Very disappointed with Enterprise car rental of Oneonta!!! We had a severe accident 2 days ago and trying to get a rental car!!! Have no way of going there to Get the car!!! We are 69 and 71 and 1 of us has Parkinson's and the other has major spinal issues which now have been made worse!!! They absolutely refused to deliver the car!!! I had a very good experience with them 2 years ago, they delivered our car, took us to the damaged car , they couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating!!! Don't use these people they are cold and don't care about your situation!!! read more

Awful!!!! Key fell out of pocket and flushed down toilet. I was 3.5 hours from home. Roadside kept telling me the Jersey turnpike was restricted and couldn't send a tow and they would release another vehicle to me until the one was towed/ I was stranded for more than theee hours and it wasn't until I threatened to abandone the vehicle and go to hertz that they magically came through with number to turnpike authority who I HAD TO CALL. They sent a tow without 30 mins. I was told by enterprise that I would have a Nissan waiting at 617 auburn rental location. When I arrived with the towed vehicle that office had no idea what o was talking about. Unbelievable and I will never rent enterprise again. They only care about the car not the fact that I was stranded!!! read more

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Enterprise sent a driver to pick me up when my car broke down late in the day. I had set up the rental on line for a mid size car. when I arrived they didn't have one available , so put me in a nice SUV for a slightly higher price. I had several delays in the repair and they worked with me to keep the vehicle until my repair was done at the discounted rate. Dan, Alex, and Dean were a pleasure to deal with. I have rented before at this location and once for several weeks. They are a group of nice, personable and respectful young men. What a pleasure to deal with nice people. Used location in deer park, ny on grand blvd... had geico claim # and was not to be charge because geico customer n geico took 100% responsibility when he rear-ended me in my work van. So, upon renting the car, Nick asked for a cc to put a deposit for damage if i bring it back damaged... then, when i returned car in pristine condition, and a full tank of gas, another employee checked it in and wasn't aware it was an insurance claim. He said I owed $9 more than the $300 deposit... nick came up from behind n told him it was ok, n i just needed my $300 back on my card... a week later, nothing was returned on my card. I am putting in a claim with my bank and a complaint with bbb. Last time I rented from enterprise, they tried to charge me $350 more for added insurance that I didn't need... they are rip-off artists.... I will prevail!!! read more

My car had gotten into an accident and when I initially went here I had terrible customer service from someone that normally doesn't work at this location. But Maria (who does work there) was able to completely turn around my experience and I provided great service. Honestly I would've given my experience one star but Maria was so helpful. We have been renting from this location for over 10 years. We have always been pleased with the customer service from making a reservation to picking up the vehicle. They have always been very helpful and have always done their best make sure we had a good experience. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because our last 2 rentals this month the interior of the vehicle was dirty. One vehicle had dog hair on the seats and white chalky paint or substance. I did tell Luke ( manager) and he apologized as he had just received the truck from another location. Our last rental the car smelled like cigarettes even though there are no smoking stickers, no cigarette lighter or ashtray in the vehicle. I did not smell it at first but when the car heated up it was over powering, not pleasant for someone allergic and/or a non smoker. The windshield looked like it had been wiped with sticky hands. Normally the vehicles have been detailed and smell nice when picking up. Not sure what happened with these last 2 rentals. We have another rental scheduled and hope the vehicle is clean inside and out. read more
