Person answered to say I didn't reach the front desk, they couldn't transfer me / didn't know the number, told me to Google the hotel number then hung up on me. Rude. Property is somewhere between a nice motel 6 and low level Best Western. Does come with a full kitchen, which is nice. Room was clean and solid.

It's also near the library which is brand new and has amazing facilities. We even reserved a meeting room on the too floor! There aren't any cons, except for lots of stairs and creaky floors. We didn't hear our neighbors at all. There was a shania twain concert when we were there, held at the Washington-Grizzly Stadium. We could hear it pretty well from our room! I seriously felt more like I was housesitting for a friend - all the comforts were there. It didn't feel stingy or sterile or manufactured like so many 'commercial' lodgings frequently do, and the ones that don't cost more than twice what the Wilma Condo charges. Everything was modern and nice, but with an eye everywhere to practicality and treading lightly on the environment, which are big pluses with me. A lot of things that didn't need to be provided were: quality soap and shampoo in the shower, nice cotton towels and bedding , and a kitchen ready for your gourmet imagination. Did I mention the fantastic views of 270 degrees of Missoula out the huge windows?! The owner was more than accommodating, especially as I'm one of those 'canary in a coal mine' fragile flowers that could drive your average proprietor crazy. An adjoining unit hosted a large dog, who barked at length several times one day, anytime it could hear someone in the hallway. The owner acted immediately when I notified him of this, getting the dog's owner to intervene - problem solved. There were also a few bumps with check-in and check-out, which he handled with grace and generosity. I am going to offer a few caveats to the uninitiated and sensitive folk out there. While you can take these as dings, they are not intended as such, and I don't consider them the owner's fault. The issue is really one of inappropriate mixed-use of the building. The street on which the Wilma is located, Higgins Avenue, is one of the busiest in Missoula, and seems to draw a lot of hollering young folk and large diesel pickups driven more like urban boomcars. Think twice if quiet is especially important to you. Also take stock of what concerts are slated for the Wilma during the time you plan to stay in the condo - bass-heavy music like hip-hop is audible through the *entire building*, even eight floors up. I was assailed by two nights in a row of this, the second night well past 11pm.

I made a reservation for this property through Expedia a few months ago…read more We tried to check in at 10:30 PM on June 19 after attending a music festival. We were informed that Expedia had canceled our reservation that day and there were no rooms. I called Expedia and they told me it was an active Reservation on their end and it was not canceled. We were told by the hotel staff that, regardless, they were completely sold out. The first associate to help us was Trey, and as his shift was ending, he handed us over to Luann. Luann was very apologetic and gave us a long list of hotels to call, and after almost 20 phone calls, every single place was sold out because of the music festival. I asked if there were any no-shows and was told that at 2:30 AM, if there was a no-show for the one room currently unoccupied, we could probably purchase it. We were exhausted after the music festival, but we went to wait in our car and at 2:30am I went in to ask about the hotel room. Luann informed me that Corina, her manager, had said that she now needed to wait until 4 AM after audit before releasing any rooms. At this point, my daughter and I just tried our best to sleep in the car in the parking lot. Needless to say, 0/10 stars. I contacted Expedia again this morning on 6/20 and received written confirmation that it was showing as an active Reservation on their end. They said there's no way that they would've called to cancel the reservation. The fact that there was still an open room at 2:30 in the morning, and they would not release it to us after their own error, is unfathomable to me. They kept pushing the blame on Expedia and as you can see, we have documentation that Expedia did not cancel this reservation. While I feel Luann was personally sympathetic, nothing translated into actions to correct this error and I would not recommend Comfort Inn based on this. As a sidenote, when we arrived and were waiting in line, we observed Trey speaking very disrespectfully to another guest on the phone who he was blaming for a glitch in their reservation. The language he used, and the tone was very disrespectful. Then when we stepped up and our reservation was canceled as well, he was not helpful.
