I would rather walk 500 miles through a desert than ever deal with this store or Enterprise as a…read morewhole, ever again. I had some major car issues in the dead of winter last year. Contacted every Enterprise around me and everyone was out of cars the day I needed. Then, the Washington PA store had a vehicle available. I figured out rides (as this specific store is 1.5 hours away from me) and got everything situated. Upon arrival and completing my agreement, they ran my card and said it declined. I just got paid hours before that, so I knew it for sure wasn't possible. I was then told that they couldn't process payment for another 24 hours (as I was being told this, I also showed the worker my app showing the payment was pending). She advised me she would call me within 24 hours to make the payment again and ALSO advised that the "pending charge" would "fall off" once they received payment. The girl did not call me back for 2 days, and at that time she took another payment..which immediately went to pending in my account. I showed her the first original payment and this time she said "it should fall off when you return the car" KEYWORD: SHOULD. She didn't know, she just needed something to say. Long story short - the payment didn't fall off, it actually posted twice, so my 600 and some dollar rental turned into $1,111.16. I've contacted Enterprise over 100 times, emails, calls, voicemails. Disputed the charges with my bank. Instead of Enterprise honoring it though, they sent my bank a copy of the rental agreement (which shows I did rent the car. Because I did.) But it DOES NOT SHOW THE DECLINED PAYMENT. Even though Enterprise provided me with a copy of the declined payment, they won't provide it to the bank. This has now been going on since FEBRUARY 2025. It has been exactly 5 months to date from the day I returned my car. Enterprise Washington PA store manager, Mike, has done nothing but make up excuses for their Regional Manager, Chelsea, who has not returned my 20+ calls, voicemails and emails in 3 weeks. I have literally proven to Enterprise the money was deducted from my account. Where it went is for them & PNC to decide on, I shouldn't have to SUFFER because of the credit processing systems between these 2 companies. Ridiculous. Ignorant. Disgusting. I am so disgusted at how I have been treated. Mike did advise me though that Chelsea told him I could go ahead and file a civil dispute. BUT SHE COULDN'T TELL ME THAT. Its sad. $485 refund but instead go waste money on a civil suit, just for a judge to look at this merchant and say exactly what I have been for months. The point of this? Don't treat people like garbage. I am stressed out and behind. I deserve MY money, not some money sucking scum company.
