If you are trying to go out of town on a Monday do not rent a car from here. If you think you were going to pick it up at 8 AM try them calling you that morning and saying the car won't be ready until at least noon and then they don't even have the car that you rented. IMonroeville, PA Enterprise is horrible customer services. We recently needed to rent a car for a week due to a personal car issue for our 23 year old daughter to be able to use. I called the Enterprise # to reserve a car explained what we needed and for who and the representative confirmed all our needs and and recieved a confirmation and drove to the car rental. When we arrived we proceeded to begin the paper work and the agent told us the only car he had was a truck style and my 23 year old driver was not authorized to drive it. We we shared that we had already communicated our needs to the representative on the phone and she confirmed all was in line and this location had availability, he said "well we don't have anything for you." and forcefully pushed our drivers licenses back in our faces. He was a horrible representative with absolutely no empathy or support to offer us. We will NEVER use Enterprise again. Do NOT rent from Enterprise Monroeville, PA. read more

I totally stand behind my first review regarding my experience, and was quite shocked that one of the business owners had asked me to email my info I am guessing to get more information out of me regarding my experience. So I do. And here is why I am updating my review. They weren't at the auto body shop at 10:30 as requested. The shop called them and they didn't get there for 20 minutes. The gal that brought the car was clearly in a bad mood. She was not pleasant, told me next to nothing about the car and left. Also there was only 1/4 tank of gas. Not a good experience. read more

Do not rent from this location. My dad rented a vehicle on Sat 5/23/20 for my sister who lives in Phoenix, AZ. She was flying into Norfolk. VA for a vacation to Duck, NC on Sun. The intentions for use of the vehicle were made very clear to the representative at this location. We used a corporate discount (no additional cost for up to 9 drivers.) My parents added me as a driver so someone else would be able to drive the car. We were told that my sister, who was not present at the time of the rental, could go to an enterprise location in AZ, present her drivers license and be added to the contract as long as she gave them the vehicle ID number off the key which started with a 7. He also stated that we could not have her added at the Norfolk airport because their system is different. We left without the contract paperwork for the vehicle because we were told due to Covid-19 all paperwork was being emailed. My sister went to 3 different locations in AZ and was told she could not be added as a driver on the vehicle unless the person who signed the contract was present. One location in AZ stated they would call this location however because of the time difference they were already closed. Since my sister could not be added as a driver my parents who rented the car had to drive their own car to Norfolk for my sister, to make matters worse Enterprise never emailed my parents the contract. So now we have a rental car that my sister can't drive and no paperwork to show of the vehicle was in an accident or pulled over. On Monday I contacted Enterprise Corporate customer service and spoke with Derik explained the situation. He told me that the enterprise policy was that you can only add a driver at the time of the rental who needed a drivers license and a credit card. I was placed as a driver and did not need to present a credit card. When I expressed my concerns about the reason we rented the car, my sister not being able to use it, not having paperwork for it and my parents having a $200 hold placed on their card, in addition to what they paid for the week, Derik had nothing to offer except to email the contract. It has been 2 hrs and we still do not have the paperwork. I asked to speak with the escalation department, Derik stated, "I am the escalation dept". I asked for the manager Derik said "I am the manager". I asked to speak with someone above him and he stated there was no one above him! I will never rent from Enterprise again. The sole purpose for renting the vehicle was for my sister. They lied to get my dad to rent a car under the assumption my sister could be added after..... placed a $200 hold on their card, on top of the rental cost and never sent the contract. read more

I have conducted business twice with Enterprise Car Sales department and each time I've gotten newly used vehicles. But that's not the full reason for the review. The overall customer service of each representative was above and beyond to better assist the customer. It was genuine concerns about what I needed and what was in my budget. Very glad I made the decision to deal with them. read more

Do not rent from this location. My father and my sister rented a vehicle with the intention on allowing myself to be added to the vehicle when they picked me up in Norfolk, Va from Phoenix, Arizona. The vehicle was rented for my use only. They confirmed with the location that i could be added to the contract. So with that information they rented the vehicle. I then spent the day traveling to 3 different Phoenix locations with the information this location advised with each location advising that this isn't even a possible. On top of them misleading to get the vehicle they charged us double the fees for the extra driver. When we have a corporate account that allows up to 9 drivers for zero additional fees. So now we have a rental in North Carolina that I can not drive and was double charged. We rent from enterprise consistently. The icing on the cake is we never even received the contract to allow the drivers that were listed to even drive the car legally. Ridiculous. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. If zero stars was available that would be my recommendation. My family went to rent a vechile and add my sister who lives in AZ added as a driver. I was told that she can go to any location in AZ and add onto the contract. That was not a true statement. Then they held an additional 200 over my cost for a deposit that was never even mentioned to me. I also never received a email copy of my contract. So I rented a vechile for my sister to use and she can't even drive it because I was told one thing and it was actually another. My father drove the vechile all the way to vacation without receiving a copy of the contract. We contacted corporate and spoke with a guy named Derek who claims he was the highest person in escalation department. He had a different story then what the location told me originally. Since when does an additional driver on a rental need to provide their credit card, they are not the paying party. Deposits are to be mentioned at time of contract not just taken and held without informing. Had we also known that we wouldn't be able to add my sister, we would have never rented the vechile from you. Your customer service reps need a policy review meeting, because they are telling about policies that either have changed or are not accurate on the information. Do not rent from this company as they are not even sure what their policies are. read more

I have been using Enterprise Rent a Car since they opened in Murrysville PA and have always received exceptional service by the staff. Today I had an emergency situation and could not reach anyone by phone and when I arrived there the doors were locked. The posted hours state 10 am the phone and Web show 9 am to 2 pm along with the recording stating 9 am to 2 pm. No one ever answered the phone with 5 calls from 9:05 am to 9:33 am I tried on both listed phone numbers. I then called Monroeville's number which showed 9 am to noon which connected me to a funeral home. I found another number for Monroeville which confirmed the hours of both Monroeville and Murrysville. Certainly businesses are entitled to change their hours but you would think that a large business like this that advertises as a "family business" in a corporate world would take the time to correct their information that is supplied to the public. Very disappointed and hope this review catches their attention to make the corrections. I dont think that Mr Taylor would be proud as this is not what made him a the 12 billion dollar man and a great businessman. read more
