    Writing a review based on our experience about two weeks ago…read more.. My husband and I flew in unexpectedly from LV due to a death in a family. Only anyone who has ever been in this situation understands the planning on a last minute flight, hotel and other arrangements are unbearably stressful and nothing anyone is ever ready for. Yet, here I am in a hotel room late at night, trying to piece together the next few days of our arrival. I was so exhausted that I booked the wrong date when reserving the rental thinking it was the next day. Next day, my husband and I get up early and uber to Enterprise. We checked in and found that I had booked the wrong date. Please note, the staff were not aware why we are in town. The young lady told us not to worry and was able to adjust the date and get us a rental. The car was ready to go and had just been maintenanced inspected. I was so thankful and relieved and everyone was so personable and friendly. I could not express how nice everyone was. She was able to answer all our questions including the toll fees and how they work. As far as the vehicle itself, Smooth ride, we never had any issues and we had the same great experience when we turned the car back in. When we turned the vehicle in, there were a few guests in front of us, the wait was reasonable and we received wonderful genuine service. We all made small talk as we waited for our Uber to get there and take us back to the airport and they even said good bye and wished us safe travels. This location was easy to find, Storefront is clean including waiting area and restrooms. I really appreciate this experience during a hard time and making it a smooth as possible.

    I should not have to take out special insurance to cover your car against act of God like…read morehailstorms and tornadoes. As the owner of that asset, you should be insured for this and I should not have to pay for this damage. You did not used to do this. I am not sure when you started, but that's bad customer service. You guys are forcing me to buy the alternate insurance so that I don't have to pay out-of-pocket from my deductible in the event that this new vehicle that I'm renting also gets damaged by hail. I think if I have to have this insurance, you should be billing my insurance company for it. If you rent, beware.

I have to say, the folks a this Avis station are some of the nicest I have every worked with. I needed a rental while my car was in the shop for hail damage repair. The rental would be paid by my insurance company. The Avis staff take care of setting up the direct billing set up. OK, that is expected. Before my insurance company would approve the rental, they told Avis to tell me they wanted proof that my car was really in the shop, what shop the car was in, and how long would the car be in the shop. The Avis staff called me for the shop name and phone number. They then called the sop and got all the information the insurance company was asking for and worked with my insurance company to get everything set up. I didn't have to do anything else. The Avis staff went past what I expected them to do. The allowed rental reimbursement from my insurance company is minimal and would barely cover the cost of the dumpiest and smallest rental car from any rental car company. Again, this station worked with me and gave me a clean new car that far exceeded what I expected to get for the amount the insurance company was willing to pay. I really appreciate the great customer services I received a this Avis station. I wish they were all as good as these folks.

    I had a very disappointing experience with an attendant at your location on Sunday, May 24, 2026…read more When I arrived, the attendant was helping another customer who did not want the vehicle offered to her due to a smoke smell that aggravated her asthma. He then offered her an electric vehicle, but she did not feel comfortable accepting it. I waited patiently for approximately 15 minutes while this situation was being discussed. After waiting, I politely asked, "Can I return my car?" because I realized the intermediate/compact vehicle I was returning could potentially solve the issue for the customer he was assisting. Instead of responding professionally, the attendant became dismissive and rude, replying with attitude, "Why didn't you just say that?" I explained that he had not asked why I was there and that I was simply trying to help, since my returned vehicle may have fit the customer's needs. Rather than acknowledging this, he abruptly grabbed the keys from my hand and continued acting dismissively. What made the interaction especially frustrating is that I had even returned the vehicle hours earlier than scheduled. A simple proactive question to waiting customers about whether they were picking up or returning vehicles could have helped the situation significantly and improved the experience for everyone involved. While I understand customer service environments can be stressful, professionalism and respectful communication should still be maintained. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers are treated with more courtesy and consideration.

    I'm not happy and I don't care of the owner (Tall, older Arabian man) sees this review…read more I booked a car online for 30 days and I was given a discount since the booking was a month long. While working with the cashier, I heard the owner loudly asking the cashier if I had two credit cards to put on file since I was from out of state. When he replied that I showed him to cards, the owner appeared surprised. I can't say it was profiling but it sure felt like it because the owner was not pleasant towards me. The price for the 30 day rental $921.00. A few days prior to the 30th day of my rental, I found out I would be needing the car longer. I called the shop and unfortunately, the owner answered the phone. Of course, he remembered me and I explained to him that I would be needing the car longer. He clearly stated, "coming in around the 30th day of your reservation and I will extended your reservation for you for the same rate you're currently paying". Sounds good to me. I go to the shop to return the vehicle and rent it again at the same time. I told the owner I wouldn't need it for another 30 days but maybe 10-15. He prints out a receipt for a 10 day rental for the same car that I've had for 30 days and the total was $700. Huh? I questioned why it was only $200 less than the 30 day rental I had. He said I had a 30 day rental discount but that he would "help me and give me the original rate". He played with the numbers for awhile and printed another receipt which said $500. I thought this was still rather high but the daily rate printed on the receipt matched the rate on the 30 days reservation I had. Ultimately, I kept the car for 17 days. I acknowledge that forgot to the fill up the gas tank before dropping the car off after hours. The gas tank was half full instead of completely full. I called them the next morning and told them I forgot to fill it up and if it was possible to give me deal on the re-fill charge. The owner said yes. He reduced the gas fee from $75 to 40 (FYI - A full tank only costs my $50). I asked him to email me a copy of the final receipt. To my surprise, the grand total was $900! HUH!!?!? After reviewing the invoice, not only did he charge me fees that I wasn't charged on the first reservation (what is a $60 "miscellaneous" fee?"), he increased the rental rate on the weekends. None of this made any sense and he didn't have a valid response to any of my questions. A 30 day rental is $920 and a 17 day rental is $900??? Scam! The owner said the best the could do was give me a discount on the gas fee. Just book your rental at DFW and avoid these people altogther!

I said I was calling just to make sure you have the car, because I don't want to drive there when the roads are icy to find out they don't have a car... he confirmed they have it. 30 minutes later we arrived and (guess what?) They don't have economy cars left and only have more expensive cars . My friend told the guy that he should honor the price, the guy said "I don't have to do anything" . My friend said that was bullshit and the guy started screaming like a mad man and telling us to "get out!!" Beware as he will lie to you and try to scam you. Find someone else

    Rockwall Location: AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE…read more I needed to rent a car to drive to a funeral in Oklahoma, and this was the only place in my area that had any cars to rent on short notice (3 days). I reserved the car online and my mother paid for it since I do not use credit cards. When I went to pick up the car, they wanted to see the card that was used for the reservation, which I did not have since my mother was already in Oklahoma. I got the card number from my mother and they accepted it. Then they needed a card for a $250 deposit. They needed a physical card so I gave them my debit card. My account had MUCH more money in it than they required, but they declined it with no explanation. At this point they just wanted to give me a phone number to call for a refund of the rental and get me out of their store. I did not need a refund, I needed a CAR! They did not care about my problem, they did not even TRY to find any solutions. They did not even care that they were turning away business! I told them to stop and wait. I had to have my wife come in who DOES have a credit card that we only use for emergencies. So they canceled my reservation and reworked it with HER as the driver. She wasn't even going on the TRIP! Eventually they let me have the car, and the car itself was great. But the ladies at the rental office were rude and uncaring, and have ZERO concept of customer service. It was such a negative experience that, no, I will NEVER use their services again, and no, I would NEVER recommend them for anyone else.
