I've been disputing this charge since November and just wasted my time making a fourth visit to Enterprise. The manager flat-out refuses to issue my refund. The so-called customer service number provided through this review is a complete joke--I called and emailed on December 11th and, unsurprisingly, never heard back. We have reservation for rental car with confirmation. They told us no car to fulfill the reservation. What upset me more is they didn't call us at all. If my husband didn't call them before we head out we would have wasted a trip. They don't have sympathy for anyone. Because it is not their family who needs car for spring break road trip. Just plain bad business! Lisa, you responded my review by trying to justify this mess. You used "open ended reservation " as business nature, which to me is an excuse. If you can't fulfill your reservation, why you confirm this reservation. If you don't have inventory why you don't contact customer? Everything is excuses. You know what I think is the truth? The WORST customer service and employees work here. Was directed by HR to visit this location because they had my car, which they didn't. I also had to Uber here so cost me $20 just to get to location. Lastly the tall white male and her associate( black male) Made comments that should never be heard by customers or bystanders. I don't know why people go to places that have one or two stars because you are definitely going to get the terrible service that has been reported. I came here to pick up a rental car because a Houston driver rear ended me so through no fault of my own I needed this rental. Please make note that I just rented from an excellent Enterprise in December in the exact same way that I tried to get a rental here. I gave them my debit card and I gave them my license and insurance. Kevin said a debit card would be fine, but I had to have an in-state license, I have one from Arizona. Kevin said he wouldn't mind using a debit card if my license was from TX. The reason mediocre Kevin (who left a message for me a week ago and completely left out one number in the phone number he left me, who does that? lol) ldecided not to rent a car to me is because I told him that I liked living in Arizona better than Texas and they take offense to that 'round here and use their power against people who are not die hard Texas freaks. I'm not, and it's precisely for things like this. Kevin needs to lose his job because he believes his customers should love Texas and not because they give the company money. He also used a trite religious phrase that I take offense to as I'm not religious and especially because he didn't treat me like I would expect a Christian to treat me. I had planned to use Caliber collision for car repair. I had an appointment schedule with them for a month and at the same time scheduled with Enterprise for a rental. This is via Farmers Insurance. Today I arrived at my scheduled appointment a few minutes early. Checked in my car and they called Enterprise for the pickup. Waited a bit but nothing that unreasonable. When I arrived at the rental location I waited for a bit. There where already two ladies there waiting too. After a bit the lady complained to the employee that she had already waited for 1.5 hours. He tells her it will be at least another hour and proceeds to tell me it will be at least another hour wait. They where trying to locate a vehicle for me. I tried to get some confirmations that it wouldnt be longer but he couldnt give me that and couldnt even guarantee I would get a car but I should. At that time I just asked to be taken back to the repair shop so I could get my car. I can't wait for hours for something that may or may not happen. How is it possible for Enterprise to care so little for its customers. Why isnt the car there when I already had a reservation for such a long time. But more importantly why wasnt I told that I would have to wait BEFORE I arrived. Does Enterprise not have phones? Why is Enterprise not communicating with its customers? Why are we not important enough, why did Enterprise waist hours of my time today? I will now how to find another repair shop since this one is busy until June, I will not waste another month. I will do my best to communicate your horrible service to as many people and outlets I can find that will listen. Frankly, your service sucks and you should be ashamed. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could to the Silber location. My brother went in last week and a guy that worked there told him that they always have plenty of cars just come in when you are ready to rent the car. He asked the man what rate he could get for the least expensive car and was quoted 39.99 a day. Nice guy, very friendly. Today we walk in to get the car described by employee of that location and SUPRISE we were in the twilight zone. The woman sitting at the front desk was dismissive, and questioning us like she was a detective. Determined to invalidate what her coworker told us. Basically making it clear that she was too busy to attend to us. Realizing that this character just did not care to help, We left. We went to the Enterprise at 11625 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079 and were given incredible care. The vehicle that we rented was 36.99 per day. Three things to remember for a better outcome.; When you call the location that you google, the call is routed to a central phone bank, not the particular location. Make sure you obtain a reservation via the central number. Do not trust a walk in conversation with staff because the difference in how we were treated at one location verses another is very different. read more

Service is horrible here. This place added an extra charge of $494 after the fact. I had asked if my daughter would be covered if she needed to drive the car. They said "oh yeah she's covered" She never drove the car though. So they charged me this 18 days after I turned the car in. I would have never added her for a charge. Jeffery the very rude branch manager told me there is no one higher than him that I can talk to at Enterprise. I contacted customer service and they told me to get a hold of the area Manager. I called Jeffery back to get that phone number and He refuses to give me that number. Says he'll have him call me. ( I've been waiting over an hour). He also places you on hold for long periods of time without telling you. If you go here pay attention they will try to scam you. They also gave me the car almost empty on gas. Luckily I took a picture of the gauge when I picked it up. Because they were going to change me for that had I not taken a picture. This is still unresolved due to not being able to get a hold of anyone. I will update when they resolve this. This branch manager Jeffery never could answer questions when asked. He would always have to check with someone first. Just very unprofessional. Edit: Just spoke with State Farm's, they are trying to help but they said this is not the first time they've tried this. They may say that's between us now. It's just them trying to scam for more money. Beware people!! Edit: I just emailed David from the Yelp response I received, maybe he will help me. I also tried to get a copy of the emails that Jeffery said he sent. He said those are unavailable. And still refuses to give me any kind of contact information to the area Manager. Service is awful. Takes 20 mins for them to come outside and even then they tell you another 15 even with a reservation. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. read more
