Don't ever sign up for this. They are liars. We were told we can cancel everything if we don't want the service anymore or can't go any further monetary by a supervisor. We took his word for it and signed. They refuse to cancel anything. They are so money hungry. What bothers me is the continuing service charge that you get charged quarterly after you pay off the financial part. You can tell them in every form or shape that you can't continue and they will not cancel it at all. Go on vacation on your own without them, believe me it is cheaper and better. I prefer they get no stars but Yelp doesn't allow it. read more

Do not recommend. the price seems right, but they put you up in the most rundown places, rooms, etc. they won't show you a picture of your room before you get there, which tells you something. we've used 11 of our weeks and have stayed in Myrtle Beach 3 times, Ocean City, MD once, wildwood Nj twice, Marco island once, and Ft. Lauderdale 4 times. every place was the same story...old, dirty, smelly and not well kept. beware, the sales pitch sounds great, but you'll be sadly disappointed. we paid for 30 wks upfront, but at this point it's not worth the aggravation and disappointment. we'll just consider it a loss. read more

Large sums of money to buy weeks of vacations and still have to pay to use their vacation spots. This does depend on the time of year, how many bedrooms, and if on excess weeks. The real kicker is the monthly service fees. They went up over $9 and it's if you use any of your weeks or not. Was very skeptical coming into Sundance considering I received a phone call saying I was getting a free vacation for coming in. I sat through the presentation, but it was actually a fun experience and what they had to offer made sense. My husband and I then spoke with someone one on one about the packages they offer and the free trip and decided to go through with buying a travel package through them. We have a trip booked to Hawaii with them. We'll keep you posted with updates with how it goes. But we're excited to be able to travel more and thank them for helping us get out there more. read more

My wife and I entered our names in a drawing at the Pittsburgh Zoo for a chance to win $1000. Instead, we received a phone call informing us that we "won" a free vacation. We scheduled a time to come to the Monroeville Mall location and listened to a presentation about what Sundance does. During the group presentation, 2 options were given to us; a Basic or a Charter package. When we were talking with a sales person individually, we stated that both were out of price range. At that point, we were given a third option - half a Charter Package at half the cost of the original Charter package. When that, too, was not do-able, the sales person gave us a fourth option - a "family and friends" option that was at a yet lower price. We expressed that even that was too expensive, we were sent to another sales person (I believe the manager). He gave us yet another (fifth) option. Up until that point, no one was aggressively pushing Sundance's products. That changed during our discussion with the manager. We feel he was pressuring us into signing something we were uncomfortable with. At one point when my wife addressed him, she was told "I wasn't talking to you"! That statement was very unprofessional. At that point we left. If all 5 options would have been presented to the group, with no pressure from anyone in Sundance's sales staff, we may have gone with one of your packages. But that didn't happen. And during all this, we were told that the offers expired as soon as we left the store; we should have been given at least 24 hours to go over all 5 options. We feel that Sundance Vacations is using "Used Car Sales" tactics to get people to sign up for something that they may not fully understand. read more

Great bunch of people. They really worked with us to get us in the right vacating package. The sales people took the time to understand our needs. We spent a week in their condo in Orlando at the seven dwarfs resort. It was minutes away from Disney and universal. We plan on going back in October. Also stayed in the Hilton Head resort which was beautiful. At the time they were paving the parking lot which was a bit of a pain with parking but it was nice to see they are taking care of the resorts. Overall our experience with Sundance has been a pleasant one. Great value of you use it and having access to the excess inventory has help with cheap unexpected vacations. read more

I have been a Sundance member for over 10 years and only been on three vacations because mostly there really isn't any quality vacation destinations worth talking when we want to go. They promised great vacations and if you cancel because of illness or corvid pandemic you don't get your money back it goes into a fund for your next vacation and last year when I had booked a vacation around the Mardi Gras and the government said not to travel I lost my money and they still asking for my monthly payment. We went to presentation, definitely hard sell after--where with each "no" we gave they came back with lower pricing package. During the questions we repeatedly asked if there were any additional costs after you decide 2 or more bedrooms, low or high demand time, and always the answer was "no" unless you get an "all inclusive" at some resorts and there's a charge and they give you a wrist band then for the week. We purchased a smaller package and later after logging in, went to sites and found they were like +$399-$599 for so many places, and a $50 - $75 cleaning fee for many places in addition. Some places you have to pay for utilities too. Pricing on Expedia/Travelocity when we compared with everything was comparable...but you're not tied in. We relooked at contract, and in miscellaneous area there is legalize type wording about individual places charging their additional fees. read more

Only if "resolved" means they kept my 7700$ and told me I would still have to pay the yearly maintenance fee if I wanted to use my purchased weeks. I just got back from an amazing trip with Sundance Vacations in Marathon Key at Skipjack resort. Skipjack was perfect for my family of four and the staff were unbelievably friendly and accommodating! They loved the rooms and the rustic hardwood floors. It's always nice to avoid rugs after a long beach day. So clean!! The best part is it's located right down the road from the best public beach in all the keys, Sombrero beach. Did you know the keys do not have tons of beaches? I didn't! So, if you are looking for white powder beaches, pavilions, excellent bathroom facilities, crystal water, and waving palm trees look no further! I could not believe how many fun and exciting kid friendly spots are located between Key Largo and Marathon. Start by downloading the app Gypsy Guide (Miami To Key West version) that will give you a fully narrated guide telling you the history of each area you drive through and all the places of interest so you won't miss a hidden treasure. The highlight for my parents was seeing the African Queen boat that offers short cruises, a movie they said I must see now. My son loved the free wild bird sanctuary that had a wide variety of rescued birds. The dolphin research center was my favorite because we could interact and swim with the dolphins (fun fact Flipper was filmed there and some of his grandkids are there now). Some other highlights were the hidden tarpon feeding location where you could hand feed small fish to gigantic tarpon & of course the beach. I was happy to be across from the a Sombrero country club golf course and right on the marina. The fishing, snorkeling, and diving here some of the best in the world! I recommend Captain JJ's charters located right next to Skipjack Resort if you are looking for a private carter. After catching a dozen yummy yellowtail, we brought them to Lazy Days South restaurant located 10 minutes from Skipjack Resort. They prepare your fish however you like with a large variety of sauces and marinates. Best meal of the trip hands down and perfect spot to end your day and watch the sunset while you enjoy the fruits of your labor! Absolutely loved this @sundancevacations property!!!! read more

My friend and I were invited to hear about who Sundance vacation is and what they do and if we went we would be gifted a vacation. I feel more people need to know about this company because so many who can't afford to take families on vacation would now be able to with this company. I unfortunately am going through infertility treatments and now is not the right time for me to purchase because I don't know how long and how expensive our journey will be. My friend did end up purchasing and loves it! The people were so nice and not high pressure at all! I've been to a timeshare presentation and now that's high pressure!! Went in for the presentation, I was a little late but they accommodated me. Presentation explains their unique "buy in bulk" vacations and the company's history. After the presentation you meet individual counselors to explain the details of the offer. They offer a special charter plan if you buy that day. I wasn't in a position to purchase anything that day so a manager took over and provided even lower prices and financing options. After saying no those, I went to get my free St. Thomas vacation certificate and was given a best and final offer, which I declined. The process took one hour and 20 minutes (might have been longer if I had bought a package). Not a bad investment of time in exchange for a free 3 nights, 4 day stay in the Caribbean with both airfare and hotel included. I didn't purchase a plan because my capital is going towards a new home and furnishings otherwise I would have learned more about how they pick their hotels (they say are best in class resorts) and airline companies. They spend very little time on what I think is an important part of the vacation: Nearmiss Scareways and the Bates Motel? I hope I get invited back after I finish my place. I will do the research and will probably buy a plan. read more

However to help you improve on your service I would to share a tip or two, to help your company receive business from a guy like me with a family. 1 continue to hire people like Kate located in your Bethesda/ Friendship Heights office, her presentation was great. 2 I understand and see the value in the packages the company is offering however, if you would like to earn business allow and respect families or loved ones to discuss and justify spending $20,000 on a vacation package instead of trying to cram every single package down our throats in one sitting and then tell the family that the offer only is good for that one day. 3 Have your sells reps ask better probing questions. Companies like Apple, AT&T, Tesla, Google and etc didn't get their fan base by selling from the top down, they got there by providing the complete solution for the customer and asking the right questions. 4 I would highly consider revamping your sales and marketing. Golf resorts, country clubs, cigar bars, are all filled with the type of clientele that you may be looking for. Send your marketing team to we wizards game, it may be best for them to hang out around court side where the type of clientele who can afford those tickets may also be interested in spending $20,000 on a vacation package. I entered to receive a cruise while at six flags. A few weeks later I received a phone call from a VERY enthusiastic woman telling me I had "won" a cruise. Short version: went in, sat thru an hour(ish) long presentation, learned about the destinations they work with and how their program works. I'm in sales myself so I appreciate someone pitching properly. Chris did a great job in the group presentation and was energetic and personable. Once they take you to the one on one sessions to close you its VERY reminiscent of a trading room floor where the junior associate warms up the lead and the senior associate reco's the deal. I did not end up purchasing but they were willing to work with me on price. My biggest issue is I'm Not their ideal client. The bulk of my travel over the next 5 years will be international ( which they do not handle directly) All in all its a good program, a bit dated on the condos you stay in but worth the money for those families looking for domestic travel to places like myrtle beach, ocean city, Florida, the Midwest and the occasional Mexico or Hawaii. Obtained a cruise for 2 voucher. They're very upfront that this isn't a free cruise. By law they cannot pay your security fees or port fees. I registered to select my dates today. I went to the presentation to get a free Kindle. They offered a free three day two night stay at Marriott Courtyard, you have to pay the taxes, and a choice of a Kindle or $50 gift certificate to the Kirby Center. I don't go on vacations. I left the portion of vacations you've been on and dream vacations blank on their survey. They offer the ability to buy 30 one week stays at various resorts or hotels through out the world for $15,000, with $399 a year service fee and you have to pay a service fee every time you decide to use a week. Transportation is separate. They say, they help book that for free. I'll be honest, that sounds like a horrible deal even if I went on vacations. There was no tough sell by anyone, course I told everyone I was there for the Kindle only. I probably won't use the free hotel stay either. Everyone was friendly and made me feel welcomed. We just stayed in the Poconos at the Woodfield Manor (Swiftwater, PA). It was great that this property was available because we were heading up there for a wedding and it's a 6 hr drive from our house. Rather than just stay the night we found this place through Sundance Vacations and made a week-long vacation out of it. The property was clean and spacious with 2 large flatscreen TVs which were great on rainy afternoons. I wish the pool had been heated as advertised, but overall it was a good experience. read more

We have been a member of Travel Advantage network for many years. Even though our children are fully-grown adults now, they still look forward to our week together in the summer, always by a beach. It has become a family tradition. At times, the units we get aren't always perfect or cleaned perfectly, like our last trip to Ocean City, MD. But we always have a good time. In addition, we have found it harder and harder to get the type of unit we want, even though we are VIP members. Since I am still employed, it's not always easy to know my vacation days 8 months in advance. I have to constantly check the website and compete with other members for a desirable unit, and it can be very difficult. read more

Prices are very reasonable and we've been able to go to some great locales. While the units we've been in are not fancy, their promise is clean, comfortable, and convenient, and they have lived up to that promise with only one exception over many years of ownership. That one issue (insects in a tropical location) was reconciled quickly and to our satisfaction. The folks who help schedule your vacations are great, and the people who maintain the units in which we've stayed have been nice, too. Most recently, we stayed in Branson, Missouri. The condo was okay -- could have used a deep, end-of-season cleaning and some paint on the deck -- but its location was excellent. Right next to Silver Dollar City and a walk to the lake. read more

After talking with representatives I began considering taking offers, however wasn't financially comfortable putting $3000 down and making monthly payments for 7 years. I voiced concerns to salesmen and he simply said "then don't do it, it's not for everyone." I appreciated this, however, the same guy kept coming back n dropping prices and vacation packages. Received a free vacation (minus taxes & gov't fees) just for attending the conference on Sundance Vacations. Unfortunately we already own a timeshare that we use every year, so this wasn't really the best option for us at this time. My husband only gets a few weeks vacation a year and uses his other vacation time for hunting. Perhaps once he retires, this may be a viable option for us. The salespersons were very friendly and accommodating, and, despite the fact that we didn't buy, we still got our free vacation! read more

Scam Scam Scam --- we are posting this to save good people from the heartache we went through. see details below. We were told to listen to a presentation for a "free trip with 4 RT airline tickets to vegas or orlando, 3 nights in a resort, and 4 venue tickets " after a 3 hour presentation of hard sales we said no and were offered our free trip HOWEVER you must pay $240 plus $10 in processing to activate the ticket. We paid the $250 and went to book the tickets but were told we needed to wait until 45 days before the date we leave to book. So we had to hold all planning for our big family trip until 45 days prior. When we called 45 days early they said it would be an additional $594 in taxes. So a total of $844 for our "free tickets" after 3 hours of hard sales. We checked buying flights outright, 4 RT trips would be $115 a piece so a total of $460. The "resort" was a cheap hotel we can book for $50 a night so $150 total. And we have no idea what we would run into with the "free tickets" because we refused to pay the additional $594 even if we lose our $250 investment. So we would pay $844 through Sundance for what would cost us $610 outright. Even if the 4 venue tickets would work ( which I doubt since what you can book is undisclosed ) for $50 a piece we still would be paying more than booking outright. ( $844 vs $810 ) And remember we had to drive to sundance and listen to 3 hours of pressure sales. Now we are scrambling to rebook all flights and hotels and stuff for our vacation which starts in 45 days. We called the customer service multiple times for a looooong time and they can not/ will not help or change anything. Heartache heartache heartache. I cant believe that a company would do this to kind people who only want to go on vacation with their families. read more

I've been a member of Sundance Vacations for about two years. I did not use the plan because of the requirement to book the seven days and all of my trips were not seven days in length. Earlier this year, they reached out to me to participate in the VIP program and to listen to why I was not utilizing my weeks. This year, I used the plan to go to Disney. Best decision I ever made and now that I have the ability to use properties for long weekends, I am using them more often. The customer service was great and the property was gated with access to a pool, tennis etc. My family had a great time and I'm looking forward to my next trip. read more
