I was afraid of going here due to the bad reviews. I went last week to get a rental and I must say Jose the man in the front was really friendly, nice, and had a lot of knowledge. It was Thursday and they still had good choices and Jose made sure I got to see a few options. I was in and out pretty fast. I then had Shawn (I hope I got his name correct) take me to look at the rentals, he was also really helpful and explained all the prices he even answered some questions I had in regards to luxury cars. The four stars are for the two employees and the great options I was given. The only issue is the car is not super clean on the outside but that's an easy fix. After switching from Hertz right across the street from Enterprise I thought I would get much better Corporate Service on Rental, customer service. Wow, Was I wrong! What a NIGHTMARE Enterprise has made things for my Company and Clients! On 1/29/2018 I was scheduled for 3 Service calls In San Diego area. 1.5 hrs drive from our office. I was requested to come into Enterprise office to renew our contract on a Rental we have had for 3 Months due to an Accident with our Corporate service truck. When I arrive, they lower a BOOM stating the car has been pulled and I must switch out to another vehicle! Mind you, its 9:30 AM. The vehicle I am in is Packed with my service tools, ladders, etc. and I have 3 Priority service calls in San Diego area! I was livid! This is NOT ONLY UNPROFESSIONAL, IT IS FLAGRANT DISREGARD for a Corporate Client and should be help Legally Liable for damages! If it was possible I would give no stars at all. We had a very bad experience today trying to pick up the van we ordered to rent. Worst customer service, and I'm very understanding due to being in customer service for a while. We called in this morning to make sure it is ready to be picked up, but told us that it wasn't ready because it was getting cleaned and it pick it up at 11 AM. When we got there, we didn't get the van we ordered as well as there was this stench and was still dirty. The store was very packed and we assumed it would be a long wait. We understand due to COVID that people must wait outside for their safety. But it was very hot day and no one came to assist us at anytime. I reserved a full size sedan and was told after 2 and a half hours of waiting that there was not one available. I could check back tomorrow but they could not guaranty that the car I reserved would be available even then. They charged me over $300 for insurance on the car too. Last year when I rented from Perris location I only paid $100 for insurance for the same length of time. The car is filthy inside. They said they cleaned it but all they did was spray some water on the outside of the car. I am disabled so I am going to have to get someone to clean the inside for me. I arrived yesterday (Monday) to pick up a car since my car was goi g to be in the shop. Amaray at Gosch Ford service department was amazing with me and set me up to have my car worked on. Knowing it would be several days, she put in the reservation at Enterprise. I showed up first thing on a Monday and Ashley, the manager was so gracious and happy to start a very busy day. Kevin helped me pick out the perfect vehicle for me too. This place got so busy so fast and I have never seen a manager stay calm and professional throughout the CHAOS as well as Ashley did. Kevin ran back and forth getting people in their rental and back on road and he kept a smile on and was so pleasant. Some people in there were complaining and not noticing how hard these people were working to get everyone taken care of timely. My girlfriend rented a car here on the 28th to October 6th. When she returned the car it had a nick on the windshield from a thrown rock. They charged her $500.00 for the nick. It could be repaired for less than $100.00. It was not her fault but they said it was. When the car was left they refused to take her home. Leaving her stranded. I talked to Katie the manager and she affirmed all this. I asked her what they would charge if a tree fell on the car. She wouldn't answer. I asked her why they didn't pick up the car at her home and she wouldn't answer, This is no way to run a business. If you want to rent a car don't go to this place. The vehicle they were going to put me in was a midsize impala, I refused that car and told them my reservation was for a midsize SUV. I've been wanting to write a review for the place since an incident that happened to me in early November, but haven't had a chance to write one until now: I had reserved a car for a trip to Vegas for the weekend. I arrived 15 minutes later than my scheduled pick up time (12:15pm), not knowing that they close at noon on the weekend (which is my bad). As I'm walking up to the door, the ASIAN FEMALE who had just given away a car to another customer, comes up to me with a weird look and asks, "Are you here to pick up a car?" to which I reply, "Yes, I have a reservation, I was running late because of traffic, but I'm here to pick it up!". And she says to me, "Well, I don't think we have any cars left." I go inside, and there is a WHITE FEMALE at the counter who looks up my info on the computer and tells me with attitude, "You were scheduled to come in at noon, and you weren't here so we gave your car away", which is when I expressed how I thought they closed at 6pm (SINCE I'VE GONE TO THEM THE PREVIOUS TWO TIMES TO RENT A CAR), and she told me that it was only on weekdays, on weekends they close at noon, *bitchy look*. I told her very politely, yeah, that's my mistake, because I didn't double check your hours, but YOU COULDN'T CALL ME TO SEE IF I WAS COMING IN OR NOT BEFORE GIVING MY CAR AWAY?! I asked them if they knew of any places around that would be open to rent cars, and they told me, "Probably nowhere, your best bet would be to go to an airport." And that was it. No apologies, no concern for ME (a loyal customer), and no help! Basically, these two b!tches didn't care that they screwed me over, and they wanted me out of the office, since they were done for the day. Maybe if these workers had shown the tiniest hint of concern, or even made an endeavor to help me, I would not be so angry with them. This just proves to me that Enterprise does not care for their customers, and they are okay with screwing people over. I do not agree with that. I'm NEVER one to say "No matter what, the customer is always right!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH", trust me, I've worked in retail, I know how bitchy customers can be, and I have even suffered abuse from it---I am not one of them. I'm always polite, and NEVER give attitude, even if the customer/worker is giving ME one. Because of this incident, I will NEVER come back here again, and I do not recommend anyone to go here. I used to hear bad reviews about Enterprise, and I would be like, what? They've always been okay when I rented cars from them (the past two times), but I guess those are RARE occasions. Was in a small accident and had to rent a car here in Hemet. Went through the insurance and was set up with enterprise rentals. After waiting for someone to pick us up we were informed the drivers were understaffed and they wouldn't be there for 'a while '. We drove down to carriage circle to the agency. After waiting 20 minutes we finally were able to talk to Ben. We were assured there was a car available within the insurance limits . Ben answered the telephone 4 times while I was waiting to take care of other customers. After all this we were told all they had was an suv for $15 a day more than our insurance allowed. Very disappointed. I made a reservation for a truck at their E Hemet location. I received a confirmation email saying my truck will be ready and when I showed up at the location it was closed do to COVID. I understand that due to COVID we are operating a little different but at no point was I notified that this location was closed. When I called Enterprise and spoke to Katlyn I was informed that the only location open was at the Ford dealership 6 miles away. (I have no car and now I'm supposed to get 6 miles across town in 100* heat.) I was also informed that the truck I reserved was given away and all the have is a small SUV available. I need a truck that's why I reserved a truck. I have now finally arrived at the open enterprise location and there is a huge line. I'm writing this review from line so I'm soon going to find out how the staff here plans on helping me with this situation. Well I spoke to Katlyn again and it looks like I will not be leaving with a truck. I walked across town and basically I'm the dumb one for not knowing there East Hemet location was closed and now I'm SOL. If you can rent from someone else I recommend going that route. Please, do yourself a favor, and DON'T RENT FROM ENTERPRISE! They will try and get you to pay for damages to a car that you didn't do!! Take pictures before you drive and after you drive, get the original copy back after you return the car and stand your ground! I won't get into the long story but we had no choice to rent from Enterprise (AZ location) because they were the only ones open on Sunday. For a basic car (Hyundai Accent) to go from Phoenix to Hemet one way they charged $220 bucks!!! CRAZY! The customer service at this location was horrible. Woman with the blonde hair....yeah she's on a power trip. And honestly has no customer service skills and she probably shouldn't be in customer service. And thanks to her, I'm writing this review and will NEVER come to Enterprise again. Especially with how AWESOME Hertz is every time. Only reason for 1 star is the claims dept in Colorado (nothing to do with this location) called and told me how sorry they were we received a claim against us and it was their error and we didn't do any damage to the car. Tyler was very nice and helpful. Doing his job! Please, Enterprise, put your customer service agents back in training ASAP. I walked in, started my reservation, had to walk to my vehicle to get my mortgage statement as proof of residence, and they didnt even acknowledge me when I returned (less than 30 second to get statement). They began helping other people-- all of whom arrived after I did with not so much as a, "Sorry for the wait" nor a "We will be right with you." I waited a bit longer and still nothing. There's nothing more frustrating than waiting in line while customer service reps do paperwork... The downside of my experience with this location was that I wasn't able to use any of the specials that I receive in my e-mail as an Enterprise Plus member.
