Had a pleasant experience at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The process to get a car was quick and each attendant had a portable device to assist each customer. The personnel were friendly and I was out in 20 mins which is much quicker than I had anticipated. The reason I knocked a star is due to my car being a bit outdated. So unbelievably slow. Zero sense of urgency to move things along especially while understaffed. thank goodness I anticipated this and left myself lots of extra time. also, what the heck is the point of online check in if A) you don't have an express setup so I can bypass the regular line, and B) you don't ask me all the questions online so I still have to wait and answer all the extra questions and revalidate all the things I validated online. read more

Horrid, non-existent service!! After receiving a defective rental car last week with several serious, problematic issues, including reeking of cigarettes from past drivers who smoked in the vehicle (despite Enterprise's promise to never rent out or tolerate smoked-in vehicles), safety feature flaws, defective windshield wipers that don't allow visibility in sleet or snow, a heating system deficiency, a broken radio and more, we were ignored and left to rot despite calling to report the problem over and over again!! We were denied a call back or any help from the regional manager, after being told that there was no longer a local branch manager....and that it was basically our tough luck! This is totally unacceptable, amounts to zero customer service, defrauds customers who've rented out cars from the Pocono Summit Enterprise location, and leaves customers stuck with bad cars in a very dangerous situation. Simply put, there's no reliability or respect for customers at all, and that just plain stinks! read more

I've had to rent cars more this year than usual. I found the staff at the Mt Pocono, PA Enterprise to be very friendly and courteous and helpful. I have been in the reception/waiting room with a very busy area and regardless, the staff still managed to make each of us with the same respect and attention to care, even when requesting a bit of patience when having to wait. I have always been pleased with each clean, comfortable vehicle. read more

The ENTIRE Enterprise business model is built on the slogan "we'll pick you up"...except now this location is at least doing curbside only "because of covid." It gets a little old people using covid as an excuse for almost anything these days, and this particular location not keeping true to their word really hurt on the day I had to get my puppy to the vet for surgery after the previous one had been postponed. Look, I am not a covid denier. I fully acknowledge the quarter-million people it's killed in this country and I support masking and social distancing to help slow the spread. But give me a fkn break here. They told me to take an Uber (easier said than done up here), but also what's the logic here? If it's safe enough for an uber driver is it not safe enough for your driver? Or how about a contingency plan on your part, maybe dropping off a car since everything is curbside and electronic these days anyway?? Get your shit together, Enterprise. Thankfully Hertz on 611 in Stroudsburg is still doing pickups (with covid safety measures in effect, obviously). Incidentally their rate happened to be about ~20% cheaper. I would give this location/ "Branch" a negative 10 if I could. I would also go as far as to rate the total level of Customer Service from Enterprise as a negative 5, the only thing I may give Enterprise credit for is friendliness and futile responsiveness, as the Call Center Representatives were more professional than those at the location, but no customer service resolution is ever achieved, especially when it is Enterprise that has been unprofessional, inconsistent, and is poor at follow through and follow up. This is sad, because I have been with Enterprise and a Loyalty Member for several years which neither one of those things mean a thing to anyone that I spoke to, or to the persons they were forwarding my complaints and concerns to, which was supposed to be Regional Leadership. I also attempted to contact Corporate and Member Services, which not surprisingly both have numbers experiencing circuit problems. Long Story Short, because I have told this story countless times to countless employees of Enterprise to no avail, and I and it is exhausting. I was renting a vehicle, was told several different things from different employees that never went anywhere beyond that point except being refused the vehicle at the Branch after multiple conversations with Customer Care that they at the "Branch" observed and refused to engage in, in an effort to obtain a resolution, or providing the least bit of Customer Service. I do not recommend this location or Enterprise as a whole or any rental car companies they own. I was not able to rent that day, though the need was still there, and I will be canceling the upcoming/ future Reservation I made with them, and will be canceling Enterprise as a whole. In addition, I will be sharing this experience with anyone I encounter seeking or considering renting a vehicle. Seriously this is the WORST rental car center I have ever been to. They have 20-year olds working, cursing and "yo dude-ing" eachother & their customers. The red head cares more about taking care of her long flowy hair that is every where (very unhygienic) and the high heeled studded boots belong in a strip club, not a car rental center. And it's a franchise - so clean the windows, vacuum & turn off the night club music! Unfortunately they are the only rental car place on the mountain. I'd go anywhere else if I could! read more

The red headed girl at the front desk was extremely rude and unwilling to help or discuss the most basic issues/concerns that I had. She spoke to us in a condescending and short tone. Very disappointed in the customer service at this establishment. It's sad to see this kind of behavior, especially when it is not provoked in any way. read more

Enterprise was great. I needed a car to use while mine was getting repaired and it was super easy and fast to get one. The when I needed to switch to a larger one for a few days, that was also easy. Everyone was really nice and helpful. It is small town hospitality at its best. read more

I Needed to get to Florida to see my mom, as she was very sick and in intensive care. So I rented a car from enterprise on 1/3/22. The car wasn't clean, but due to the weather I didn't complain. They didn't have the SUV I reserved so I ended up with a different car. The worst part of the rental was the price. Price gouging. I had to pay over $100 per day for the rental. When I arrived in Florida I checked the prices there. Less than half the price I paid. I was desperate to get there so what choice did I have? read more

Jen refused to rent me a vehicle that I had a reservation for due to the fact of my chip not working on my credit card. I provided another credit card, drivers license and military ID to prove identity. Jen still refused to swipe my card. She was also extremely snotty. Would definitely not recommend this location. I've used enterprise many times and never had such issues. Spoke to corporate office and they notified me it was at the branches discretion whether or not they swiped cards. In my opinion, she didn't want to rent out the last car on the lot due to it most likely being the car she used to take home. read more

So where do I start! This place disgusts me due to an accident I had early this morning I needed a rental and my insurance company was paying for the costs. Now I received news that the store didn't have anything that my insurance covered except for a bmw that was being held for someone ; but before the women at the desk said they don't hold any vehicles for anyone, and that bmw was the only one that was covered from my insurance! Now I spoke to a manger and told this manger about this and he decided to give me a vehicle that was getting cleaned out. Then when getting ready to pay I hand over the card that was going to be used the women refused to use that card because it was under someone else's name, once I get back with a card under my name with the money the manager tells me he's not going to serve me anything and tells me to leave and refused to call another enterprise to reserve something for me told me "I'm not doing anything for u your on ur own" the disrespect I was about to just say screw it and go to jail! This review is really for Pat at the Pocono Summit, PA Enterprise Rental Car location. He was a breath of fresh air at a time when the words, "excellent customer service", have proven absent in so many businesses in this day and age. We had run into an issue and it appeared we may not be able to rent a car after all. As we expressed our frustrations to the local rep., it was clear her "hands were tied" and we realized our ten year plus history of renting at this location really didn't seem to matter that day. You were just a number in a system that couldn't find you even though you had walked in and out of the door time and time again. We requested we speak with a manager and the rep. said, "Absolutely." Out comes Pat, who immediately asked us to explain what had happened. We did and said we were floored that we've been coming here for our car rental needs over all these years and when it came down to it, it had no weight. He listened and then immediately apologized for the inconvenience and assured us we would be taken care of and that is just what he did. He was professional, patient, understanding and clearly in the right position. Maybe the Enterprise "higher ups" should learn something from Pat because they were more about what the "system" said than what the long time "customer" said. Thank you, Pat, for taking the time it took to listen. It was much appreciated. And, a big "Thank You", goes out to Cristina (hope I spelled her name right). This was probably the easiest rental I have ever done. I arrived earlier than the time I reserved, but D didn't have any problem with that. She stopped what she was doing and acknowledged me right away. She found my reservation in no time. After reading the requirements on the counter for using debit cards, I feared I would be faced with a road block. D informed me very professionally that I didn't need to provide anything else because I completed the online checkin. She upgraded me, had me sign in couple of papers and off I went in less than 30 minutes. D made this experience very pleasant one and restored hope that there are young people in the customer service industry than can be professional, articulate and helpful. First time renting at this location. Friendly, helpful staff. Car was great, although instead of giving me a full tank, they gave me a quarter tank and told me to return it with that much. A little hard to know how much to put in since I didn't know exactly how much I would use. Not a big deal, though. I would definitely rent here again. read more
