Poor customer service. After experiencing my own car being badly damaged by another person, I needed a temporary car. My collision center recommended this location. First issue: They gave me a little Toyota Corolla as this is all they had as an option. The car was given to me with less than a 1/4 of tank. I asked why the car did not have more gas in it. I was told they don't have a way to fill gas on site and they do not fill their own cars up.. not great customer service when you have to go find a gas station to pull up first thing. The car was nothing equal to what I drive. The windows did not defrost properly nor did the mirrors making it hard to back out and see other vehicles in the morning. I returned my car to the collision center as they directed, and they would work with enterprise to return the vehicle. I received a call from enterprise, and the girl was less than friendly. I returned it before the 1:30 PM cut off. I actually turned it in at 10:30 AM but she tried to tell me I still needed to pay for the full day. I disputed that she herself said 130 was the turn in time.. regardless I turned it in early in the morning. Customer service attitude was very poor and argumentative instead of understanding. I would not rent from this place ever again. Due to all the construction, it's a difficult place to pull into and get out of as well. read more

This is the 2nd time I have used this specific location. I have referred MULTIPLE people between my last visit and this visit. I am beyond disappointment with the professionalism this past Friday. I planned on driving my son and his girlfriend in a luxury BMW. I booked on Monday and confirmed on Thursday for a Friday pick up at noon. Upon arrival I was told they did not have the BMW or any other luxury car. He mentioned something about Tampa airport (we are in Palm Harbor), I said I will drive to go get it then he redacted his statement. I said why would you not call me first thing in the morning so I could search elsewhere? He said he was too busy. I said seriously? This is a once in a lifetime Junior Prom, how could you do this. He would not even offer to search other Enterprises I said I'll go to Tampa/Sarasota. I must admit my son got out of line and we were asked to leave. I asked for the manager and he said I am the manager. I understand things happen but the way it was handled was some of the worst professionalism I have ever seen!! read more

Worst experience of lifetime as I truly feared for my life. The lady who would refuse to provide me with her name was threatening me and my mother to have us ejected ias I was waiting for a ride from Lokey Nissan where my car was being repaired after being a victim of a hit and run car accident. She had received full payment as my insurance had paid only for one month car rental and I had paid for the next two months, she stated that I was barred for life from renting from Enterprise which I called and found out that it was a lie. Then she continued yelling at me in front of others that I should never return as they will not rent any car to me. She was so hostile and aggressive that I asked her to call the police. I knew that police would see her irrational and absurd behavior. However my ride arrived and I left. Imagine in mid noon hot temperature she is asking me to go and stand outside in the sun for my ride only because I quietly was placing a call to speak to enterprise corporate office about my experience. She apparently charged me $1004 from May 27 to June 19 but at the same breath instead of asking how was the service and car yelling at me that she wants me ejected from their building. Then I should not have to pay if she is ejecting me. I had complained several times that the car is giving error yellow signals as one was for coolant and the other for engine oil but they did nothing to assist. Terrifying experience as I truly thought she was going to physically harm us and that is the reason why I told her to call the police. If I had to be there longer than that I would have myself called the police. read more

This is my favorite Enterprise. Jordan is amazing. She always gets me in a car and never makes me feel like I'm a bother to her. She is very friendly and has excellent customer service. A lot of rental places are run down and staff acts like they do not want to be there. Not Palm Harbor Enterprise they have friendly service with a smile with clean cars. Edit- I just went back in for a rental and spoke with Clayton who just started a few days ago and Eric coached him. They were both also great! This location makes a good team. read more

Very disappointed, we had a car reserved because ours was going in for some repair. Arrived at Enterprise and after checking in, found out that they didn't have any cars available. Seems they had a lot of people come in earlier and the cars were all rented out. Don't know if they all had reservations or not, but it seems to me that if you have reservations for 20 cars, you should have at least 20 available. Good customer service doesn't mean an apology after the fact, it means making sure ahead of time that your customers will be taken care of. Left a bad impression of Enterprise and probably will not go back. Update: we ended up going back today a did get a rental. I understand things happen, but I still believe a reservation means something. The people there were very nice and as helpful as they could be and that's very much appreciated. read more

Update to review: The staff at this location have made a huge effort to remedy this problem & we appreciate it greatly. We reserved a car weeks ago. We show up a little after reservation time and car is 45 minutes away and we are shown a car smaller than what we reserved. Staff person was really nice but that doesn't make up for the fact that someone didn't do their job. Nearly one hour later & we still don't have a car. Poor business practices. Dropping from 2 stars to 1. Enterprise saw my review and asked for information on my reservation so that they could make things right. I promptly responded with my emailed confirmation and asked if they could help me. I even provided my phone number. All I got was crickets. They really were not interested in helping me get the car I reserved. Also, I called after I left the location and the Customer Service Supervisor said she would forward all the information to the Regional Manager and VP of Customer Service. Guess what happened? Crickets. I won't say this is a bad place or avoid it. Just make sure you get what you pay for and don't expect customer service if you need help. read more

The staff and service are stellar at this Enterprise location. We were greeted with a friendly smile and staff expressed concern for our comfort. Would we like something to drink? We're we comfortable? They apologized for our 10 minute wait. We were called the next day to see if the car was a good fit for us and if all was OK. We very easily extended our rental for a few more days. The best was getting reimbursed for the Lyft drive back after dropping off the car. I don't like having to rent a car, but with my car in the shop and the repairs expected to take all day, I opted to rent one vs having the dealership take me home for the day and then pick me up. They took me down to Enterprise where I was put into a Chrysler, a car that was big with blind spot, and a flex fuel vehicle -something not explained. When I was given the car, I was explained the rate, and I, at first, waived the additional insurances, because the rate went from $20 - $78 for the day, but when I refused the agent went all high pressure on me. Frankly I didn't want to have to put up with the bs, so I said FINE. When I got back to the dealership, they told me that the car would have to be kept over night so the rental would be on them. I explained that I'd taken the full coverage, and they said that'd be fine. When I brought the car back to the dealership - NOT the Enterprise location, as the dealership said to do, I reiterated that I'd paid full amount, and they said that'd be OK. That evening, I received a call from the rental agent, asking me what time I turned in the car, and if I'd done it at the dealership. I knew the dealership called, I was there when she did it. He then asked me what card I wanted the $78 charged to. I explained, Rather patiently, that the car dealership was taking care of it. "Oh, they'll cover the base rental, but you took out.." I stopped him. "They assured me they'd cover it all." The agent got quiet and spoke again saying "I'll call them tomorrow (Thursday) and speak with them, I'll get in touch with you. Likely you'll have to pay the difference." I didn't hear back from him. This is my 2nd dealing with Enterprise I've had, 2 different offices and both have had shoddy customer service. By renting online, months in advance, we got an incredible deal at this location. We rented a clean small SUV for our cross country drive. This location had a variety of vehicles to choose from, and we got a Nissan Rogue AWD. It was comfortable, spacious, and had average gas mileage. The staff was friendly and professional. The restroom was clean, large, & well maintained. The location is easy to get into and out of. We have rented from this location before, and will do so again. read more

I was picked up promptly, greeted immediately, and given an awesome new car! This suv was much better than I expected, and this car kept me very safe in a sudden ice storm on a long trip. All the staff was very helpful, checked how my rental was, and promptly gave me a ride home. This was THE best rental experience I've had in my 30 years of renting cars. The staff was extremely rude tried to put me in a box car that is no where near the size of my car that is being worked on which I was supposed to get. A sedan. As I'm getting in the car they come out swing the car door open as if they think they where law enforcement and tell me to shut the car off and hand the keys back, as I hand them the keys they snatched the keys out of my hand like a asshole would. And said the contract is being voided. TERRIBLE place to come to ESPECIALLY this location they are VERY RUDE and snotty people. DO NOT COME HERE. This place can absolutely fuck off and the staff that was in their have some serious issues going on. After I had told them that my insurance covers me driving. For work I rented at a few enterprise and national agencies in the area. This by far is the best one. They had my car ready (unlike others) They also had quite a staff for the large amount of people they rent to. The staff is also professional and friendly. My only complaint is the tank is not full when you get there. You have to return it the way you got it so if the tank was half full return it half full which never work out right. But return it with the same or more and then tell them you want credit for the extra and they will take care of you. Another smaller complaint is my loyalty number did not work on their website so I had to fill out paperwork like it was my first rental but that is not this locations problem it is a corporate thing so no negative feelings towards them read more

My car was being repaired at Quality Tire nearby and I needed a car overnight. I called several car rentals and Enterprise had the best rates. I was promptly picked up by their van and in minutes was at their location across from Sonny's at US 19 & Curlew Road New Assistant Manager Alex Lamping quickly welcomed me and professionally processed my paperwork quickly sso I could get back to Qualtiy Tire to pick up my house keys which I had left in my car. He even provided his cell number should I have any question. Later he called me to ensure I had received my keys! Great Follow up! I was impressed with others as well in his office. They were all very professional and appeared customer focused like Alex. I will call Enterprise in the future and recommend them highly. We appreciated the free pick up from our RV resort but were unhappy due to the lack of concern for our needs.We needed a full size car for a week. They gave us a compact saying they'd call when a full was available. We called, visited two locations and nothing. This Enterprise is not very accommodating to the disabled it seems. We specified the need to have room to store a folding mobility scooter. After three days of empty promises we gave up. We drove with a scooter in the rear seat next to our son. Only got a one star review because 0 doesn't exist I personally didn't rent the car my girlfriend was there to pick up a car (her car is in the shop getting a new motor a 3 month deal) lokey Kia uses them for their rental/alt transportation anyhow we literally sit in the rental car for a total of 10 sec after me and my gf just looking at it and one of the employees came out opened the door to the car and extremely rudely DEMANDED the key back and for my gf who just also had surgery to GET OUT OF THE CAR saying the rental was voided after they where told that her insurance covers her driving the vehicle this is absolutely ridiculous we ended up leaving because of how rude they were to us and I highly recommend you DO NOT use them unless you like being treated like absolute garbage and this review doesn't even get into them trying to put her into the wrong car too worst experience I've ever seen or had after I was also barked at and instructed to leave after I didn't even say a word to these people read more

I give it a 3 star due to I was going to rent another car from here to take back to Georgia but the drop off rate was $182! $182 to drop a car off in another state, NO THANKS! Rented a vehicle while here on vacation this week. I mostly worked with James, who was fantastic! Top notch customer service and the whole crew was extraordinary! At first, they upgraded up to this awesome dodge charger that my father and I were super excited about. In hindsight, we didn't really think about the rest of our family and the lack of room on our longer car rides! So, I called back that day and asked if we could switch into a larger vehicle. They made it super easy and showed us all of our options two hours later when we returned! Nothing but professionalism and a friendly atmosphere. We even talked today about extending the rental one more day and returning it to the airport. They made it happen with a breeze and discussed the new charges all within a minute or two. Best Enterprise experience I've had so far. Job well done! read more

was very happy with the car assigned to me while my car was at roberts getting fixed..they over charged me and took out extra funds from my account that i never agreed too and tried to say i signed agreement for it when they took my deposit ...while the amout was not alot , it still was taken out of my bank account without consent from me .. bottom line watch out for extra fees and charges that are applied to your cards.... i will take my buisness to another company moving foward read more

I made a reservation last night, I'm from out of state, obviously, why I was renting a car. The woman "helping" me Cecily, informed me I couldn't rent a car since I don't have a major credit card. I've been to other enterprises before and have never had this problem. I understand now every state is different. They wouldn't let me call my dad who was at work to use his credit card over the phone. So I was stranded, no car, clearly upset (crying) and nobody even said sorry. She said "No, they have to be here physically," and smiled. So unhelpful, I will never ever use enterprise again. They honestly should be embarrassed the way they treated me. Yes I understand policies, but they were so unhelpful and so unapologetic. read more

I was having a horrible experience with another rental place just up the street from this location, so I was in a pinch and needed a car fast. After a quick online search, I found this Enterprise. Without a reservation, I was able to call, get a car, and be on my way in 30 minutes. The service here was phenomenal: everyone was extremely friendly and helpful instead of rushed and stressed out, the place was clean and everyone was well-dressed in their uniforms, and there were cars available immediately. Plus, they gave me a discount on my rental, unprompted, just to be nice. It was literally the best experience I have ever had renting a car, to the point where I was almost actually having fun, which sounds insane but it's true. If I need a car again the next time I'm in town, I will definitely be back. I believe the rep who helped was named Cory, so I want to give a special thanks to him, he was terrific. All three agents working while I was there were super friendly and helpful as well. read more

Absolutely horrible! Our Honda CRV had an airbag recall, and Palm Harbor Honda was required to provide us with a rental. So they send us here. The place is chaotic, customers standing outside with suitcases, some sitting inside, some standing-- it was crazy. Anyhow, we don't wait too long and a man helps us. He says that it could be months we are in a rental car, so have some patience, and he will get us something very nice and comfortable. Ok. We sit down and wait a few minutes, then someone comes over to say he will drive us to Tarpon Springs because our "comfortable" and "very nice" car is there. He speeds the whole way, at one point going 52 in a 35 past a school (SPC). We have to wait over 15 minutes at the Tarpon Enterprise, and then voila-- they try to give us a Nissan Versa! No disrespect to the Versa drivers out there, but it's not an SUV and it's the smallest car then rent! After objection, the man calls his boss back in Palm Harbor to see if we can take the Chevy Tahoe that he drove us there in. No, it's due for an oil change. Believe that, and I have a bridge to sell you. Anyhow, they tell us after more complaints that there is an SUV available for us, guess where... in PALM HARBOR! So back we go and finally get into what we were promised when we first walked in, over an hour ago. If I had a plane to catch, I'd have missed the flight because what should have taken 5 minutes took over an hour. read more

Flew down from New York for a week long visit with my son and his family. Searched all the main rental car companies for a vehicle for the week and was shocked that the rental car was going to cost nearly as much as what I paid for the airfare to get there! Discovered that around $200 of the total cost was from airport fees and that by renting a vehicle from a location other than the airport saved significant money. I had to get myself from the airport to the off site location, but it was worth the hassle to save nearly $200! And, Enterprise also waived the airport free so that I could return the car directly to the airport upon my return flight home. The only "down side" of the entire process was having to listen to the insurance sales pitch at the pick-up location and the long process of actually checking in and getting the car. Also, I'm not sure if the airport location return was the problem or not, but I was not able to conclude my return where I dropped the car off or not, but I had to drag my luggage to the Enterprise office and check out there, which made my check out longer than necessary and therefore my flight check-in was more rushed than necessary. But, the vehicle was good and the employees were nice and I saved around $200 in the process. read more

I came in to pick up a rental car at this location around 11am. The gentleman named Dave told me that it was a 20 minute wait. I told him I would be back at 12 and I said please don't give my car away to someone else. He assured me that there wouldn't be a problem. I came back at 12 and surprise surprise he gave the car away to someone else. He said that HE didn't give it away and he didn't know why someone did. He also informed me that unless I wanted a mini van, he had no idea when another smaller vehicle would be available. I walked outside to speak with my sister who drove me there, and I'm assuming another employee who was outside heard me and my frustrations. I walked back inside and I overheard the entire staff talking about me, and laughing. It was embarrassing and very unkind. Dave obviously wasn't going to admit to or apologize for this as he wants to keep his job. I ended up with the gas guzzling mini van which has now been taken away from some family who needs the space. I have no kids and the parking is tight at my work which is why a smaller vehicle was important for me. It's just unfortunate that the staff feels comfortable talking about customers who they think are no longer in the building. This would have been a higher star rating but the unkind words at my expense make 1 Star the obvious choice. read more
