My dad brought my truck up here and had a reservation for a rental here to get back home. My father never knew that they only accepted credit card and not debit or cash and wouldn't accept tap and card-less payment and it never had the option to pay online due to "policy". they totally voided the reservation leaving my father stranded here Jacksonville. Never in a million years would I ever expect a place to decline the most basic form of payment such as a debit card or cash. The customer service was also pretty rude towards my father also. highly disappointed in this company and will advise to not bring your business to them. luckily we were able to get him on a flight to GA 12 hours later. read more

We had to rent a vehicle because our grandson was in an MVA. Thankfully, he is fine. I believe in complimenting those who do their job well, LaQua at the Marine Blvd. location in Jacksonville, NC, was absolutely the calmest and most professional rental agent that I have ever experienced. The entire rental office was in disarray due to construction and he was alone. He took his time with each renter and all of us were able to drive away with our cars in a timely manner. He deserves a pat on the back and a " job well done" acknowledgment. I hope to see him when we return the car because of his genuine kindness and professional performance! While the workers are nice, the service is incredibly slow... was with my kids and they were going nuts because they were bored. There were 7 customers and three people working there. Not too busy. Idk if it's a North Carolina thing where it's culturally acceptable for service to be slow but it's irritating. read more

Visiting my niece from San Diego, Ca. We picked up the original rental car from Raleigh airport and drove to Jacksonville. We have been here for about a day and we're headed out on the 172 for some sight seeing when we received a lost tire pressure notification. The tire blew. After calling Enterprise for options we found our way to this location. Blake was awesome and personally called the Raleigh location to switch out cars. Melissa checked in on us to make sure we were being taken care of. And another woman working at this location, I didn't catch her name, was awesome as well. Overall fantastic customer service. Quick and easy switch out. Within 8 min we were back out on the road exploring and sight seeing. Thank you friends for taken good care of us. read more

I called and tried to reserve a vehicle and was told i would get a call back to show me the availability. I never got a call back all weekend. Then i schedule an appointment on Sunday evening for 10am on Monday. I show up at 9am and sit for hours past my appointment. As i watched 3-4 people leave that got there after me. Enterprise employees are nice but the way business is conducted is terrible, i would spend your hard earned money somewhere else. read more

Rented from Enterprise before, but I recommend not using this office. We had a vehicle break down so we rented a car from here so both my spouse and I could get to work. First rental went fine, the second rental we had scheduled for the week of Thanksgiving. I was worried they wouldn't have anything available, but I was able to make a reservation about five days before we needed to pick up. The day that reservation was scheduled to begin, we got a call about an hour before scheduled pickup saying they had no vehicles available. I was upset and asked what was the point of making a reservation? They explained that there is no way around it, it's just the way "the reservation system" works, and they don't know until last second whether or not a vehicle is available. We called a different company and luckily were able to rent on-the-spot from them at OAJ. To rub it in, I got a call from them, on the day that reservation was scheduled to end, saying they now had a vehicle available. I said no, I no longer need it, and I got the impression the employee was irritated with me when they said "ok, I'll cancel your reservation then". Like it was my fault for wasting their time with that phone call....... Again, we've rented from Enterprise before, but I can't recommend this office. Go with OAJ where it seems more vehicles are available with all of the major vehicle rental companies. read more

The staff that work here are so nice and attentive. I got a flat tire while driving one of their rentals and they made getting me another rental as easy as possible and were understanding. I also had to extend the date for my rental car and they took care of it no problem and the phone conversation was two minutes so it was quick and easy and i wasn't put on hold for a long time. Definitely recommend this enterprise, better than other locations that i have been too. read more

We rent at lot of cars for work and this Enterprise is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. Mike the manager is available and present for questions. He really works with us. The cars are clean and even have a smoke smell. We will continue to use this Enterprise for our work and personal rental needs! read more

The staff that assisted me during pick up, when I had an accident and during drop off, were absolutely phenomenal. Let me start by saying I was done with Enterprise because another location (OAJ airport) towed my personal auto which cost me 300 to get back. But this location at North Marine Blvd saved your collective tails. Kelsey and Annabelle have tolerated my multiple changes on the 2nd rentals, 1st rentals, made me feel at ease. I have extreme PTSD and those nice ladies made Every thing easy as pie. Multi rentals later,, I suggest you keep that staff because I will never use a different location. Seriously, autos in fantastic condition, they go over everything with me, can upsell better than some I have trained in the past and make me see the importance of being covered for the minor things like keys, tires, road side. ATTENTION ALL ENTERPRISE CUSTOMERS!!!! Now that I have your attention I want to take a minute out to say that I have used enterprise on multiple occasions, it is my go to rental company. My whole issue is property specific, the location in Jacksonville North Carolina, has been by far the worst experience with customer service! I am quite positive that they are meeting none of the brand standards. I was in a car accident and got my rental through this property and the gentleman working that day, put me in a vehicle that was missing a hubcap and slid all over the road, I wouldn't transport an paper box from point a to point b in this car, let alone my two beautiful children. I immediately returned this car in Wilmington NC where I work and there I received the normal wonderful service that I normally receive through enterprise. Upon returning my vehicle almost 2 weeks later in the drop box and calling the next business day because I had a few simple questions about my bill, not wanting a refund or anything of that nature just simple questions. They would not answer my phone call after calling multiple times over a 3 hour period. At one point I heard someone pick up the phone and then immediately hang up. This is completely unacceptable, I truly hope that corporate takes a closer look at this property. I could not believe that on yelp it has almost 5 stars. YIKES. read more
