I am an avid Enterprise Rental Customer for years and I am appalled at how their responses and communication has changed. It used to be you felt they were the best rental company it appears that they have now come in line with just being average. I made a reservation for a truck due to having to move some items rental was confirmed. They did call early that morning and advised they didn't have truck but would call around different locations and get one for me,I called back assured they was working on it.i called their customer service was advised different policies for each location as to if your rental would be available per your reservation. Ask to have district manager reach out day and half out no return call or follow up. So if you have important business and need a specific vehicle from Enterprise you may want to have a back up plan. read more

My car died and was towed to my mechanic so I came here to rent a car until my dealership had a loaner. They gave me a nicer car than I thought I was getting and were incredibly understanding about how my plans kept changing. Everyone was polite, courteous and nice. I would definitely use them again. read more

This branch is not good. We had a reservation for a car after our car was in an accident. The first issue was we got there and no car was available and he said no other branches had any so tough luck (not sure how he knew this without making one phone call). Our insurance would only go through them and we finally got a car a few days later, it did not drive right, so we had to return it. But the real kicker was after we dropped off the car we were charged over 200 for a detail because they said there was a very strong odor in the car (I smelled nothing), and we were smoking in the car (we weren't). This is just a scam to pass their cleaning costs on to customers. It seems like a very convenient excuse that there was an odor which is impossible to disprove. Total bs. read more

Good car options and price. Just dont have car issues on the road. Had a tire sidewall show a bump (mechanical failure) while in travel fron baltimore, md to Dubuke, IA. I called the 877 numberver and they directed me ti an office in Columbus Ohio (Morse Rd) because they had inventory to reolace my full size car. Got there ti be told, 10 min before closing, that they could not take the car, because I got it at an airport. Went to the Airport and best they could do was offer me a pickup truck or a Fiesta.(for the price of the full size). I asked ti have them bring another 'similar car' to my own and they told me no. scheduled a minivan for my family and I to go visit my father with cancer. needed to pick it up first thing before work, I was told that it would not be ready the morning of. i told owner (John) I could not make it any later than originally planned that morning and would come after work, he tried to work with my wife to get there around 10:30 and she ended up not being able to find a ride. I was not called and she was not called. I showed up and then was informed after work that the car was given to someone else with no call to me beforehand. the owner (John) told me he "went off my wife's word" and didnt seem to care he destroyed our plans and offered no consolation for my time wasted. read more

After returning my car after a month, they looked the car over, gave me a receipt. Didn't take it to a mechanic or anything. The employee then took the car and arranged a ride home for me so I could go to work. When giving the car to another customer while I was waiting the employee called me out to look at a scratch and accused me of scratching the car. I already got my receipt and was not the last person driving the car. They then made me talk to someone on the phone and had my ride home give someone else a ride home, making me late for work. I'm just not sure how long I'm supposed to be responsible for the car. I was told everything was good. They then tried to take me to court over it but joke was on them. I was no longer responsible for the car. They will treat you terribly and waste your time. You would be better off renting a uhaul, buying a bike, or just walking. read more

Mr. Shapley and Mr. Wallace are both horrible people. Horrible customer service they did not honor our reservation and then we made a new reservation and they tried to charge us $90 additional a day on top of our original reservations. I am very disappointed in there service as we had to go receive a rental car in a different location. Highly recommend going to a different enterprise and not dealing with these people. read more

I have been meaning to write this review since July 2020 but between one thing and another I never got around to it! These 5 starts are only for the Management Assistant called Dre Lane who I had the pleasure of meeting when I went into this office hoping to rent an SUV for the 3-4 months I was scheduled to be in Md. I never did end up renting here because they did not have any inventory that day but I will never forget how professional Dre was! I thought to myself this kind of professionalism and kindness is so refreshing to see in such a young person. Dre ....if you still work there...Enterprise is very very very fortunate to have you and I sincerely hope they recognize your talent. You will go very far young man. Do not rent from the Pasadena Md location. I was not given the change to inspect my rental. I noticed damage the next morning and took pictures for my own protection and now they are trying to hold me responsible to pay for the damage. I am sorry This is Bs! I would give zero stars but I did at least get to reserve a car. But I may reduce it to a "one star", depending on my experience after dropping the car off. There were issues from the BEGINNING! I made a reservation to be picked up from the car delership, that was repairing my vehicle, DAYS PRIOR to dropping my vehicle off. On the day of my drop off, no one showed up. I called enterprise to verify my "pick up" and Chris (manager) informed me that the reservation was reserved as a "walk in". Makes no sense. After waiting for someone to pick me up (about 20+ minutes after the agreed pick up time) I began the reservation process inside of enterprise. I felt rushed. To make matters worse, the only car they had to offer, close to mine, had scratches and dents. I immediately took pictures as I urged the young lady Alexis to document the marks on the car. She then asked if I wanted their extended coverage and explained the charges and conditions. I agreed and signed. She then handed me the keys and explained some of the features of the car. A few days later an extension was made on the amount of time I needed the rental because my car repairs were not done. I had no issues here. Then a few days later, on CHRISTMAS EVE, I received a call from Chris (manager) that they needed to make additional charges to continue the extended coverage. I told him I wanted to opt out and he informed me I needed to bring the car in for them to inspect the vehicle and for me to waive the converse. It was AFTER 2PM and they close at 3PM!!! I expressed to him I didn't appreciate being informed so very last minute and his response was they rent "over 200" vehicles and can't keep up with every customer! Sounds more like a SCAM to get more money out of customers to me! I rushed to enterprise so I would get there before they closed (very inconvenient). He then tells me I owe them about $25 because my extended coverage went over a day. I told him when I signed for the extended coverage, the charges were explained to me by Alexis and the amounts he was telling me were not consistent. He actually had the nerve to say she may have "calculated it wrong!" I told him I didn't have the money and he said I can pay it after I drop the vehicle off. I don't know if all enterprise locations are this unprofessional but I would avoid this location (Pasadena)! Horrible experience! As if dealing with someone hitting my car wasn't bad enough but they did not make it any better. What a horrible way to spend the day before Christmas. Completely ruined my mood for the day. My vehicle is due later this week and I will update my experience, depending on how it goes. Update: (12/31/18) I dropped my rental vehicle off at enterprise on Saturday (12/29/18). I interacted with Alexis and Amber (asst manager). They made my checkout experience easy and was very apologetic about the confusion that occurred. Amber looked over my agreement and account and fixed the issues I had. I appreciate their customer service. read more

I cannot begin to express how horrible the customer service we received in this location was. While I realize the strawberry blonde desk girl was entirely incapable of helping us, she did not even offer the courtesy of expressing a patronizing apology... but she was full of whatever attitude would be considered strict opposition to quality customer service. Enterprise, you have lost both of us as a customers after this. Your customer service was poor before this, but after this nightmare, I'm done. We were delayed 4 hours for our trip and no longer have a car. Please, avoid this location if at all possible. There are Hertz and Avis locations near by. Oh, and Enterprise, fire that strawberry blonde gal with the mustache or you won't have any customers before long! read more

My car had mechanical issues as I was on my way to work. I had to quickly get my car to the shop and quickly get a rental car. Enterprise picked me up from the auto repair shop within 30 minutes of nearra's Irving my car, quickly got my rental car and I made it to work! Great service, friendly and quick! read more

I have always rented from Enterprise Rental Car up until now. I have never dealt with the Pasadena location because I heard they were not so nice, and have always dealt with the Ritchie Hwy location in Glen Burnie. I decided to use this location since it is closer to me. I was treated like trash by a Manager and will never use their services or go to this location again. Everything I heard was true that you will be treated with no respect, and I definitely was. What I was quoted, was not what I was told when I got there, and when I questioned it, the girl told me that her Area Manager quoted me that so it is right. If you get a quote, get it in writing there. I don't recommend their location at all. Left and rented from Hertz with no problems. read more

This place is a bunch of con artists they will try to rip you off and claim Damage to a car that is in the same condition as when it went out. They barely look at the car when they do a "walk around" on checkout and then they comb it with a magnifying glass when you bring it back. Be very very very careful If you are forced to rent from them. Otherwise go with someone else. The cars they rent are dirty, they do not wash them. For a week we truly enjoyed our 'stay' with Enterprise (specifically this location). Janay was our 'host'. We had to wait for a big enough vehicle to be available for us; however once it was ready things were smooth sailing. We got a luxury 205 Suburban LTZ which was AWESOME. They picked us up. They locked us in to a gas rate of 2.45 (cheap for the present moment). We did have a full tank. After a few day in we had a nail in the tire. They sent us right over to Firestone who took great care of us and found that the nail did not puncture the tire. All good. Just an overall great experience with the vehicle and customer service. When it was time to return the vehicle that process went smooth as well. They dropped us off and left us in good spirits. Thank you Enterprise! read more

I made a reservation 1.5 hours in advance, online. I received a confirmation number yet the reservation is not being honored. I was told that (a) the reservation should have been made 24 hours in advance, (b) there is no way to rectify the issue unless I want to upgrade to the available vehicles which are $150 more than the reserved car. They transferred me to another location that also only had cars in the $200 range, for one day. The second location said the proper procedure is to upgrade to the available car but charge the reserved price. I'm on the phone with corporate right now. Completely unsatisfied. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!!! Apparently they have a practice of charging for damage that occurred on a previous rental. They charged me for a dent that didn't occur while the vehicle was in my possession. The day I picked up the vehicle it was raining, I apparently missed a small dent because it is hard to detect them in the rain. When I returned the vehicle, which I had no incidents while in my possession, they charged me for the repair. It was my word against theirs, and my word meant nothing. Not only was I treated rudely and with poor customer service at this branch, but they tried to charge me for false damage to the car.

We rented a car while ours was in the shop after a serious accident. After a few weeks, my husband was opening the rear drivers side door to put our baby in the car seat and the door fell off in his hand. He managed to hold onto the door (and the baby) without dropping either. When he took the car back to enterprise, they apologized for the incident. About a week later enterprise called saying we are being charged for damages. Not only that, but they said when my husband brought the car back, he said he slipped and grabbed the door wrenching it from the car, which is a complete lie. There is also a witness who saw the door fall off. They also put a charge on his credit card, maxing it out. Needless to say, we have returned the car and are going with another company. I have seen other reviews of people being charged for damages they did not cause by enterprise now that this has happened, please be warned. read more
