They take your money for the car booking, tell you they have a car available, and then when you go to pick it up, they tell you they don't have the car you reserved because they expected for someone to return the car you needed. I'm writing this on behalf of my mother, who had a very upsetting experience with an employee named Eileen at Enterprise. Eileen refused to provide service and claimed my mother was being rude -- but that simply wasn't true. My mom remained calm and respectful throughout the interaction, while Eileen was the one who acted unprofessionally and dismissively. The way Eileen treated her felt discriminatory and completely out of line for someone in a customer service role. No one deserves to be falsely accused or treated with bias, especially when they've done nothing wrong. This experience was not only frustrating -- it was deeply disappointing. COUNTING: This is the 3rd time in a year, they've done this to me. I made a rsvp a week ahead for pickup today at 10 am. I took lyft and got their ont ime. I had to wait on a long line, finally fot to the registered. Then again their famous quote "I'm sorry to inform you it will be a bit of wait, about an hour." I ask the guy I came in lft and I need to be at an appointment at 11. I asked him if he have someone drop me back home and I'd pickup after later. He said no. This is unacceptable because they have my rsvp a week ahead. So if on the day they run behind, they need to call customers and let them know to come a bit later. I am sick and tired of this location. Please read my review before considering renting here. We showed up at 3:30 when our reservation time was 4:30. We asked them if they could help us now or if we should come back at our assigned time. They said they could help us now. I was there with my wife and two children. They informed us they did not have the vehicle we rented available at the time and would put us in a minivan if that was ok with us. That's ok. We waited an hour from the time we arrived and at 4:37 they put us in a minivan. I put my children in the van when Michael, the assistant branch manager, came up to us and said they had the car we actually rented available now. We had already signed the documents for the van. I told him we were happy with the van but he insisted we get out of the van or there would be an up charge since this isnt the vehicle we rented. At this point I'm upset because we had already been waiting over an hour. I asked him how long it would take because we had already been there over and hour and it was past our reservation time. Michael stated "Well your reservation wasn't until 4:30 so..." as if they hadn't told us they could assist us at 3:30. Not to mention it was already 4:37 and you're taking me out of a vehicle I'm happy with to put me in one that was not ready at my reservation time. Michael said 5-10 minutes to get the car cleaned and sanitized. It took over 40 minutes to get the car ready so now we're almost an hour past our reservation time and two hours since we arrived. The car was in rough shape but we didn't realize it until we got home because the parking garage at this location was dark. All seats heavily stained, food crumbs in the car, the read bumper was popping off on one corner and dents all over. I called them and told them I was upset and wanted to exchange the car but they were about to close so I told them my wife would have to come back the next day in the afternoon to do the exchange. I'm a first responder and I was on shift for a full 24 hours. My wife had a work function in the afternoon and could not return the vehicle so I had to take time off of work in the morning to go do the exchange. Michael was there in the morning and when I showed up he said "We weren't expecting you until this afternoon, I don't have any vehicles available". I explained to him this was the only time I could do the exchange because I am working, and my wife couldn't make it in the afternoon. He told me he would comp one day off of our rental agreement. I didn't have any other choice, I said OK, and went to go drop off the rental car to my wife. On the way to her job, which was less than four minutes away from enterprise I was cut off and went to honk the horn and the horn did not work. I tried multiple times and pushed the horn as hard as I could, it did not work. It is illegal to drive a vehicle in the state of Florida without a functioning horn. It's also an obvious safety hazard and Michael forced my family out of a vehicle that we were happy with, and into one that was illegal to be on the road. This is a vehicle they supposedly had inspected prior to releasing it to us. I called Michael back and told him about the horn and told him that it is illegal to drive in the state of Florida with this car. He told me that in the 10 minutes it took from the time I left Enterprise and made the phone call to him that somebody had dropped off a minivan. He's stating that coincidentally, somebody had returned a minivan in that short time. I arrived within five minutes, and the van was already set to go. It took him over 40 minutes to clean and sanitize the car they rented to me the day before but somehow this van was already parked and ready to go within five minutes. He said he would still comp us for the day and that I did not have to return the vehicle full of gas. I checked my bank account today and noticed I was charged for all three days of the rental, and what appears to be gasoline as well. Michael was not helpful and not even apologetic for putting us in a vehicle that was a safety hazard. I also feel lied to. I do not believe they received a minivan within 10 minutes of me leaving enterprise, and there was nobody else inside that branch except myself at that time. I have parking receipts as proof showing the time I arrived the first time and when I arrived to exchange the vehicle with a broken horn. I believe Michael lied to me because he was unwilling to rectify the issue that he created. I had to go to Enterprise 3 times and burn 5 hours of my leave time at work to get in to an appropriate vehicle. I have never had this happen to me and probably will never rent from enterprise again. read more

We came here with no reservations but got lucky on a Saturday packed morning. Staff here is super quick and we so appreciated this on our last minute trip. Now when we first walked in we were in a rush (our fault) and they told us they would have a vehicle for us in about an hour. We told them we would check the other rental place down the street to compare and come back if anything. Meanwhile they did take my ID real quick just in case. Went down the street to the other rental and let's just say that was a big mistake. We found ourselves right back here where we originally started. As soon as we walked in they greeted us again by name and said they had a car already available...what?!!! that was perfect. All the paperwork and questions were simple and easy. Megan walked us out to go over the rules and what not. Signed all that and showed them my full coverage insurance (so no need to purchase theirs) and we were off in no time. We returned the car early Monday morning and after a quick check up and last signature we were out in less then 10 minutes. We called to try and exchange a vehicle we had rented while on vacation. The girl that answered told us they had something for us and took our number and said they would call when it was cleaned. 2 hours later, we called back, and the same girl said they had a van and then hung up on us. We assumed it was a dropped call, so we went to the store in person to see what was going on. The man we talked to rudely told us "no one called us, none of us talked to you and we have nothing for you", even though we were able to say the vehicles that were available because the girl told us on the phone. She was standing right there and acted like she couldn't hear our conversation. Basically a big waste of our time. I'm sure the girl didn't realize the van was spoken for already, but she could have spoken up and said she made a mistake, instead of having the manager raise his voice at us and act like we were liars when we were told on the phone there was a car available and we could get it soon. If I could leave no stars I would. Active duty military on orders in the area, unfortunately my car suffered a leak and I need a car for a few days. Made a reservation at the homestead branch on Mowry, went to pick up and complete the reservation and was told I could not rent a car as my license was expired. However, I am active duty, on orders and my license remains in effect while on active duty until 60 days after separation with my home state. I have never had any issues renting prior to this and the assistant manager, Michael Guerrero, was rude and dismissive, with a lack of the companies own policy regarding this. My credit card, license and active duty military were presented and they continued to state they have no proof I am active duty. I even offered a copy of my orders, to no avail. Now I am stuck in this area without reliable transportation till Wednesday. I have rented from this location many times in the past and had a good experience. I made my reservation in Feb 9 2022. I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle 5/26/22 at 9 AM. I called the day before to confirm the reservation and spoke to Ana who reassured me that the vehicle will be available and ready. I received a text at 8AM basically stating that there is a delay in acquiring the vehicle and to call if you have any questions. I called and spoke to Ana again which was not helpful she stated that they had no cars available and they would call me. How can a company be so irresponsible. If cars are not available then don't allow reservations. This is unacceptable. This ruined our plans and cost me a lot of money. It's now 2 PM in the afternoon and Im still waiting for that call. I tried for 45 minutes that I was going to be 15 minutes late for my car pick up. No one ever answered. I spoke with customer service at corporate. They could not get through either. I have travel around the world even islands considered in the third world country but I got the worst customer service ever. First, they treat you like one of the locals. We went scubadiving the next day and knew we were going to be late returning the car, so annay helped us out by waiving the late fee. We did not book ahead of time. They were wonderful, went through every detail about how it worked when it went through insurance, any and all others steps I need to take and how to keep in touch while my car is repaired. Brandon even took the time to get me a truck as I just don't feel safe behind the wheel of a small car after yesterdays accident. If I could give zero stars I would. Their service is horrible, rude, and extremely unprofessional. We called ahead of time and they told us that the car would be ready for an SUV an hour later. When we arrived, they told us we were only allowed a Toyota Corolla (NOT an SUV) and then they were trying to force us to purchase their insurance even though we have GEICO with full and rental coverage. They keep telling us we cannot take the car without the additional $19 a day. I have never been in an accident and it is the first time I am using a rental company.
