brought me a car full of sand and dirty. They were not going to clean it since the car cleaning crew was gone for the day (BAD). Fortunately a car returned pulled in and I was able to upgrade to a great car (GREAT)! Upon return, I dropped the car off the day prior when they were closed...but it was after 5 PM. Needless to say they charged me for the next full day without any adjustment to cost...they were closed the entire day I dropped it off (BAD). I won't rent from them and I highly recommend going to the airport...the staff will work with their customers. read more

I have used this location for a couple of years. Have had a couple of bad rentals smoker related, and the last was not so enjoyable. I was headed out of town for Christmas and picked up the car and within an hour of leaving the rental location the car smelled of cigarette smoke. I guess the burn hole in the driver's seat should have been a sign - did not notice until the first gas stop. I'm a non-smoker and traveling 8 hours home for Christmas and a week of driving with this smell was not enjoyable. Next time i will pay more attention before signing for the rental. read more

I believe that there are not enough positive reviews because we, as customers, expect things to go well as a rule! When they don't go as planned, we complain. But, when they do...! So, here's my story about a time when things didn't go well! Enterprise Car Rental (Gulf Breeze) loaned us a car through USAA. About 5-days after we got it, we discovered that the passenger-side front tire had a slow leak. It may have occurred after we picked it up; impossible to tell. Enterprise, without attempting to point blame, offered to replace it with another vehicle. So, I brought it in, but the only car available at the time was an SUV. The rental was for my wife, so, uncertain whether she would be able to drive this beast (I loved it), I drove it home. After one look, she confirmed my doubts. So, I called them and asked if we could re-rent the compact that had a slow leak, and was in for repair. Not only did they agree, but they fulfilled their promise to call me when it was ready that evening. The next morning, amid all the difficulties that come on a busy day, they transferred the rental agreement back to the original rental vehicle and I was on my way in probably less than 20-minutes! The Enterprise Car Rental office in Gulf Breeze doesn't just say they are a "Family Owned" business. They put meaning to it!! I just hope they like pizza!!! read more

After having a fender bender on the first day of our vacation, there were a lot of headaches, but working with the wonderful ladies at this Enterprise location was not one of them. They bent over backwards to help me and relieve some of the stress we were dealing with. They were prompt, professional, friendly and genuinely caring.
