We had a great rental experience with Enterprise in Pickerington. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I would not recommend this location to anyone! My primary vehicle had to go into repair, and yes, I did purchase their vehicle insurance coverage-so that my insurance would not have to cover if something happened to the vehicle while in my possession. My car has been in the shop for repairs 18 days. They called me, while I was at work, stating that they needed me to pay $700 immediately to cover the charge. I told the CSR that, I did not have that sort of money readily available, as I have lost my primary job. She kept escalating the issue pressuring for the money. I politely told them that, at this time (mind you, I'm at work and not able to speak to anyone about borrowing the money or returning the car) they decided to TAKE $200 from my bank account towards the balance due leaving me with $0 in my account. This was a charge that I did not authorize! Furthermore, they failed to notify me that they would be closing at 12PM that day. By 1PM the same day, they had taken the money from my account and left me with $0 in my account, after I had told them that I did not have the money to give them at the time of their call. I do not get paid for another 11 days. I told them I would see what I could do or return the car. They took the money anyway!!! creating an unauthorized charge. I now have no money for food, gas, or medical appointments I have to go to this week! I cannot meet basic needs now because of this unauthorized transaction! Taking this charge financially crippled me until 6/10-when I get my next paycheck from the former employer-especially after I told them that the money was not available at this time. Please note, my car will not be ready until 6/5-which means I'll have to speak with someone to borrow the funds and be my transportation! They refused to give me time to do this! And decided, instead, to TAKE FROM MY ACCOUNT WHATEVER THEY COULD!!!! I called my bank; to dispute the transaction AND I called Enterprise CSR line. Of course, with it being Saturday, not much can be done. Both entities stated that once I told them that I did not have/could not get the funds at the time of their call, should have dropped the issue. I can pay whatever I owe when I return the car. My primary car will not be ready for another 6 days (6/5), they further agree that if this was an issue, this location should have called me sooner to address it and not hit me with it in the manner they did. Furthermore, both entities agreed that if I had to go out of town and was relying on this money to return home, I would be stranded. To take any sort of payment without authorization is not okay, especially, when it was clear that, at the particular time of the call, the money was not available to take. Communication on their end of this matter earlier would have been the better customer service practice or even allowing me to pay what I owed when I returned the car (this would have bought time to get the money owed). Now, I have to rely on others to get me around until my car is out of the shop... this is not okay by any stretch of the imagination!! I had thought about taking the loud 2024 Toyota Corolla back tomorrow (Sunday) however, they will charge me for the extra day of coverage. Businesses need to learn to not do these things. I booked my car online. Prior to my arrival unbeknownst, to me, they had twenty minutes prior to my scheduled arrival.To let me know that they didn't have a vehicle in stock for me anymore. Instead of helping me with the problem, they said that I would have to call corporate because you know it's not their problem. I asked if they could call another dealership to see if there was another car available elsewhere to which they also told me that I needed to do that. They don't have the ability to call the other stores apparently. Enterprise needs an overhaul on its website, if it doesn't advertise the correct vehicles, it should not let me book if there is not a car available. My review would be negative if I could, Rented a vehicle for a single day business trip, I arrive with no one in the lobby, I was checked in and was told they were almost done cleaning the car should be just a few minutes....... Several others arrived behind me so I went to give my fiancé the keys to my car to head home, I turn around to witness the individual who was to be cleaning the car taking Selfies versus completing the ob so I could leave..... 30 minutes later after helping everyone in front me I get the keys, Im on my way and 2 miles down the road the backup mirror falls off the dashboard... I turn around and head back to get a new car (tank only half full, no big deal I will stop on the way home to fill up before tomorrows trip).... life is good right, finally heading home an hour later......... fast forward to the next morning of my trip, half way from Columbus to Kentucky (Cincinnati proper) in traffic the car DIES... no hazards, no neutral to move the car, dead in the middle of rush hour in the middle of heavy traffic... pouring down rain, 39 degrees and dark out..... traffic almost hit us SEVERAL times..... called the local office, not open... called the emergency line, they "Put in a ticket for road side service, could be up to 2 hours before I get service"... did I mention Im in the middle of traffic, raining and 39 degrees..... called the local police to assist so we weren't in a horrible accident and they came to sit behind us providing us some protection. AAA called me to let me know a battery truck was on the way, talked to the tow truck driver who was 45 minutes away and he let me know he probably couldn't help us and we would need a tow truck..... Enterprise called me back on an automated number to let me know my "Ticket" was cancelled.... tried to call back, no answer, in the mean time the cops explained they couldn't have us just sit in the middle of a main road for 2 hours... we tried everything to override to get it into neutral.... nothing... eventually the cops called a local tow truck... great... now who is paying for this tow and how do we get home to columbus?????? Finally for a hold of the pickerington manager Rouna, I was told to have the tow truck company to bill enterprise..... people no Tow truck company just bills you.. they want money before dropping your car off..... long story short enterprise finally was able to get that taken care of.... tow truck driver takes the car and us to the nearest enterprise dealer.... great guys, Rouna stated she had spoken with them.... NOPE..... next step, get an Uber to another Enterprise to get a replacement vehicle...... finally 3 hours later, cold, wet and FURIOUS we get a vehicle to head home.... missed the work trip but whatever.... get back to Pickerington and the attendant had the NERVE to ask me if I want to pay for the gas because it was only at 3/4 tank of gas......... Horrible location. 3 cars later, 5 hours behind, in a dirty car 2 hours into my trip and engine lights come on! I called the store manager and he wanted to argue that he personally took care of that car. I told him no way was it cleaned and maintained. He told me it would be fine and to continue on my 14 plus hour trip. Then drive around 10 days, then drive back 16 hours.Absolutely no!It's been a month, 8 call/messages and I still am fighting to get a general manager or district manger to contact me. This enterprise had failed my family twice now and deserves a review. They are terrible!!! Do not recommend and i will not give they a 3rd chance. We tried to use them twice with our insurance due to our cars going into a body shop. First time we had issues with the reservation that should have been a car and they gave my 21 year old daughter a huge Silverado truck - not what we reserved and she didnt feel comfortable driving something so large. Then today i had a reservation that their company booked via phone told them the body shop my jeep was going to over a week ago, i call them like i was instructed to, inform them i was on my way to the body shop, they said we don't go to that body shop. They told me i needed to use the enterprise in Gahanna hmmm why did someone book it correctly a week ago go when i called. Why don't they look at there schedule a head of time. Poor customer service. I called Gahanna enterprise and they get 5 starts. They were able to accommodate the last minute change. read more

It's taken a while to find a place that will take care of a customer the right way. I'm glad we have this local spot to trust for rentals. Dominic and Matt are the best employees they have had at this location. We hope they stick around. read more
