A few weeks ago I reserved a car for pick up at the Waterdam plaza location. When I got there they did not have the class of car I reserved and tried to get me to take a Dodge Dart. Then they wanted me to take a low end Jeep. I refused both so they sent me to Bridgeville. I didn't get there till 30 minutes after closing but William C. was very accommodating and salvaged this from a one star to a three stars rating. William acknowledged my situation, apologized for the inconvenience and made amends by waiving the full tank of gas policy. The attitude from the Waterdam employee made me feel like it was my fault for showing up at 5:30 even though I reserved my car with a corporate credit card. The girl was not very friendly either, per Enterprise standards. I got the vibe that she was ready to go home and I should just suck it up and take one of the worst American cars on the road, a Dodge Dart for my 5 hour ride the next day. Over the past 4 months I've rented cars for about 12 days in other parts of the country so I've been through this drill before. It's disappointing that the service I received in Colorado was better than what I got 3 miles from my home. I think the lesson is that I should find another company to rent from when in Pittsburgh, unless I want to go out of my way and deal with William C. up in Bridgeville. read more

They had my SUV ready when I arrived for my appointment. It was clean, and in great shape. The vehicle had a full tank of gasoline, a full tank of window washing fluid, and the tires were great. The Associate who helped me was courteous, and answered all of my questions. read more

OMG. They are horrible. Car was broken into (theft) and we needed a replacement car because they tried to hot-wire. We were parked in a secure parking structure with cameras. Enterprise and road service left us stranded for over 24 hours without a car. We will never rent from them again. We understand we are responsible for the repairs, but they nickel and dime you for everything... admin fees, loss of rental. etc. We paid for a rental and didn't even have a car for 24 hours. Everyone at enterprise was great when my car needed repairs. I ended up having to rent multiple cars from them and they went above and beyond to make sure my experience was excellent. They explained everything clearly, and it was by far the best experience I've ever had with a car rental agency. I ended up working with at least three or four of the people assigned to help customers, and each of them was just as helpful as the as the prior customer service representative. The following is an email I sent to the CEO of Enterprise, Chrissy Taylor...and never received any response...think about this the next time you choose to rent a car! My name is Janice Walters. I made a reservation at the McMurray location at 1031 Waterdam Plaza Dr. Mcmurray, PA 15317 for pick up Aug. 20th at 5:00 pm. Confirmation number 2071535981. My car had already been on transport to Florida, I needed to pick up my husband at the hospital the next morning after having heart procedure. My friend took me to Enterprise at 5:00, dropped me off & left. When I went in the store & gave my name there was a discussion in the back between 2 employees, one being the assistant manager. He came out and told me they called me on my cell phone and left a message that they did not have a car available. I told them they did not call me. They said yes, they left a message on 412-600-8xxx (my phone number is 412-600-8zxx. (even on my confirmation) They said a woman called them back & said she knew there was not a car available. So , while still there I called 412-600-8xxx and asked the lady if she got a call from Enterprise (I had it on speaker for everyone to hear) The lady said yes, but she told them she did not know what they were talking about because her rental was not until Friday. {what are the chances that she actually also had a reservation) when I told the employee that this was their mistake he said sorry, they left a message and they do not have a car. I asked to speak to manager, a lady came out and just concurred...we left you a message and we don't have a car. I asked if they could get a car from another location either then or the next day...they said NO. I asked for a corporate number...I went outside the store and called and they told me they were sorry, they did have cars at the airport and someone would call me and either deliver the car to my home or a convenient location for me to pick up. I had to call a friend to come pick me up to take me back home. While I was standing outside the store trying to get a car from Corporate...the manager left, got in her car and left because it was 5:30 and they were closing. No one had come to ask me if I got a car. I went home...did not hear from anyone so I called corporate again & was told it was escalated & I will get a call. Fortunate for me I had the foresight that I probably would not be getting a call. So I made a reservation with Hertz. As I am writing to you at 8:51 am on 8/22 I have NOT heard from anyone from Enterprise. And I have a car from Hertz. We have always done business with Enterprise, even bought a car from them 2004 in Florida. I will NEVER deal with your company again and plan to let everyone I know not to either. My week prior to this was a granddaughter's wedding, dealing with a husband who has dementia, a sister that passed away on Monday and my husband having a heart procedure. The experience with your Company had me very close to a nervous break down while standing out side your store sobbing in McMurray while your managers did NOTHING. read more

Another less than stellar experience with Enterprise of McMurray, PA. After a hiatus because of a bad experience, I decided to give them another chance only to get a call two hours before my reservation to be told they didn't have any vehicles. They did tell me a vehicle would be available two days later. No worries, another local rental company stepped up and even had a vehicle. read more

Worst place ever. Got through all the paperwork and went to pay and just because the chip on my card doesn't work they could not take my payment. No tapping or swiping capabilities. They couldn't even manually type in my card number. I asked if I could pay online. Nope that wasn't an option either. Very archaic credit card system. I will never rent from enterprise ever again and I'm gonna tell everybody I know never use this business. read more

Booked a car for a trip at 8 am and they called us the day of to tell us they don't have the car. Better yet they don't have a car at any of the locations within 45 minutes from us.. Ruined our whole trip we had planned to NYC. read more

This particular location has developed quite a reputation for falsely accusing people of causing minor damage to their vehicles and then extorting them for charges under the auspices of the contract. Under no circumstances should you ever drop one of their rentals off at an auto repair center for their pick up or use the drop box at their location. Of course you do have the option of incurring an additional fee for a damage waiver that essentially doubles the price of the rental. Renter beware - they are corrupt and you will have no recourse. read more

I was falsely accused of causing damage to a rental that I had for five hours. Because their staff did not take the time to accurately document previous damage made before I leased the car, I spent a week trying to prove that I did not cause the damage. Learned my lesson: take my own photos of the rental before leaving their lot. I never received an apology even after they admitted the damage was already there. It's been over two months and I still haven't received the requested call back from their regional management. read more

I reserved a car online for Sunday at 12. Online times say they're open until 1pm. I was a few minutes late and they were closed. The door said they close at 12. How are you going to let someone reserve a car online for the time you close? That doesn't make any sense to me. read more

I was having my vehicle worked on and needed a rental and these guys took care of me. At first they did not have the vehicle i needed, so they gave me a loaner and asked that I return in the morning and trade out, and they hooked me up with exactly what I needed and they also worked with me on extending my return date. I will definitely use these guys again if I am in need of a rental. read more

We have been renting from enterprise about once a month for 3 or 4 years, despite the fact that Avis gives free rentals. Enterprise is closer. Recently we rented a vehicle. The paperwork says $250 to be refunded. They refunded $100. Refuse to put the remainder on the card. Reason? My husband opted for the insurance at the end of the agreement. It is marked 'declined' and ' accepts' and he was not given the price nor was the paperwork corrected. Some ignorant salesperson didn't complete the paperwork. Had he been in an accident, I am SURE it would not be honored. They found it necessary to not refund the full $250. Ps- Avis charges $4 a day for the insurance, not $20. I will never return. Customer service is terrible. Why do you have to give one star? Truly, 0 stars. read more

McMurray office took great care of me. Exceeded expectations and the entire process was perfect. They are my first call when I need a vehicle either personally or for my company. The truck I rented was brand new and in great shape. Had every feature I needed and most of the features I would have on my own truck. Every interaction with the staff there was positive. These guys were so helpful and I would totally use again and recommend! I'm a mom of young children who needed a car quickly as my van was in the shop. Taylor picked me up down the road at the mechanic's and had me checked in and out of the office in record time (luckily I didn't have the kids with me at this time). When it was time for me to turn the car in it was a little tricky because this time I did have my two little ones with me WITH car seats. I drove directly to their office and they again processed my paperwork in record time and were so friendly while my 2yr old son ran around their office (he's a little dickens, but a happy one! :). Zack was nice enough to drive me back to the mechanic's WITH my kids using the car I rented since the seats were already in there. Zack was so down to earth and friendly during the ride. They do provide you with a rental car, which is explicitly the service they provide. They also have the tagline, "We'll pick you up!" Which of course is all over their advertising and might even be the first thing you think of when you think of Enterprise Rent A Car, but what they don't tell you and what is stated NO WHERE on their website is that they don't pick up until after 10. read more
