Terrible experience. Only giving one star because i can't give zero. I was on a road trip and a herd of elk crossed in front of me. I hit at least four of them and totaled my car. I don't have a credit card nor does my bank have any branches out here. They refused to use my debit card, my mom's credit card over the phone, my friend's business account and credit card attached. No matter that i could have paid cash in full or with debit. Finally the manager walked over and said we can't use debit. I told him i was trying to use a business account. He said he can't and that they wouldn't help me. No options, no other locations, no information, no help in any way. He was very rudel. Why do you need a credit card to rent a car? This manager seemed genuinely concerned with keeping my business and correcting the situation. COVID or no COVID, they are blaming having not ONE car at the airport on the pandemic. The truth is that they overbooked business knowing full well there would be nothing available. Kim who is working the desk said "well you were the ones that chose to travel during a pandemic", attitude and lack of accepting responsibility for booking business and leaving people stranded. Very friendly staff, at least around noon last Friday. I appreciated that they were not pushy with the add-ons or upgrades, either. The Buick Verano/Lacrosse(?) I received had a bit of a rattle/squeak at first coming from where the dashboard meets the windshield, but it dissipated after about ten minutes. It briefly returned a couple of times during the trip, but ultimately that's not really Enterprise's fault. That being said, it would be nice if they had more import models to choose from. The only option besides the Buick was a Ford Taurus in that category. I would much prefer a Camry or Sonata, especially since the Buick got pretty poor gas mileage. read more

Quick, painless and professional. Just the way I like it. I am a big fan of Enterprise. They may not be the cheapest, but they do offer the best service. Worst experience ever. I hit a deer and needed a one-way rental to complete my roadtrip. I reserved online, and the vehicle wasn't made available to me. Despite me offering to do more than is reasonable (including a several thousand dollar deposit), having a clean driving record, they refused to rent me a vehicle because I only had a debit card on me, not a credit card (and Bank of America didn't have a branch anywhere in the state to issue one- I called and was immediately approved and the card issued, but they demanded the piece of plastic, not just numbers). Even calling corporate and having a 15 minute conversation in which I had their representative laughing about Enterprise's unwillingness to work with me, I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone willing to make an exception to their 'policy.' They wouldn't accept someone at another Enterprise branch paying for the vehicle and assuming liability, etc. Enterprise needs to either honor the deals they post online or not offer them. And they were unwilling to refund what I'd already paid for extra insurance on a car they wouldn't rent me. Do yourself a favor- avoid them at all costs. It would be physically impossible to provide worse service, and to give less of a care about the difficulty they have created, so please use someone else. read more

Terrible customer service with Enterprise! So many problems were made on a one day rental that it's now four weeks after the rental that I was able to prove that the car was returned on time to the location promised. Weeks of dealing with this asking for various managers to contact me while my bill reached over $3000 and at every turn I was being lied to about the security footage not showing the car or even a car of the same model being returned that day. We told them that we took a picture of the dash upon drop off to prove we filled the tank, this was at 4:19pm. All they had to do was give some effort to review the footage around that time period. The regional manager got involved after getting nowhere with the branch for way too long and suddenly they found the car that same day the regional manager reviewed the footage of the car being returned. Want to know what time it was returned? 4:15pm. Weeks passed as I waited for them to review that footage while my bill increased by the day. I honestly believe they never tried. Want to know the excuse for why they didn't recognize the car this whole time? The invoice said it was grey but it was actually silver! So I get an email of the additional charges being dropped today, ok. Still no phone call with apology from that regional manager who found the car? Instead I just get the bill of $200 for the day rental via email. Really Enterprise?! If I was that manager and saw that the customer was telling the truth this whole time and cared about the trouble they went through even in the smallest amount I would have immediately personally called them to apologize reassure them this will be rectified. Your sinking so low right now that you still charge me $200 for this headache and my time lost at work fighting everyday for weeks?! Still No apology. Still waiting to see how the Enterprise Corporate office is going to rectify this situation. They have been involved for the last week, still nothing. You think they would want to make this right and regain my trust in their company. You think they would want to learn more about what went wrong to prevent this from happening to future customers. Not once has a manager called me, I have had to get on the phone everyday multiple times, talk to two branches and the Corporate office wasting my time getting no where. Every time I asked for managers to call me. Still as of today not once has anyone from this entire company reached out to me. Not once! Enterprise there is not one thing you can type in response to my post that will make this better. You have let this fester too long. Pick up the damn phone. When I did get the local branch manager I was told his employees never passed my number to him every time I called to speak to him. He never once tried calling the 2! phone numbers on the contract. What a pathetic excuse. When I asked if he cared to find this car his response was "It's not my money". Well buddy it is your money now because I'll be shocked if you still have a job after this. The branch renting the car out forgot to include the state which the license plate was from on the invoice and repeatedly I was asked for it. You think if that was so important it would be on the invoice?! I was told these security cameras were put in place just weeks before I rented the car. I'd be looking at a stolen car report and insurance claim right now without those cameras and probably a law suit because Enterprise does not care! When I talked to Corporate today the license number I read to them from the invoice didn't match what their files had. They still don't know the exact car they rented to me and without that footage they would have never known they gave us the wrong car. We would be being accused of stealing a car we never even touched! Imagine if this happened to you from a one day rental? I asked where is the car now? "It has probably been rented out, we are not sure". Guess what, I told that branch manager that they probably did not check it in correctly and rented it out and that is why it was not on their lot anymore. I asked if he looked the car up to see if it had been re-rented. He said he had. Who knows?! They don't even know the car they are looking for. I wouldn't believe a word he says anyway. He did not care to do his job so hopefully he won't have to for much longer. If you rent a car from this company be prepared to cover your ass. Take pictures of the plate, VIN, outside of the car... do whatever you can to protect yourself because THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER! read more

This has got to be the worst I have ever been treated by Enterprise! A newbie behind the counter that is not sure what he is doing, not the way I want to be greeted! I have been Elite for 4 years straight and it did not matter to this location, not even knowing that I can have free upgrades! Wanted to charge twice the normal rental fee! unreal. Absolutely terrible experience with Enterprise at the Missoula airport, they are outright dishonest, poor customer service, and poor maintenance on the cars. I reserved a full-size car, but was given what appeared to be the smallest compact car on the lot (a Volkswagen Bug). Thinking it must be a simple mistake, I questioned the staff who not only insisted this tiny clown car was not a compact, but tried to tell me how it was really a free "upgrade". You can't make this stuff up, I turned the car in, had to pay for a full size despite being given a compact, and then rented from Avis (much better). Seriously would have loved to see any of the Enterprise employees fit into this tiny 2-door Volkswagen Beetle, ride around the block, and then tell me with a straight face that it is appropriately categorized as a full sized car. No way you can fit 3 normal-sized adults into that car, and fitting 2 normal sized adults was quite a challenge, but no room for any sort of luggage larger than your briefcase. Also had to deal with a lot of little maintenance problems, door handles that didn't work, wipers old/cracked and generally non-functional, headlights were not functioning. DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE, it is well worth your money to rent from ANY of the other rental counters - they all seemed to provide great customer service. read more
