Exactly a month ago I was on vacation in Texas. Exactly for a month I'm trying to get on phone with someone who has authority to help me solve my problem. I happened to be unlucky to forget my glasses in the car that I brought back to this location. Unfortunately I realized it on my way back home, sitting in the plane that was getting ready to take off. I called immediately and was told to receive a call back same day to see what we can do about that. Ok. It's been a month I'm trying to reach the manager who is always happen to be absent and my $400 Chanel glasses is well kept in his safe, as I've been told. I was ready to send a pre payed package to get them back but I still get no answer! Always same - we don't have the authority, our manager will give you a call back asap. Never did once!!!! Screw that!!!! I see it as not willing to cooperate and as STEALING. And I've been a loyal costumer of ENTERPRISE for years! "a family owned" made a difference for f sure. Very unprofessional staff. Got an attitude immediately and yelled at me on the phone to which I did reply loud but in a non vulgar way asking 1 simple question which the male there refused to answer and, of course, wouldn't give me his name. I recognize his voice though bc he is the one who did the rental agreement with me and whom gave me a dirty, stained rental but at least the volume worked in the car. The previous cars radio had radio problems where the volume kept going up and constantly. He tried to send me off with the first car twice but I returned bc of this issue. I'm am really surprised that this individual works for enterprise!!! I have never experienced this at any other enterprise or car rental location nor have I any other business period in my life. Worst experience ever. It's a scam and they're good at it. The employee, Richard Shaw, makes up false accusations. They charged my card without my authorization for an EXTRA $350! Of course, they did that AFTER they were closed so I couldn't call right away. They had already kept the $250 deposit which I should have only had to pay $80 for the two-day rental. Not to mention that the car was extremely dirty on the inside and had a nasty odor that reminded me of urine. The windows weren't clean except for my driver-side window. I was nothing but nice to him when I picked up and the car and was in a hurry to get to where I was going. We did a walk around the vehicle and I noticed a scratch/chipped paint on the back bumper and I mentioned it to him and he said that the only thing I should be looking for is a scratch that is "longer than the length of a dollar bill". That's it. Just look for scratches. Simple. So that's all I did, I just looked for scratches and there weren't any others. But he knew exactly of something else that not I nor anyone else would have noticed unless you knew exactly what to look at and what angle to look at it as well. So I go to return the vehicle and he goes out to look at it and immediately comes right back in(as if he already knew what he was looking for) and he claims that the front bumper was "hanging down". I wish I could post a picture of what he was talking about because of how no one but he was able to notice it. He asked his coworker to go out and look at the car and the coworker, David, came right back in and asked, "where?" because he didn't see it. They went out together and I could see they weren't agreeing at all. Richard came back in and was huffing and puffing and was saying stuff under his breath. I could just tell he wasn't happy with his associate's opinion. He then proceeded to call his employer, aka the boss Victor and told him this story about what he think happened. He said that "it looks like if you were to pull into a parking space too far in and hit the front". He didn't say it was hypothetical at all. After he got off the phone I asked him why he said that as if that was what happened and he just said "I was saying it hypothetically" but he didn't say that it was just an example to his boss. Then he wanted me to pay the $350 right then and there and I told him that I wasn't going to until I could speak to someone else and he said he would wait to process it until the following Monday (this was a Thursday) but of course it got taken out of my account the next day without my consent and after they had closed. It still hasn't been closed and I'm in the process of filing a claim against this company. Not against Enterprise itself but against this specific branch. Richard Shaw was not helpful at all and was just saying he was just doing his job but I honestly think he was just trying to take advantage of the fact that I'm a young woman who was doing this on her own for the first time. I will NEVER use this company again and I will tell anyone and everyone about my HORRIBLE experience here. read more

I've been to this location multiple times to rent vehicles to go on family vacations. These last few times I've visited this establishment was due to me having my vehicles worked on by Service King Collision Repair down the street. And I tell you what, Enterprise has always come through for me on the last minute...they would go out of their way to get me the car that would meet my needs no matter the situation. Car are dirty. Limited selection and the restroom inside is horrible with urine and pubic hairs on the toilet. Worst experience ever.

Sleazy con artists, plain and simple. I've rented from almost every national car rental chain - Avis, Dollar, Thrifty, Budget, Advantage, EZ - in the last year and Enterprise is the bottom of the heap. They insist that you purchase their sham insurance, which often exceeds the cost of the rental, if you don't have your own transferable full-coverage insurance. They do not take third party insurance, such as the excellent rental car coverage offered by Visa, claiming they don't pay claims. That is absurd - I've never heard of Visa not paying a properly submitted claim, and believe me, I've done my homework. NO OTHER RENTAL CAR COMPANY I've experienced has this policy. Of course, they have the right to run their business as they see fit, but here's the problem - they don't inform the customer in any reasonable manner of this condition. Nowhere during the reservation process or in the emailed reservation documents is the insurance requirement mentioned. They wait until the customer is in the office and on the spot before springing this scam. This is obviously unacceptable and totally unlike the service I've encountered at any other rental operation from coast to coast. If they were upfront about their starkly unique requirements, there would be no problem. Their underhanded approach is an outrageous disgrace. I was warned by associates in Mesquite not to even consider doing business here, but the rate seemed too good to be true. That's exactly what it was, and I went up the road to Town East and enjoyed a perfect rental experience with no upselling or sleazy, greasy, lowdown trickery. read more

I have a problem with what Daniel Miller told me about the $ 150 interior clean up charges. He did a dog and pony dance and acted like I turned loose a family of skunks in the car and says he has to send out to an independant source for steam cleaning and fumagation of the interior. The car interior is approx. 70 % vinyl so how do you steam clean that ? You don't you just wipe it down. When he said that It immediately set off my fuse. I told him that was a blatent lie. I am sending Miller an email and asking for the independant clean up receipt with name of company, what was done and amount. This car had 32,721 miles when picked up and interior shows no signs of ever being more than wiped down and vacumed. Now with that said, I believe that Enterprise is just using this as a sham to gouge customers out of addtional money. This is not about money to me but corporate honesty and integrity. At this point, this would fit the bill for a national investigation and class action law suit for making false clean up charges and putting the cars back on the line without anything but a normal wash at the facility. I am a long time Geico customer and was referred to Enterprise by Geico for rental. I will send a copy of this message to Geico and let them know that I will not re-new my current policy at renewal time because of this episode. I have not one doubt that this is a SHAM SHAM SHAM by Enterprise Car Rentals. Again this is not about the $ 150.00, it's about Corporate honesty and integrity. I feel like I was just robbed at gun point and this is just about what happened. The customer service was possibly the worst I've ever experienced. I rented a car from another Enterprise Location,(with excellent service) and after some issues with that car Enterprise customer service sent me to this location to change out the car. After showing up they refused to do the trade, told me I had damaged the car, threatened to submit a repair claim to my insurance, and then finally lied to me and sent me to another Enterprise location who was ultimately unable to help me. (which I'm guessing is why the customer service agent didn't send me to that location in the first place). I was able to get everything sorted out next day at the original location I'd rented from, but having to go that route left me driving an unsafe car. I wouldn't suggest renting a car from these con-artists if you can avoid it. read more

I called the 877 number to set-up a rental. I live in Forney and they told me I could get a car in Forney and gave me a rate. Within 5 minutes Forney called and said they had no cars. Ok, I called Enterprise on Military Parkway, no cars until 3:00P. Called the Enterprise on Galloway they had cars but were higher priced? HUH??? When I asked why; I was told each one sets their own prices. Why can't they tell me where cars are available I asked??? They can't see into another Enterprise computer. OK this is a huge chain and they can only look at their own inventory? This took me 3 hours to find a car. This is ridiculous. Poor service and extremely bad management of inventory. Even the people at the 877 number cannot see the inventories in the stores. Wow!!! read more

Worst experience ever! I will never go back to them again! The girl was beyond rude and didn't try to help me. I made a reservation the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and I was told that the vehicle I had reserved was unavailable. The girl there did not try to go out of her way to accomodate me. Her manager was not that much helpful either. After being charged $450.00 in deposit fees and out of state fees, I will not go back! The customer service there was beyond horrible!!! It sad because I've rented there plenty of times with different people of course and have never been this displeased until now! read more
