I have rented from this location easily over a dozen times over the last six years. Sedans and SUVs. Each and every time the staff and the vehicle were great. My car was hit and so I rented a car from here..was explained about the $20 a day if the rental was hit but it was NOT said it was MY cost and now I've lost out on my deposit which is $100 after spending nearly $80 in gas because I was given the biggest car possible compared to my Ford. I did rent a vehicle from these guys once. You always have to use a major credit card and show them proof of age and your registration. But fortunately I had a coupon from my citi diamond preferred rewards credit card that gave me an extra 15% off my total rental, which turned out to be around 120 dollars for driving to Washington DC and back. The service was polite, the manager waited on me and was very courteous, but they kept trying to sell me accident insurance and all this other stuff. We ended up selecting a Dodge Durango SUV and we were able to fit everyone inside. Another thing I dont like is the wild crazy prices that are always in a state of flux. read more

I only gave it 1 star because I couldn't write the review without one!! The absolute WORST Customer Service I've ever experienced!!!! I made a reservation back in OCTOBER for a ""7"" passenger vehicle to be picked up on 12/16/22. The DAY AND TIME OF PICK UP I call the location because I am running late and want to be courteous and let them know because I obviously still need the rental. Agent answers and assures me everything is ok they have my rental waiting and I explained I'd be there ASAP agent says "no problem,see you when you arrive"!! """""10""""" minutes after we hang up,I receive a VOICED from the SAME AGENT telling me "unfortunately we do not have the size vehicle you requested because they are hard to come by"! I am livid because (1) YOU just spoke with me and assured me it was there (2 )you waited until the day of pick up to tell me the rental I reserved OVER A MONTH AGO is not available!!! I requested time off work for this trip as did my sons and my fiancée not to mention my other children are aware of our plans to travel and the trip is a birthday gift for my youngest daughter!!! Agent apologizes and says I can get you transferred over to the local airport because they have these size vehicles available,AFTER he asked me if it's ok to rent a ""5"" passenger vehicle((so I guess 2 of my travelers are going in the trunk))?? I made him clarify that my ENTIRE reservation,costs and any fees,would also be completely honored as this is THEIR issue not mine!! He again assured me that "Yes ma'am,they will honor your entire reservation fees and costs not a problem". Well guess what......they did NOT honor anything!! Needless to say I now have to wait for someone from their management team to return my call as to which Agent #2 says "Oh they're very swamped so I'm not sure how long it will take for them to return your call"!!! Do NOT rent a vehicle from here!!! Terrible customer service. They told me a vehicle was not available and that they would follow up. I had to call them 4 times and FINALLY 5 minutes before they closed I was told they couldn't complete my reservation. I wasn't able to get a different reservations due to the late response. I made an appointment with Enterprise on Mountain Rd. Harrisburg to be picked up at a near by body shop at one a clock. At about one fifteen i asked the receptionist if the were normally on time and she said that she would call them because the body shop used them often. She was told they were on their way, which is about eight minutes from the location. The body shop manager walked past and was surprised to see me still sitting there at one fifty and called again, again on their way. I was finally picked up around two ten, the girl offered me no apology or explanation as to the delay. Since the rental was arranged by a second party 's insurance .com and I wasn't feeling well, I just did my paperwork and left. Was surprised to walk into the rental office and find it with six employees, many not doing a thing! read more

I recently rented a car through Hoffman Ford - my car was having work done & they didn't have the part, so the rental was free as part of my warranty. The car provided by Enterprise was an Explorer (bigger than my Escape, but it ran well - no problems there). The person I dealt with was very polite - no problems there. The only complaint I would give is that their policy of just paying for the gas in the car was confusing to me. The way I understood it was that I would only have to pay for the gas I used. That seemed reasonable. But, no. I ended up paying for almost a half tank of gas I didn't use! If I had known that I was supposed to return the car empty, I wouldn't have agreed to that. I probably only used 5 gallons at the most (just running to work a couple of days). But that wasn't the way it was explained. Lesson learned. read more

After a fairly difficult and tedious process, where our insurance had to get involved in our behalf, enterprise admitted that tithe vehicle had previous issues with the missing piece. They refunded the $500, but offered no apology, no additional discount. read more

I rented a car from this location and have used them in the past. The most recent rental I felt like I was scammed. I went in and didn't have my confirmation pulled up on my phone so I didn't have a reference in the moment. The customer service rep asked if I wanted basic or full coverage. I replied with basic thinking that was me using my own insurance. He gave me the price and I thought it was higher than what I had on my confirmation. I checked it when I got home and he had got me to agree to insurance without my knowledge! It was so sneaky and I have never had that happen renting from enterprise!!! EVER!! I am so disappointed with them. They did fix it but still charged me for a day of insurance and i had not even had the car for 24 hours when I went (also taking time out of my work day) in! I believe I will talk to management when I return the car. read more

Thursday & Enterprise gave us conformation number, Tuesday called at 8 AM to confirm, we were told it was ready by 11 AM, we got there between 11:30 - 12:00. No car, we were told 3 cars were wrecked the day before, the agent had an uncaring attitude, and blamed us for calling the call center. We were told the local office has to verbally report to the district manager. HE WILL NOTIFY THE CALL CENTER. We called the district manger to make him aware of the problem, we got the same unprofessional attitude as we did from the person on Paxton St Harrisburg PA. We are both professional people, both of us lost most of the day. Drove 2 hours round trip, and no apology, just a lot of half baked excuses. IT IS SAD AFTER NEARLY 30 YEARS OF GOOD SERVICE TO SEE A COMPANY RUN INTO THE GROUND BY A FEW UNCARING & IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE. read more
