    I was afraid of going here due to the bad reviews. I went last week to get a rental and I must say Jose the man in the front was really friendly, nice, and had a lot of knowledge. It was Thursday and they still had good choices and Jose made sure I got to see a few options. I was in and out pretty fast. I then had Shawn (I hope I got his name correct) take me to look at the rentals, he was also really helpful and explained all the prices he even answered some questions I had in regards to luxury cars. The four stars are for the two employees and the great options I was given. The only issue is the car is not super clean on the outside but that's an easy fix. They're still in this area but not by Gosh they moved closer to the entrance on the right side of all the car sale lots.

    I had a great experience with this car rental co.. I met with ed when I reserved a 2018 ford 150. Good customer service and very informative about the prices & deposit. So I used the vehicle for a family trip & there were no issues with it at all.. I returned the vehicle back a week later & did the final check out with Ben, who was also helpful & courteous. Thank you.

    Nasty food crumbs all over the interior!

I don't know how long he had been helping him before we got there, but it took him another 30 minutes. He averaged about 30 minutes per customer. This was especially frustrating because there was another employee, but even though there was a store full of people all he seemed to be doing was walk around. Not once did he stop to help to clear people out. It was obvious that he was more than capable of helping people because the guy who was doing everything kept asking him questions. It took us about 2 hours and we left with a Buick Encore... its basically the size of a clown car. So much for being promised a larger vehicle. This place needs more employees and more vehicles. It should not take 2 hours to rent a car.

I reluctantly booked a 7 passenger SUV and waited in trepidation as my pick-up date approached. Don't know if the management changed recently or if every prior disgruntled customer this location ever served banded together to burn their Yelp page down, but my experience was BETTER than any of the airports I recently rented from. I was in and out in less than 10 mins. The walk around on the vehicle was already completed and I only had to review the pictures they took. The car was pretty much brand new (1500 miles on the odometer) and was a full size 7 seater and not a 5 seater that got "stretched" into the larger vehicle category. My experience here doesn't invalidate any other reviews but we all should keep in mind that a place with mixed reviews could easily be because of the tendency of people to bias towards the negative rather than giving praise for a job well done. In this case, for me, Hertz in Hemet did a job well done!

If you prayed for someone to help you when your in between a rock and a hard place he's your man with a price lower than anyone else in the county. Rest easy that whatever your problem he won't try to upsell you anything you won't need. When he replaced the rear axle on my truck with a salvage part he gave me a one year warranty and at 10 months it locked up and he said no problem and replaced it within a week and didn't charge me a dime. Only a man of integrity would do that. He's more than just reliable, he's a friend. If anyone says anything negative about Frank I would question their motives as he has bent over backwards for me and my whole family with multiple vehicles over the years.

    On March 5th, 2025, I had Frank remove and replace the motor in my Hyundai Sonata. At that time, I…read morehad no issues with his service. Before he began the work, I gave him a list of specific components not to touch because I had already replaced them myself while troubleshooting the engine problem. One of the items I clearly told him not to replace was the engine oil cooler I had already installed a new one. When I picked up the car after the motor replacement, he gave me a breakdown of everything he had done. One of the things he mentioned replacing was the oil cooler. I asked, "Why did you replace it when I specifically told you I already had?" To this day, I still don't know why he replaced it. I was concerned because I didn't want to pay for a part I had already installed, but he didn't charge me extra, so I moved on. Fast forward to July 15th: my daughter noticed the car was leaking oil. I called Frank, he looked at it, and after getting the car back I had no issues. Fast forward to August 29th: I noticed the car was leaking coolant. When I opened the hood, I saw that one of the coolant lines connected to the oil cooler had a severe bend in it. I called Frank, and he recommended that I buy an inner support spring for the hose. He didn't offer to fix the line himself he simply told me to take care of it. Fast forward to October 13th: the car started leaking again. I called Frank, I had the car towed for the third time, and got it back with no issues. Fast forward to November 6th: the car began leaking oil worse than ever. I tried calling my insurance, but they wouldn't tow it because I had used all three of my free tows for the year. Frank sent his tow service and said he'd work on it on Wednesday, November 12th. By Friday the 14th, I still hadn't heard from him, so I called to ask if he had found the problem. He said, "Yes, it's the engine oil cooler leaking." I replied, "Didn't you replace that the last time you worked on it?" I later called the dealership and found out that replacing the oil cooler runs about $1,000, which made me question whether he simply didn't want to deal with the cost of repairing it under warranty. When I got the car back, I inspected the oil cooler O-ring gasket myself, since that's where the leak was coming from. Sure enough, the O-ring was crushed and cracked in multiple places. I called the dealership parts department to confirm the torque spec for the bolt that secures the oil cooler. They told me it should be tightened to 32-39 ft-lbs. I asked whether over-torquing could crush the O-ring, and they said yes. I found a replacement o-ring on Amazon for $26. Replaced it today. Drove car, performed leak test and it passed. Based on everything I've observed and the information I've gathered, I believe this situation amounts to maintenance malpractice. Frank is a good guy, but with everything that has happened to my car this year, I would strongly recommend not taking a vehicle to him. After him fixing my motor, there has been no issues with the motor. It's sad to say but I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Not one apology for the delay or extra charges until we mentioned it!!!!!! While they had our car, we were even told that a part was lost during shipment!! Followed by "have a nice weekend!" Really??? How can we KNOW that the part was really lost??? So after 30 days of waiting, which included 3 FAILED PROMISES of the car being ready, and being told "we're closed on the weekends", which meant more days of RENTING CARS, when asking them for simple consideration of the more than DOUBLE THE INITIAL ESTIMATED COSTS, (our bill went from $650+ to $1600+) and ONE MONTH of rental cars, LOST PARTS, etc, we were greeted with a $150 "discount". When asking to have the contact info of the owner, we were given the same business card and not until I asked for the specific contact info, only then were we given her "extension number". It is amazing that this business has any customers, and as a FORMER REPEAT CUSTOMER, I can say that you have just lost another one.
