We called Enterprise, and they advised us to exchange the vehicle at the PIE airport location. Unfortunately, our experience there was very disappointing. We were offered a sedan as a replacement--even though we had two car seats, luggage, and six people traveling. That simply wasn't a workable option. We were then sent back to Roadside Assistance, which was an incredibly frustrating and time-consuming experience. Eventually, we made our way to the Tampa Airport location, and I truly cannot say enough good things about the team there. By the time we arrived, we were exhausted and frustrated, but they completely turned our experience around. While they didn't have an identical replacement available, they took the time to show us three different options, patiently answered all of our questions, and made sure we left with a vehicle that worked for our family. The manager and staff were professional, kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. They took what had been a stressful situation and handled it with exceptional customer service. I wanted to share my positive experience because I know this location has received some mixed…read morereviews. The day before my scheduled pickup, I was contacted and informed that the large SUV I had reserved wouldn't be available and that they could only offer a 5-passenger vehicle instead. Unfortunately, that wouldn't work for our needs, so I asked them to cancel the reservation. Later that same day, I received another call letting me know that things had changed and the vehicle I originally requested was now available. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone wanted to see if I'd like to reinstate my reservation, and of course I said yes. When I arrived early the next morning, I was greeted by a friendly staff. One gentleman showed me to my vehicle, and while I was outside, the same gentleman I had spoken with on the phone (whose name I unfortunately don't remember) came outside just to thank me for my patience and understanding throughout the situation. He absolutely didn't have to take that extra step, but he did, and it really meant a lot. When I returned the vehicle on Monday, I was greeted by that same young man, and he even remembered my name. That level of personal customer service is rare these days. I was honestly a little nervous after reading some of the negative reviews, but my experience was the complete opposite. The team went above and beyond to make a difficult situation right, and I truly appreciated their professionalism, communication, and kindness. Thank you for the excellent customer service!

Dear Enterprise, according to your employee, Justin, your system is old and out of date. He doesn't understand why it allows people to book cars even if there isn't one available to rent. Today, after reserving a vehicle, I spent $27.44 on an Uber ride to get to your location on 1001 W Kennedy blvd. Justin informed me that they don't have any cars here for rent and offered me to stay there until one is returned - "could be a day or two" he said. I'm currently waiting for another uber ride (estimated $36.89) to Tampa International Airport to rent another car (not from you or your affiliate). My plans have been ruined and I'm $60+ out of pocket. Not that it matters to you, but today, you lost a loyal business customer who rented cars from you (Enterprise only) for the past 9 years. Please hire and train more Justins so you can ruin more people days

They offered to put us on a waitlist for one to be returned and cleaned, but we were hoping to get on the road right away. When I asked about other available options, they quickly offered a Volkswagen Jetta--a smaller sedan--which ended up being a perfect fit. The staff handled the adjustment on the spot, completed the paperwork efficiently, and had us on our way in about 15 minutes. The car was clean, comfortable, and turned out to be a great choice for fuel efficiency and travel during our week in Florida.
