They even picked me up at the body shop when I was leaving my car and when the car was done I dropped the rental off and they drove me back to the body shop to get my car. Avoid the Rio Grande ,NJ location at all costs. Go anywhere else. If you're desperate, take a full video of every inch of the car. They rent beater cars and will keep your deposit. Not a single manager has contacted me and Alyssa hasn't followed up with me to resolve this. Enterprise was sued by consumer affairs last year for this scam and had to pay $50k in fines. When I was visiting Ocean View, NJ recently our Honda CRV antifreeze sprung a leak. I had to immediately bring our Honda to a local mechanic for repair. Three parts were leaking and needed to be replaced. The mechanic called Honda to order the three parts. The mechanic recommended I should rent a replacement SUV for a week, since it is likely to take a week to receive the parts from Honda and complete the repair. A friend drove me down to the nearest Enterprise to rent a GMC Terrain AWD SUV for a week. Enterprise is now part of National Car rental. It seems my National Car rental membership expired post COVID. It could be the result of my move from a New Jersey drivers license to a Delaware drivers license, which I did not update National. I did update my Avis President's Club profile with my Delaware drivers license, but not my National membership. The nearest Avis location was in Atlantic City, which is further away than the Enterprise location. Enterprise charges an additional $400 fee, which is reimbursed when you return their rental. I opted out of their insurance, since I used my credit card with auto insurance coverage in addition to my own Liberty Mutual Insurance coverage. Actually nothing was charged to my credit card until I returned the vehicle a week later. The GMC SUV vehicle did not include E-ZPass, therefore, I transferred my E-ZPass transponder from my Honda to my rental. I had to return the vehicle to the same location, which I did a week later. During the week I noticed the registration had recently expired. Enterprise said that the expired registration was not a problem. My total rental cost was $522. I asked Enterprise if they could drive me back to my mechanic, which was located 17.3 miles away. Enterprise said they could not drive me back, because the location was beyond their range to drive me back to my mechanic. I had to book an Uber to drive me back to my mechanic, which cost me an additional $45 including gratuity. I was satisfied with my rental except I was disappointed that they could not drive me back to my mechanic. Overall I was happy with my rental. I will likely continue to rent from Avis or National. read more

So my boyfriend who lives with me in NCM wanted to rent a car this morning. Spoke to a woman who took his reservation and called back in an hour to say if he didn't have utility bill in his name he couldn't rent a car. He explained that we live together and all utilities are in my name. She said he could not rent a car so I asked if I could and she said he couldn't drive unless he had a utility bill in his name. This place is a scam! My insurance recommended enterprise and I had previously had good experiences with them but this place couldn't help me at all saying they don't have a single car in any size for 5 days! So I take the next available booking I could. Not believing there story I check the App / website and sure enough it says they have several options available. So I just book through the app and even get a confirmation number. In less than 10 min I get a call back that they saw my booking and they are canceling it because they already talked to me and said they have no cars. They claim the confirmation number and website don't mean anything and they won't let me get a car for nearly a week now! So here I sit shopping other options I guess because this place doesn't like dealing with insurance companies of something. So unprofessional. Enterprise should drop a location like this that doesn't honor reservations made through their own site. Do not do business here! read more

If I could give no stars at this point I would. We rented this past weekend for Friday and Saturday. Returning vehicle on Sunday morning promptly. When my husband noticed the charge for Sunday he called to have it fixed because we didn't rent the vehicle for Sunday. They argued but eventually took back Sunday's charge. Fine. Two days later we are receiving an email that there is damages to the car and that our insurance needs to pay for damages. (Why wouldn't they have mentioned this ??? According to them the fog lights are falling out if the front end. . This is not how we left or drove a car for 2 days trust me. The car was pristine when returned. But now we are being held liable for damages to the car because no one was there when we dropped the car off. DO NOT RENT CARS HERE. one would hope that if their car was damaged in there own lot they could check the cameras, not automatically assume that we did it. Because that is false !!!! The employees at this Enterprise location were very professional. I appreciated their good manors and efficiency. However, I was disappointed that the rental car was quickly run through the car wash and air dried which resulted in the exterior being spotted. I needed to clean the side mirrors and headlights. The car was vacuumed inside, but not under the front seats, where I found dirt and trash. Most of all, I had a difficult time dealing with the odor inside of the car, it smelled like someone had smoked in the car and Enterprise sprayed to try to cover the smokiness. My previous experience with a car rental from this Enterprise was much better. read more

Great experience. We brought our boat to Utsch's Marina in Cape May, New Jersey. Enterprise picked me up at the Marina and brought me to their offices in Rio Grande (only a few miles away). The car was clean and the employees very helpful. An added bonus was that I was able to leave the keys in the Marina Office just prior to our early departure. read more

We rented cars from this location numerous times and they are courteous and reasonable. Our biggest complaint is their pick up service, They are never on time. Today, they claimed to not know there was a pick up needed. Then they showed up 45 minutes after the time they quoted. I missed my business meetings and being self employed that directly affected my bottom line. This location is not reliable for pick up read more
