Avoid! This enterprise is nothing like any other I have visited. I made a reservation and completed my check in process the night before. Our car was not ready. The car we reserved was unavailable and we were offered something else, plus a wait to receive it. Despite completing the check-in we were asked who we worked for, who our insurance company was and how much our deductible was, in front of a room of other waiting customers. This is completely a non-standard practice for an Enterpise. The woman behind the counter was unprofessional and denied me a vehicle after I pointed out the inconsistency. That was uncalled for and unprofessional. Had no trouble at a different location. I DO NOT recommend this location of Enterprise at all. Do not come here, avoid! read more

Staff at the offices in Longview and Euless Texas were both excellent. Our truck was totaled when we hydroplaned near the Tx/La border on a Saturday afternoon. Longview was the only place open on Sunday. They found us a large suv at a really good price. Women we returned it a few days later, we traded for a really nice GMC crew cab at a great price. Once we bought our new truck, we returned the gmc to the Euless branch which was a half mile from where we bought our new truck. Nothing like being three hours away from home and almost dying in a car accident. Then having your insurance company book a reservation with enterprise and get a confirmation and a confirmation number only to pay for a taxi ride 30 minutes from the scene of the accident to the Rental car office and be told that they don't have any cars. The office manager is the one who talked to me and her exact quote was "We don't have any cars. Good luck to you." read more

If possible, zero stars would be given. Was shocked that such a big name in car rentals would completely drop the ball and be so carrless with their customers and assosiated businesses. I was having my car repaired at a body shop and the insurance company set me up a rental at Enterprise which was convieniantly located adjacent to the body shop. I was given my reservation confirmation and date to pick up my rental, and then coordinated to drop my car off at the body shop that same day. Luckily the morning of, I called the Enterprise number on my rental confirmation, as I learned that I did not have a car ready, nor reserved, even though I had recieved the confirmation of that. Then I was told, well, sorry, but that's not how it works. Then proceded to tell me that I needed to speak with her directly to rent a car, and that then, I would be put on "the list" of when cars became available, she would let me know. At 56 years old, I've been renting cars for business off and on with all the major rental companies for around 20 years of my life. So I know how it works. But at Enterprise in Marshall, Texas it doesn't? I called the insurance company who had set all this up for me, and of course they said my car was confirmed reserved, so there was certainly a misunderstanding. So State Farm called Enterprise in Marshall with me on the line to straighten things out. Shockingly the insurance agent was given the same story frim the manager of Marshall Enterprise, making and recieving rental car reservations are not how it works. The agent and I were both done with this obsurd person and we reserved a car a few miles down the road at Hertz, in about 10 minutes, whole process. It's now obvious why I now see the reviewers give Enterprise in Marshall bad reviews, poor service, many dropped rental confirmations, being treated rudely etc. Avoid this Enterprise location. Better yet, just avoid Enterprize as it's clear after reading the numerous complaints at this location, that they do not keep their locations in order. I hope this helps others. read more

UPDATE: When car was finally available (following Monday as tentatively promised) service was very good; car was available, in good shape and processing efficient. I did call to confirm it was available prior to pick up. Further when I needed to extend several days it accomplished with a simple phone call. Referring to the Enterprise office in Marshall, TX. While I understand their not having a car available when I came in cold (dropping my personal car off for work at the next door auto body shop), I don't accept their not having a car a week later on the reservation date. Further their not calling and letting me know before driving over and being unable to guarantee a car being available at any future date. There are opportunities for improvement at minimum in their scheduling and administration. Can't comment on any other areas as I haven't seen any yet. read more

I would have given five stars except for the fact they are under staffed. The reason you stay on hold forever is because there is only one person in the office to handle walk in traffic and telephone calls. I've rented from the Marshall office several times and the staff has always been helpful and very positive. The cars are clean and the office is kept tidy. The only negative is that one person in the office is not sufficient to provide the type of service Enterprise is known for in the industry. Also, As an FYI, they do not have an after hours key drop box any longer because too many customers took advantage of the service. This is a Nationwide change so ensure your car is dropped off on time or you will be charged. read more

Not a very accommodating establishment! The criteria is rigid and needs improvement to gain a better customer satisfaction.

Can't trust this place!! Do not use them!!! We reserved a 15 passenger van for a trip a month in advance only to have them call us 2 days before we left to let us know they overbooked and we don't have a van. They also would not help us to check with one of their other locations to see if they could get us one. So we are left scrambling to find transportation for our trip at the last minute. That should've never happened. Apparently this is not unusual for them to do, per their employeeWas told they have what's called "Open Booking" so they really have no idea what's in stock. You need a horse, they'll tell you they have one for rent. read more

I have been on hold twice now for almost a half hour waiting to talk to someone about a charge on my credit card. After my accident I told the agents at this location I needed a full size suv or pickup because of my back issues. First time I went they had nothing for me so we rescheduled the repairs on my truck for the next week. When I went in the next week the vehicle I was supposed to pick up was in Nacogdoches due to nobody answering the phone at this location. They decided they would fix it by putting me into a compact suv which with my back issues I could barely get into or out of and once inside I couldn't get the seat far enough back to where the steering wheel even tilted at its highest position was still rubbing my legs. When my wife tried to complain she pretty much got the run around so we just dealt with it. Now we are being hit with another charge on our credit card and are unable to actually talk to anybody. I was told they would bring my rental to the repair shop and pick it up there when my truck was repaired which they never offered causing me to have to make arrangements on getting to the repair shop. As a whole this service from this location sucks and my wife and I feel like we've were treated like shit. If there was a lower rating, I would choose it. These people REFUSED to rent my elderly parents a car unless they promised to bring it back the next day. Did not even give them the option of the drop fee to turn it in at another location. Their reasoning? "Well we never get any cars here and if you take this one we will have to get another one." Oh it gets better, my parents had just finished telling them that they had an accident due to some road debris, were stranded 2 hours from home, and were in desperate need of a rental. These monsters took advantage of their situation and made them drive all the way back the next day just so they wouldn't be inconvenienced. I filed a complaint yesterday with corporate and when they walked in to turn the car in today the people that were supposed to be helping them said "oh yeah, there come the complainers." WOW. Way to make it right, great customer service guys. NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! read more

I have used Enterprise every time I have needed a car rental but it has always been the Longview location. Since I was having my car fixed in Marshall I decided to use the Marshall Enterprise. When my husband talked to them they informed him we would be responsible for $16, no problem right? Well what he did not tell him was it was going to be $16/day. When I called them I told them I had never had this issue before and I have always been able to be put in a car comparable to mine for no extra cost. He told me he had a mini-van that my insurance would cover or the SUV that we would have to pay extra for but for me to come on down so I could see what I wanted. I immediately jumped in my truck and headed that way. When I got there he did not have the van on site and told me he would be charging me more because he had to go pick up the SUV from another location. Bottom line he lied to me on the phone to get me there and was about to charge me an arm and a leg. I called another enterprise location about an hour away and received excellent service and not having to come out of pocket for anything. I will NEVER deal with Enterprise in Marshall, TX ever again. Also, one of my neighbors said they had been waiting since Monday for an SUV from them and had yet to receive a call. Stay away from this location!!! read more
