Be aware: Routine False Fuel surcharge. On repeated vehicle drop offs, especially on weekends when one cannot speak to a person, they charge for additional fuel even when the car is returned full. This is a regular practice at this site and I avoid renting from them. read more

This Enterprise location blamed me for damage to the vehicle (stow-n-go clips in a minivan). They are now sending debt collectors after me. Do NOT use this location. They will try to scam you. They rushed me in and out during the pickup and drop offs. This didn't allow me to properly inspect the interior. They filed a claim against me through my insurance carrier. They strategically got a quote JUST below my deductible. My insurance told them they cannot prove it was me and denied the claim. I will never use Enterprise again (this location or not). And I learned my lesson to not let them rush you during the pickup and drop off. Document everything, take pictures and videos. read more

These days car rentals are a hit or miss proposition. Some days you fly through the line right into your late model chariot where everything works and you're not inhaling the second hand carton of Marlboro menthols courtesy of the nervous surgeon who did a few donuts in the hospital parking lot last month. Today was a good day. Transaction done in fifteen minutes and I'm on my way in a Nissan from this decade. Tomorrow, it may be an '07 Kia. There's always something to look forward to. I needed a rental car while mine was in this shop, and I had a really good experience here! I rented the car online, and when I went to pick it up, the staff were efficient and professional. It took maybe ten minutes, tops, from the time I arrived and the time I drove away in the car (and that included time spent helping another customer in front of me). They didn't try to harangue me to get their insurance or any of their extras, as so often happens with car rentals (let's face it, especially when you're a woman traveling alone). Then I needed to extend the rental a couple of times, which was super quick and easy to do online. When I was done, the drop off process was painless (maybe five minutes??) and the woman who took care of me was efficient and pleasant. They're also conveniently located right next to the Princeton campus. Would recommend! read more

Shocking that this place stays open. 1. Attempted to rent a car and use their signature "choose enterprise and we'll pick you up"... no one available to pick up. 2. Car #1 smelled like cigarettes covered up by a bad air freshener. Car #2, also cigarette smell. Car #3 smelled like someone who needs a bath. Do yourself a favor and stick with Uber/Lift or another rental place. read more

Got rental through weekend. Returned car after hours, got a call next after damage on an odd spot above car. Pretty sure nothing happened during rental period. Took a look at damage, and either it was missed on initial check or occurred after return So, Don't trust staff when checking for damage and take pictures. Avoid this location if at all possible! read more

I could not give a worse review of anywhere ever. I have never left a review except for this place bc it's so freaking terrible. I had the worlds worst customer experience with them on 3 occasions and they tried to rip me off and charge me 500$. They are horrible. I would literally never rent a car here. Ever. read more

A fine exemplar of American deceptive pricing and bad customer service: They will give you a contract until Saturday or Sunday evening, but charge you until Monday because they are closed on the weekend and "a note on the key drop says that you are responsible for your car until it's inspected on the next business day". So, a note on the key drop is stronger than the contract they give you! Their customer service was the meaningless "this is the policy at this location", and a dismissive refusal to listen to my very reasonable objections. Add to this that they didn't know to tell me how much they would charge for a cashless toll I crossed (another customer told me it was $10 "service charge" on top of the toll!), and you get the perfect candidate for the lowest possible rating. read more

I've rented from this location 9 times over the past year and will keep coming back. On every occasion it's been a very smooth experience (usually dealing with Andy, he's great), and they have never overcharged me for anything. read more

I found the customer service at this location to be excellent. I've actually noticed that Enterprise seems to hire young, enthusiastic, problem solving, customer-centric staff at their non-airport locations. When I wanted to pick up a car today & told the young man helping me that my husband needed to go all the way to Newark airport to drop off another Enterprise car, he arranged it so that we didn't have to go to the airport & we were able to keep the same car even though we had picked it up from Boston Logan airport. That was originally not what my husband was told was doable when he rented on the phone. We will continue to rent from Enterprise! read more

Useless. Reserved a Camry-type vehicle and was presented with options for either a minivan or a pickup truck. I declined. We've had some issues with this location when renting for business (my reservation was recreational). Don't expect them to live up to the generally decent Enterprise/National locations elsewhere. These days customer service seems to be a lost art, where as simply as getting someone to help is a task within itself. Too many times we hear the bad side of poor customer service, but we would like to thank customer representatives Andy and Lauren from Enterprise, Princeton NJ, for their outstanding support. Recently, we were there looking for an upper end rental for our trip to Florida to honor our son in his commissioning to US Navy officer. Unfortunately, due to the unseen issues with Ukraine and Russia, all military personal attending our son's ceremony had to report back to the ships and get underway. So, the long-planned ceremony was canceled. As disappointed as we were, we needed to return the rental as soon as possible but because of the snowstorm we were not able to return the car right away. Andy and Lauren were very understanding, and they made this as easy as possible for us. Not only were they fair about the price, but they also reimbursed us for the full tank of gas that we put in for our trip. They were extremely polite, courteous and patient. We'd definitely recommend Princeton Enterprise, and we'll gladly use them again for our future rentals. read more

Hands down bait and switch... not a single Kia or car on lot with hatchback. Purposefully rented here for that vehicle. Bait and switch. Was held hostage by extremely argumentative customer sales rep who refused to continue with my rental of the alternative sedan because I stated I was dissatisfied with that option. I called this morning to make a reservation, and was told if I offered my Geico number I'd receive a discount on my car. The representative had trouble accessing the system discount, and told me to call back with the policy number (she told me she'd hold the reservation, but hung up without getting my information). I called back and was told that I could no longer receive a discount, I then booked the reservation anyways. After receiving a reservation confirmation, I was called as I was on the way and told that my reservation had been cancelled. I was relying on this reservation to get to the airport, so it has left me in a predicament. I don't know if the policy is to rent out reservations without actually having availability, but it's very stressful and upsetting to have something settled only to have it yanked away for something that is not in your control. I had locked in a good rate, and my price to find a late replacement was significantly more. Thank you for that Enterprise. read more
