Today was worst car rental experience I have ever had. I called yesterday to reserve a car and request a pickup. I confirmed it and gave a cc. I was supposed to get picked up at 930. I was at the mechanic by 925 and waited until 945 to call and inquire if they were on the way to be told "I didn't know you needed a ride" It was clearly on the confirmation. He demanded the address and I told him you have it there, I don't know I am waiting outside. I got upset and used a bad word, so it was ok to for him to hang up and cancel my reservation. Luckily my mechanic is a wonderful human and expedited my repairs. I was stranded anyway so I ended up waiting there a couple hours thus saving money and getting my car back quicker. Can't say enough about how great this Enterprise location is. First off, they ANSWER their phones! I had been working with another Enterprise location who every time I called would ring to the point that it went to a call center that had no connection with the local branch. So the fact that this Enterprise branch was actually answering their calls is huge to me. I was dropping my car off that I rented from a different branch and they made the process extremely smooth. They even offered me a ride to my next location to pick up my personal vehicle. Joe and his crew were SUPERB and provided excellent customer service. I've rented from a lot of car rental places and this spot is one of the best. Joe May is the branch manager here - he and his team went above and beyond my expectations. I called them to see if I could get a full size pickup truck and he said he could have one for me the next day. When I went there, he had three different full-size pick up trucks for me to choose from, and he even walked out and showed me all of them and let me pick which one I wanted. That was the first time I've ever had a car rental. Please do that for me. I will definitely be renting a vehicle from them again, and their prices were also extremely reasonable. I believe the manager's name is Chris (sorry If I got it wrong). He was of the most professionalism and efficiency when handling my rental. I had an issue with our car. Our dealership arranged a temporary car for me at their location. Someone came to pick me up at the end of my work day and took me to their location where my rental was ready for me. The exterior was immaculate. The interior, however, had a strong cigarette smell. Because I was already running late for an appointment I left like that. I received a text message as a follow up from my experience. I reply and within the next day, I got a call from Chris. He addressed my concerns without any issues. This review is for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Pinellas Park. My experience was seamless from check-in to check-out. Everyone was friendly and efficient (Joe, Zack and the gentleman that inspected the car upon return - sorry, I do not know his name). My deposit was refunded immediately and the car I had rented was great. There seemed to be ample parking and I left my car (be advised Enterprise is not liable if you do this, however). The rental was fine. The problem came after. I left my Sunpass in the car. It took four phone calls over several weeks to finally confirm that they did have it. The person I talked with verified the number. I asked if they could mail it to me. They said I would need to pick it up. I live in another state. I asked if I could pay for them to drop it in an envelope and send it back to me. They couldn't be bothered with that. Repeatedly through the process they promised to call me back - they never did. I always had to call them back. Do what you say you will do. Very poor follow up, and no regard for customer need. read more

My mom just wanted a nice car to rent to go visit my brother for the day in Fort Meyers. Something good on gas mileage and newer than what she drives now so she selected the premium luxury option and reserved it at this location. Upon arriving the car she rented was not there and they tried to give her a large SUV (she already usually drives a truck) that hadn't been cleaned yet. When she asked where the car she reserved is the guy said they didn't have it at all. So then they tried to give her a crossover that was clean but smelled like someone smoked recently inside. All in all they employees just tried to give her the run around either because she's a woman or just because they have a terrible idea of good customer service. As a final note, at the time of this writing the website still shows that the vehicle is available to rent even though clearly it's not. Really disappointed in Enterprise, don't rent from this location if you have to use them. read more

So I reserved a car at this location. Read all the things I needed to have as I was coming from another state only to get here for them to tell me they failed to provide all the information I needed to pick up the rental. On top of terrible customer we ended having to leave an go to another rental company with better service. I will never pick this place again and I will probably go with another company in general in the future read more

This location is fantastic! Every single person I spoke with there was professional, and they actually cared about their jobs and what they were doing. The man who handled everything for me was awesome, and I definitely felt taken care of by all of them. I received a call the first evening of getting the rental just to check in with me, see if I needed anything, and how it was going with the car. I know they had a deal with the auto shop my car was in, so the cost was very low, but even with them not making much money off of it, I was still given excellent service. If I need another rental car in the future, I will definitely be returning here! read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a compact car online (with pickup service) after being in an accident. The rep from Pinellas Park RAC never showed up to pick me up. So I ubered to get the car myself. After completing the "paperwork" on the iPad outside in the rain, this full size new Cadillac pulls around near me and Im given the keys. It was explained to me that it was on promo for same price as compact car (Which is what I ordered). I asked again to clarify and was confirmed by 2 ERAC associates it was same price. I ended up keeping the car a few days longer and was charged premium prices, even tho I called and explained I did not have my car yet and needed to extend. Total I had the car for 9 days and was charged 429.43. I put 169 miles on the car. That is $2.54 per mile. Uber or Lyft doesn't charge this much for their Premier rides. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE MONEY HUNGRY CROOKS. read more

I have never had a problem before with renting from enterprise before, and they were gracious but I had a reservation and they did not hold a vehicle at all and I had to wait. They did comp part of the rental but in the future be aware a reservation does not guarantee a vehicle for pick up. Recommend anyone renting with a reservation call in advance, unless you like waiting. read more

This location is terrible! I was hit by another car so her insurance company paid for this rental car for 10 days. When I went to pick it up I dealt with the branch manager, Kevin Donohue. Terrible attitude. They charge ME a $50 "refundable" deposit to rent the car. Kevin refused to do anything to help me by waiving this deposit. He then put me in a "pickle car". The Nissan Sentra he put me in, the previous driver had smoked in it and Enterprise tried to cover it up with vinegar. When he opened the car door I told him it smelled like pickles. He said he didn't smell it and still made me take the car. While I had the car, there was a continuous warning of: "the battery in the key was low". So every day I worried if I would be able to start the car. I turned the car in on 7/31/17 and am STILL WAITING FOR THE REFUND OF MY $50 DEPOSIT. On 8/4/17 I called and Ali said that they were waiting on approval from the at fault driver's insurance company for the additional 5 days I had the rental while the body shop fixed my car. They were about to charge ME for the additional 5 days--without even telling me! Kevin did not explain any of this to me. There was some confusion at the dealership and I had to wait longer than expected to be picked up by enterprise so I was not happy from the get go. However, everyone I dealt with after that made up for it. The driver Tj (or Aj) was extremely friendly and understanding of my bad mood. Marcus was an awesome associate and hooked me up with the best car on the lot. They apologized for the inconvenience at the dealership and even told me I could drop the car off at the dealership when I go to return it so I can avoid any other confusion.
