I have been to many rental places...and I do have to say the ladies who work at this location are awesome. Every single one of them were super friendly and understanding of our situation. They were patient with us (and some of the other customers I saw them interact with) and they made the whole process a bearable one. Even when we called to ask a question, they were very nice and friendly about it. The only thing is the location itself is very small so they do not have the biggest inventory. I had a really disappointing experience with this location and the lack of resolution has been extremely frustrating. I was charged $246.94 for a "rekey fee" that was never clearly communicated to me at any point during my rental. I've been trying to resolve this for weeks, working with multiple employees, including Vanessa, but have gotten nowhere. Here's what happened: I had a flat tire after hours and contacted Enterprise roadside assistance. I was told to leave the vehicle and take an Uber to a different location for a replacement. Due to a language barrier with the driver, I ended up at the wrong location and had to walk--carrying my belongings and my son's car seat--to the correct branch. Later, I was contacted about the key from the original vehicle. I told them I still had it, since no one had given me any instructions on what to do with it when I left the car. I was then asked to return it, which I did as soon as I reasonably could given my schedule. At no point did anyone mention that I would be charged a rekey fee. The first time I even knew about it was when I saw the charge hit my account. When I asked for proof that this fee had been disclosed, no one could provide any documentation or record. What made this even worse was how it was handled. Vanessa insisted that I had been informed about the charge--which is simply not true--and instead of working toward a resolution, it felt like I was being dismissed and essentially told I was wrong. That's incredibly frustrating as a customer, especially when I made every effort to follow instructions and return the key promptly. I understand policies exist, but if you're going to charge someone nearly $250, that needs to be clearly communicated upfront. The lack of transparency and accountability here is unacceptable. Between the inconvenience, poor communication, and the way this was handled, this has been a terrible experience. I expected much better from a company like Enterprise. I would strongly recommend being cautious and getting everything in writing if you rent from here. read more

Enterprise has provided me with a two month long nightmare that would cause any rational person to boycott the company. Let's start this insane journey at the beginning. I'm working at the Beverly Hilton and rent a car for the weekend before I return home. Reserve a Corolla, arrive end of day 3/26 to pick it up and to my surprise, the only car available is a Mitsubishi Mirage. I was told by the employee (who I will refer to as "C. G.") that I could take a ride share to LAX to choose a different car, but I wanted to avoid the $50+ it would cost, so I swallowed my pride and accepted the Mirage. C.G. Walked me around the vehicle explaining the damage assessment criteria. There were two areas of the body on the front end with small imperfections that I pointed out. C. G. assured me these were too small to report. In my opinion, she was right, but I wanted to be thorough. When we signed the contract stating no damage, I confirmed that the spots that I pointed out do not qualify. I was assured again Although the car was embarrassing, it got me from point A to point B. I returned it 4 days later without incident. A week later I got an email with a Bill from Enterprise for $1500. I was shocked. I wasn't in an accident and took good care of the car. I couldn't understand how returning a car in the condition it was rented would cost me $1500. On top of that, this implies I was rented a damaged vehicle. I called this location to do some investigation. I explained the situation and asked to speak with the employee who did the walk around with me, C. G. The Manager (we will call her V) told me that C.G. Would call me back. I called the next day and was told the same thing. I waited two more days and called again. This time I was informed C. G. Would not be back in office for 30 days. Fast forward to me being sent back to work at Beverly Hilton. I stop in the Enterprise office and speak to a very friendly employee and explained the situation asking for photos and footage from the day I picked up the vehicle. This employee divulged that C. G. was no longer an employee, and the car had no photo documentation from the 3 previous renters. Before she could provide any more help, the Manager, V took over and basically was resigned to not providing anything to help me prove my case to Enterprise damage recovery. For the last two months I've been trying to resolve this with Damage recovery. It's honestly been emotionally exhausting. They refuse to escalate my case to a manager. I have been forwarded to the voicemail but my voicemail has never been returned by the manager, just the lower level employee handling my claim. The photos they sent from the mechanics show the exact car they rented to me. When they removed the bumper, on the underside of the bumper (not visible while standing in front of the car) was a scuff that actually met Enterprise's damage assessment policy so they used this to justify charging me $1500 for repairs. The photos of the car validate my claim that no damage was seen doing a typical walk around and the only damage cited was under the car. Enterprise is basically telling me if I don't pay $1500 for their fraudulent claim against me, they will not rent to me again (extortion). I honestly have never felt less supported by a company and have never experienced a more predatory and criminal way for a company to deceptively steal money from a loyal customer with an excellent driving record. My experience at this Enterprise location was so bad that I ended up taking my business to a different rental company the same day. The employee I dealt with, Alicia, was shockingly unprofessional, dismissive, rude, and clearly uninterested in assisting customers. Every simple question was treated like an inconvenience. What bothered me most was that there was no attempt from anyone on staff or management to intervene or help, even as it was obvious the situation wasn't being handled correctly. It says a lot about how this location is run. I rent cars frequently for work and personal travel, but this experience convinced me to avoid this branch entirely; and I'll be advising my coworkers and family to do the same. With so many rental options out there, there's no reason to deal with a location that treats customers this poorly. read more

Unreliable. I reserved a car in morning & received 2 confirmations msgs. See screenshots. Then just to be sure I called 1hr later & they told me my vehicle will be ready at 5:00pm. Lady even said "No need to call the confirmation means it will be ready". Then they called me 1hr 15 before pick up and said "oh sorry we don't have the car...we won't have any cars anytime soon ...none of our other locations have cars...sorry" What nonsense! I drive by there all the time & lot is full. So why would u send 2 confirmations texts? Why would u confirm when I called? Sounds fishy? Sounds like unreliable. Failure to deliver the car I had reserved 10 days before my pick-up date. I had reserved a car at the Westwood location on Santa Monica Blvd. I visited the office three times, two weeks prior, one week prior and this week to give them plenty of time to secure the vehicle class I requested. Each time, they confirmed my reservation for a large SUV. This morning, they called to say "unfortunately, they could not provide a large SUV." They also denied having any record of my request for a Large SUV, which was the ONLY point of my prior visits - to set them up for success. With three (3) in person visits prior to the day of rental, the sole purpose of which was to give them the time to perform ------ they failed. read more

I had to rent a car from here through an insurance because I was in an accident and the tall lady with a heavy accent assisted us and was rude from the beginning. Upon arrival i didnt have my debit card, and she kept insisting she talked me and told me which is not a problem i get we need a card but i never talked to her that morning. When returning the car I left my phone in the rental so we called asking if they found it. Ended up having to chase after my phone and she was mad at us for following her when we flagged her down and she didn't let us explain my phone was there. When we finally got back to enterprise she blamed us and was just extremely rude. I would and will NEVER come to this location again. read more

This location of Enterprise in Westwood is the best one I've ever been to. The customer service was stellar. In particular, Justin was incredibly helpful with an insurance claim I had and getting me a rental car. The location also helps give you a ride or get you to your mechanics as needed. Everybody who worked in this location was super nice and helpful and made the transaction pleasant. I highly recommend this Enterprise and will be going back when needed! I had the good fortune to be referred to the Santa Monica Blvd /Westwood location of Enterprise following a car accident. I was rear ended by another driver, and his insurance took responsibility and reserved a car for me there while mine was fixed. The whole thing was a nightmare because the guy was under insured and I had to go through my own. That meant returning mid week during the time my car was being repaired to switch cars and start a new contract. The calls, getting gas for different cars, unloading my stuff from each car, arguing with insurance and all was very time consuming and yet the enterprise team couldn't have been nicer! They switched out the car, drove and picked me up from the collision place and commiserated with me about the insurance nightmare. Thx enterprise! read more

Highly recommend this particular enterprise location. I needed a rental car while my car was in the body shop and unfortunately it was during a time when there were not many rental cars available due to the recent fires. I called over to this location and they not only got me in a car right away but made sure they worked within the insurance company's set budget. When I brought the car back after close to a month, there was a small mis-understanding on my bill. Nonetheless, Zik went above and beyond to not only correct the error but make sure that I was completely satisfied with my experience. First I was called by the Beverly Hills location after my insurance adjuster issued a reservation number. I inquired about the available cars, got the info and when I called back to reserve the car I wanted I was informed Enterprise had allowed someone other than me to use my insurance reservation number for a rental. Wow. Then After getting that sorted out, I made a reservation for an electric vehicle to be picked up from this west los angeles location. I dropped off my car for repair and was subsequently picked up by Enterprise. When I arrived at this location to pick up my reserved car, I was told they didn't have any available electric vehicles. Wow. Epic Fail #2. The woman employee was ruder than rude. Made no apologies. So I asked to be taken back to the auto repair shop. After waiting 15 minutes for their only driver to take a shite I was finally able to leave. Next On the way back, the Enterprise driver slammed on his brakes so hard I lunged forward. He had attempted to turn right on a red light but miscalculated the speed of oncoming traffic. Back at the auto shop, I waited while they found me an available electric vehicle at Hertz. And waited some more for a driver to pick me up to take me to the Hertz location 20 minutes away, which ended up being another half hour wait once there and another 30 minutes to charge the car myself in order to make it across town. Finally After a three-hour ordeal, I was back home. Needless to say, I will never use Enterprise again. read more

This branch doesn't even deserve a one star rating very very rude staff. I am nine months pregnant. I walked in to switch a car that I don't feel safe and I am unhappy about. He tells me that I have to go to the original branch. I picked up the car. He was not willing to help me which is absolutely not true because I had originally picked up a Toyota from the other Santa Monica location Had switched to Nissan in Beverly Hills location with no problem I asked him what is available and he was very hesitant to help me. He told me he doesn't have the car I am looking for. I pointed to one of the cars that I was interested in and in response he replies ma'am I don't have to explain myself to you. Enterprise Rent-A-Car lets me feel the breadth of human emotion beyond anything you can experience at even the best Shakespearean plays. I want to point out that I am giving this place a 4 star review because I believe you are good people, but now I will recount the tale of my people. First time I went to this place I got a car, no problem, no issue nbd. It's a little more expensive here since they aren't open sunday so you sometimes just have to keep the car overnight when you don't want to. Also the lot is small so its a bit of a juggling act to get it back to them but nbd. Second time I tried to rent a car I thought id save money by going to hertz. I needed a midsized car to carry stuff. Hertz lied to me and gave me a subcompact so i made a VERY LAST SECOND reservation here. So everyone was scrambling. First car they almost gave me had a flat, the enterprise guys caught it themselves, so no problem. second car they gave me, they refill the same tire. then the next day i find out it has a pin hole leak too. End up having to change the tire up in the mountains. Im miles from an approved enterprise shop, so I have to call them and get them to agree to let me get it fixed wherever. To their credit, they did agree. So i got the tire fixed and enterprise payed me back with a little extra to spare. So in the end they are good people, but man. What a journey. I think their tire situation will improve, right now they just have construction across the street (late 2019) so I had a nail in the tire. oh well. Still. good folks, just wish they would open sunday. read more

a couple of years ago they used to be very efficient, in the past year they started being late and not delivering on the reservations. I called them on Thursday to confirm the reservation with the car type I rented for Friday. I get there at 10am, and they say they don't have the car type I reserved but a different one, so my friend had to go to another location. I wait at the same location and the car they had for me was damaged. it has now been 2 hours and I still do not have a car! Reserved a car on October 7. Arrived and they had no cars. I came back twice then booked else where. As I cancelled and was walking out after waiting 2 hours they chased me out and gave me a larger car. When I returned the car they charged me $2200 extra dollars for being one hour late. Though I waited 2 hours for a car. I complained the girl didn't care. I called the 800 complained and no one ever called me back. Pathetic! read more

Wow. The Century City Enterprise Location is currently outstanding. The negative reviews must either be from other locations or before the management there was changed. I have been very unimpressed at several other Enterprise locations, especially Santa Monica (e.g. long waits, dirty cars - including one with half eaten fast food in the passenger seat) but Century City is really fantastic. Matt, who seems to be running the place, runs a really tight shop. All the cars in the lot were immaculately clean and in good shape, and service was excellent and quick. Enterprise would do well to promote Matt to be a regional manager or higher. Enterprise, in general, has never been high on my preference list, but if it continues to be so I well run, I will never rent a car in Los Angeles anywhere else. read more
