My husband was in a car wreck (not his fault) and was in need of a rental for 3-4 weeks. Enterprise shuttle failed to pick him up at the body shop at 9:00 AM as was arranged, and confirmed the day prior. Their phones were out (have been for a week apparently) so he couldn't get ahold of them. After 3.5 hours he was able to get a ride to the store, he stated his frustration that he had been left all morning. The clerk/manager immediately stated he was not going to rent us a vehicle. My husband was firm and maybe a little rude, but not antagonistic or to any degree that not offering service would be appropriate. Pretty poor customer service to not rent a vehicle to someone for being slightly rude when your business is the reason they wasted their entire day stranded at the body shop. Hertz got us fixed right up, no problems at all. We will never rent with enterprise again. read more

Stay away if you want your money and you like to be treated with respect!! My experience started off pleasant but has turned out to be a never ending nightmare!! Had to stop here to do a rewrite here in Longview, TX while on a road trip that would extend over the month rental contract. Repaid a new deposit to start the new rental and then extended as the month has gone by. Let's just say Customer Service and this branch do not communicate!! Between customer service taking payments from my card that exhausted my deposit and this location running my debit card as a credit card and then running my card for a $1000 lump sum as an in person payment 20 days AFTER I left their establishment...because they messed up EVERYTHING .... has created chaos days before Christmas! Oh and on top of that I have an investigator calling me to threaten to report the rental stolen. Which then I could be arrested and charged with a felony! My account is now locked and no one can figure out what happened to my money, payments or anything. Customer Service is no help and Longview staff has hung up on myself and my wife multiple times along with gaslighting Us about when we came into their establishment and paid in the first place. They want to get an attitude at the customer who is upset due to the fact that a reservation was placed, but once you get there to pick up car they don't have a reservation, and there are no cars. Yet the only other white person was given a hard time, but she was able to use her corporate account and they eventually gave in and gave her a car. Also, there had to be over 40 cars in the lot. No effort was made to assist us as visitors to the USA and Texas. It was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I reserved the car as I had to be in Dallas by 6 PM for an important meeting and to catch our flight back to Thailand in the AM. I did use their phone to call corporate and was bumped up to one supervisor after another etc until I got another robot man who refused to speak with the workers there. He promised he would get me a car ASAP. We waited until I couldn't anymore. I ended up having to pay for an UBER to Dallas! Plus having to take an Uber to your location. I reserved a car for early this month via the website. Thirty minutes before my reservation, they called me and told me that they didn't actually have any cars available. First hurdle....to get the phone answered. I have called no less than 20 times and waited on hold for the 10 minutes before the phone automatically hangs up and asks you to call back. I finally called right as they opened and was able to get a woman on the phone who was rude from the very beginning of the phone call. its amazing how poor the customer service has been with enterprise as a whole. The people with the exception of the supervisor where very courteous when communicating. However, when I initially arrived there were at least three agents and it took five minutes to acknowledge my presence. They were out of cares at 200 pm on a Monday. Perhaps this was due to unreturned weekend rentals. If you choose this location expect very little and you won't be disappointed. I ended up having to go elsewhere. Tread lightly. read more

According to the idiots at the front desk, my mother, who has never rented a car in her entire life, owes a balance on a vehicle she never rented from January of last year. When asked in not so many words "What do you expect us to do about this phantom rental?" They said "I guess you can call Enterprise." Here's an idea, as we are standing in an Enterprise that employs you, how about YOU "call Enterprise" and figure out the problem?! Anyway, we went a block or so up the road to Hertz. Go there, they're actually civil and possess the capacity for abstract thought. 12/15/2020 I reserved a car and requested to be picked up at a repair shop. I waited for an hour and they did not call or show up. I got a ride to their location, and they told me they had no cars. I went to rent a van from your company and we had a reservation and sonny said he tried to call but they didn't speak to use and when we arrived they did not have the van . We were understandly upset . We are leaving to vacation in the morning . We asked them to call other branches to find a van and they refused . When we reached out to the customer service they said there was a van in Marshall that we could have gotten had sonny or Sydney had called. Sydney told me I was ridiculous for thinking I could rent a van 6 days ahead of time and thinking I'd get one. She and sonny have terrible customer service . We asked them to call , they refused , we asked them to make it right and they refused . A van was turned in during our visit and sonny refused to rent to rent it to use and told us to leave and and called the police . While we were there they had another customer and sonny and Sydney had an arguement because the were extremely rude to her as well. There was 4 employees in the store and we could not get one of the to call another location . For 15 minutes we were the only customers in the store . Sydney then proceeded to tell Sonny we were so ridiculous and we should have planned better and when we asked if she was talking about use she was extremely rude . This is straight up ludicrous. We were upset, my husband was extremely angry that Sydney was straight up disrespect. This situation was not made right .. They were rude the minute we walked in. If i can do no stars i would! Last week i book a car online after hours of course because we ain't all on their schedule. I got confirmed for a reservation. In the morning they call me and i missed the call saying they don't have cars to rent me at all and the other enterprise in the city sold out as well. So I'm calling and calling and some more calling NO ONE EVER ANSWER. I call cooperate they said they can't leave you stranded and they called the branch no one answers as well. They left a message for them to call me and no one calls me. I make another reservation for a smaller smaller car and same thing happens they call and cancel. Lucky i answer the call. They notify me they cancel due to no cars again. I told them i called corporate and they said you didn't call anyone probably a customer service center. I told them why is the computer letting reservation go thru if there isn't there no car. He gotta be a smart ass and say if i had a dollar for every time someone tell me that i would be a wealthy man. I can give two fucks about that. I'm trying to get a car not talk to a smart ass! Then he says i can't help you because i said "fuck" but they can talk to me like a idiot. Also, he started blaming that they are short handed. WORSE customer communication. A truck was offered which was not acceptable or we were told to "come back in a few hours." Manager VERY rude. "We simply treat our customers how they should be treated" is supposedly Enterprise's philosophy, however this is clearly not true at this location. Ann Brook was the worst person I've ever had to deal with. I would say rent a car from a drug dealer before dealing with these people. The manager basically told me he'd give me a 5 passenger vehicle even though there are 6 of us and drive to another enterprise and see if they can swap me then go back for the one that's left behind. This is so he doesn't mess with his reservations that are scheduled for the rest of the day. I would highly recommend any where but enterprise to get a car from this place doesn't care that the tire keeps going flat and is unsafe to drive. I've been a customer over 20 years. Business and leisure. In the last 6 months I've had a 30 day, 1 day, 8 day and 3 day full sized sedan rental from Enterprise. The first two of those in Carrollton, TX, the last two in Longview. The first 3 get 5 stars. The last one...LEFT ME SPEECHLESS. The inexcusable rudeness, lies and blatant disregard for any attempt at customer service at this location appears to have become the norm that corporate is unable or unwilling to correct. Spend 5 minutes reading reviews on Google Maps over that last several months, like I failed to do, and you'll go elsewhere for any reservation that is critical. You'll see it's become a habit at this location to dishonor a reservation at the last minute without caring, without notification, with outright lies and without any attempt at correcting the situation and EVEN WITHOUT AN APOLOGY... leaving us, the customers, in a crisis. In my case, The-Father-of-the-Bride almost missed giving away his daughter. To each of those other complaints, "The owner" responds through several different people, having a canned response. "Send us the details and we'll deal with it." Well, they obviously haven't or can't or don't even want to because it continues to happen. We must be acceptable losses in their new business model -- 'As long as the branch shows a profit, it's all good.' For the owner - My reservation made and confirmed twice 11 days in advance was for 3 days... pickup Friday morning 9/22/17 return Monday morning 9/25/17. Reservation confirmation number 1720262679 My first phone call to them Friday morning I was told to wait for the driver to return. An hour later I called and was told they had no car for me. The response to my question of when would they have a car... NOT UNTIL MONDAY MORNING !!! ... followed by SILENCE !!! to which I finally said.... "I'm speechless." and hung up. I don't have to tell you how many Enterprise locations are withing a 4 hour round trip to Longview. They could easily have gotten another car to me by noon if they cared to. Inexcusable. I had the worse experience with this company I would never, rent a vehicle from this place again. I had a claim back in March of 2017 I was told by my claims rep that my reservation was ready. I came in to the enterprise office on Spur 63 when I show up I have this guy telling me they were out of vehicles and send me to another location. I called this other location to make sure they had vehicles before I show up since I had already drop my vehicle at the shop for repairs. I was told by this lady they had a corolla ready for me and when I show up the guy at the front desk looks at me like I am stupid and said No ma'am we don't have anything available. At this point I was very upset I used my lunch time to get this done and I am 1.5 hours running from one place to the other. SO, then I went back to work and call enterprise to the 1800 number and see if they have anything available and they send me back to the Spur 63. I call them to Double check and they say they have a vehicle available. I asked if there was any way they could pick me up from work at 5:00 I gave them my work address and nobody shows up at 5:00 I called the office about 5:15 and the guy who answers tells someone that they forgot to pick up the lady at 5:00 and he said someone was on the way. well this person was taking a long time. About 5:35 a guy calls me telling me he is outside of Copeland restaurant!!! I told him he was at the wrong location since I work at Copeland group insurance. when he picks me up he is driving like a maniac. It was just a really bad experience. When I thought that everything would be okay as I was checking the vehicle I noticed it was dirty and had stains so I made sure to point that out he said yeah, yeah, I see that. Well I never notice or checked for Previous Hail damage so when I took the vehicle back they asked me if I drove anywhere where there was hail damage. I told him no I didn't and the guy tells me there is hail damage on the vehicle... Lord I was not happy after all the bad service now they going to file a claim on my insurance for hail damage when we didn't have any hail in Longview while I had the vehicle. People please inspect the vehicle all the way or you will be stuck paying for Damage occurred previously. read more

Went into the Enterprise on Spur 63 in Longview a few days ago. Someone hit my car so i was seeing what their policy was on someone paying out of pocket for a rental and me being the driver. So i talked to Jarvis there. Then i asked him what the cheapest rate was, because these people were paying for it and i didn't need a fancy car. So i wanted the cheapest rate. Told him the dates i would need it.He tells me $50 a day. Well i knew better than that. I left and called the main Enterprise number. Asked the lady on the phone what the cheapest rate for that location and the same dates I told Jarvis. She said $36 a day. I told her what Jarvis quoted me and she was surprised he said that. She told me that isn't correct. I told her I was pissed that he would try and take advantage of me trying to charge $14 more a day than he should. Told her someone needs to call Jarvis and tell him what the cheapest rate is since he obviously doesn't know. So i go in again the next day to get his name because the day before i didn't get it. So I start talking to the lady there, come to find out she is the manager. I told her about being in the day before and I needed to get the mans name that was working there with her the day before. She said in a very hateful mean tone "What do you need his name for?". I told her I was going to put in a complaint on him. She gets a smirky look on her face and gets defensive with me. I told her what he did and that i didn't appreciate being told a lie on the rates. Her response was " Maybe you need to take your business down the street to Hertz". I told her i probably would. I asked her is she was the manager and she said yes. I asked for her card and she gave me one then I asked for his card and she says in a hateful tone "It's over there. Then proceeds to tell me again "Maybe you need to take your business down the street to Hertz". I told her don't worry i will never rent another damn car from Enterprise again. Then she yelled at me and told me not to cuss in her store. I told her then don't allow your employees to lie to customers about the rates. She told me to get out and never come back. I told her you need to go online and read the reviews for this location because they are horrible and mainly the manager. I can see why. So I left and called the main Enterprise number again. Made a complaint on both Jarvis and the manager Ann. Told them the whole story. Told them if that is what they want representing their company they will a business at that location. Told them Ann needs to be fired because she isn't manager material. Also told them about the reviews on this location page that they were horrible. Told her I also read that when you make a complaint to corporate that nothing is ever done. Told her I hope that isn't true. She assured me that it will be looked into. Said I should get a call in a few days. We shall see. I did say i shouldn't have said damn and apologized to the lady I made a complaint to. Will never ever step foot in the Enterprise on Spur 63. They lie about rates trying to charge more than it is supposed to be. This is by far the worst company service from corporate on down. I made a reservation 2 weeks before I needed it. I went to the hwy 259 location 2 days before to confirm everything would be ready. Suddenly I needed a major credit card, he told told he wasn't going to argue with me, and to leave. I mentioned that my mother had rented numerous times from this location and doesn't have a credit card and I asked for his name, he said he didn't have to give it to me and again told me to leave. Called customer care, had it moved to Kilgore location with a call by customer care to confirm. Show up to pick up my rental, they don't have what I need available and make no effort to remedy it. I call customer care again and this time they give me no remedy. Rented from the Ford dealership and saved my spring break trip. It was cheaper and the customary service was top notch. I don't want to give them any stars but can't seem to make a comment without it. read more

This was not my favorite, first or second choice for car rental because of my history with this location. However they have come to redeem themselves. I needed a vehicle to pick my son up from college during Spring Break. I reserved a large suv three days in advance, called the day before to confirm. The next morning when they were to pick me up at 8 I received a call at 7:20 that they had NO SUVS AVAILABLE. How could this happen, I had just confirmed the afternoon before. To say I was not happy is an understatement. I went to the location with my own understanding that I was going to verbally abuse everybody in that office AND despite them telling me they didn't have a vehicle SOMEBODY was going to do what they had promised and confirmed. Upon arrival I had to wait behind another customer before I unleashed on the staff. After hearing the persons situation in line ahead of me I recognized my situation was not nearly as grave. From that moment on, the employees listened to what I came there to do and immediately began to try to rectify the situation while being totally apologetic. Explaining that they heavily rely on previous renters to return the vehicles in order to complete the reservations pending. While I think and can give suggestions on their rental system; it needs a LOT of adjustments, I credit the staff with doing everything they can with what they have available. My suggestion is if they tell you they don't have what you want if possible go take a look at what they have and decide what will work. In my case they did everything they could to make me a happy renter and a returning customer. read more
