I've experienced nothing but quality service from this rather small branch of Enterprise. The staff here has gone out of its way, on several occasions, to help me out when I've been in need of a quick rental. Its been more appreciated than they will ever know. I've had bad experiences with other rental services in the past. Avis comes to mind. In the future, I won't be using anyone but Enterprise. read more

Unprofessional group of people that work here. I was given the wrong information, they purposely tried to stick me to a car they KNEW had problems for a 10 plus hour ride (one way) didn't follow up with a "manager" when told they were going to, when I tried to follow up they would answer the phone and not speak. Even corporate didn't do anything! A week and a day passed and I was told a regional would reach out to me. Save your time and money, go to a different company all together. I would do 0 stars if I could. I go Wednesday morning at 8:00 to pick up a rental after dropping my car off at an Auto body shop. Enterprise picks me up at the auto body shop with the car I'll be using. Intead of giving me the option of picking the car I'll be comfortable in, I was told that it was the only car they have in the lot which was a Chrysler pacifica 2022. Even though day before I was told I'll be able to pick " whatever car is on the lot. Anyways, I go to do the things needed to keep the rental for a few days, we do a walk around the car, yes, the person who was helping me said if I like I can record or take pictures. I walk with him around the car and notice the back of the car is scrapped up so I take pictures of that, as he kept talking and doing things pretty quickly Im just trying to make sure I get all the info I need so I continue to listen. We go inside finish the process the car is mine for the time being. I work down the street in little silver, it was not even a 5 minute drive to white road. Before going Into work I decide to take a full picture of the car, which was 5 minutes after getting the car. 2 days later, I get a call my car is ready. So I go to enterprise first to drop the car off. The person who gave me the car goes to check the car, and immediately pointed a dent out on the door of the back seat driver side. I was assuring them there is no way I did that , that it was like that when I got the car. I showed the picture I took which confirmed the dent is there and with the time showing it's 5 minutes after getting it, but because i didnt take a video at enterprise they said there is nothing they can do for me. Joel Aponte the supervisor ending up coming out, sees my frustration on what was going on cause I had nothing to do with it but he didn't care. He didn't care about the picture, because I didn't take a video he said " it doesn't matter, the money is still coming out of the card we have here on file". As I continue to explain myself he goes" well I did the walk around because you got here so" so not only did 500 have to come out of my pocket, they are going to pick into my insurance to fix it. It all happened quick, they didn't care to look at the cameras outside of there facility, he didn't care to hear anything, there is not proof he even did the walk, nor did he takes his own pictures of his walk before I got there to support what he was saying. He just collected the money out of my card without my consent because it was already saved on file and walked away. Whenever i tried to say anything he said " it doesn't matter the money is still coming out". So safe to say I left there very upset, and still highly frustrated. Because, I didn't take a video Im automatically the one at fault. Even though I have a picture from 5 minutes after picking up the car it didn't matter. Even though Joel Aponte claimed he did the walk before I got to enterprise, he didn't have proof himself. I really wished it was all handled better. I encourage everyone to take a video of the car if you choose to come here to rent, so that you are not an easy target and not accused of anything either. Mostly helpful on getting the car, but forgot to mention one very important detail that the Ez-pass feature is not active from cars at their location since they are not an Enterprise airport location. So....all Enterprise locations aren't the same. Good to know. I was assessed a violation/processing fee and it's not the violation fee that bothers me, it's the lack of ownership/responsibility that was taken from this location when I called in to inquire about the charge. Was offered a "sorry" from the associate answering the phone after having to call a 1-800 number to figure it all out. From a salesmanship and service angle, big FAIL by this team. Great training opportunity ahead for mgmt. to improve service. Best way to succeed is to fail quickly; Mission accomplished. Let me be clear: The folks in the Red Bank branch were nice enough and the overall experience while renting was fine. However, my overall experience following the rental was TERRIBLE, AWFUL, NO GOOD, AND VERY BAD. And in my opinion, shady and unethical. I rented a car from this Enterprise branch on August 15th, 2014 to attend a triathlon in Wildwood, NJ. While parked for the event in Wildwood, I wrongly received a parking ticket (won't go into the details, but I do have proof I was parked legally). I proceeded to officially protest the ticket with the city of Wildwood. While this was ongoing, I took a vacation with my fiance to Europe from Sept 26-Oct 12th. Following our return I opened my mail on October 13th. To my surprise, I had a letter from Enterprise dated Sept 29th saying they would charge my credit card for the fine PLUS a $15 administrative charge. Sure enough - checked my statement and the charge was there, dated Oct 13th. Now, you can imagine what happens next. The city of Wildwood says that I can no longer dispute the ticket and because it has been "paid" by Enterprise, plus that shady $15 fee (by the way, by paying this ticket Enterprise forced me to admit guilt.) My credit card will not reverse the charge because Enterprise "technically" notified me by mail while I was in Europe, though they didn't really notify me because I wasn't home to receive my mail. Of course, Enterprise didn't have the decency to send me an email or call me (a huge ordeal in the year 2014), because that would mean less revenue for them that they can skim off consumers like me. To be clear, this is not a big sum of money. It is not about the money, however. It is about the unethical practices of a rental car company and asserting my rights as a consumer. DO NOT rent a car from this Enterprise branch, or any other for that matter. They will take every opportunity to screw you over for the low, low price of $15. I, my fiance, and none of our friends will ever rent Enterprise again. And I will continue to spread this message as best I can to make sure no one else is screwed over by this unethical, awful excuse for a car rental company. read more

We have never had any issues with the Red Bank office. They have always been courteous and helpful.

My car broke down on rt36 in Middletown on Sunday morning while on the way to the beach. Unfortunately, this left us stranded an hour from home with 3 kids (and still 4 miles from the beach!). The closest Enterprise office was closed on Sunday- so we called the Red Bank location that was about 10 miles away. They were very sympathetic and helpful on the phone- they picked us up and even gave us an upgrade on the car! I want to thank them for getting us back on the road as quickly as possible:) read more

These people are scam artists. I was led to believe I was paying $900 total for 2 vehicles when they were actually $900 each. I asked very clearly if the cost was $900 total and they said yes. I signed 2 forms, which I figured were duplicate forms and got the bill for double what I was told. Never rent from this location. Scam Artists! read more

My own car is currently undergoing major service work, so for the Holidays I rented from Enterprise, to visit family in Pennsylvania over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Totally impressed with the quality of customer service, and delighted both times with the adorable little red Honda I rented. I was assured on the phone that if I reserved with a debit card and not a credit card that my card would not be charged to hold the car and I could pay any way I wish, after asking very specific questions, because my situation was unique, i reserved the car and sent my husband to pick up the rental. When he got there, he was told that they had to charge our debit card $300. I did not have $300 in my account and we told them they it wouldn't go through, sure enough, it was declined, we told them what the manager told had told me the day before and they told me I was wrong, that their manager wouldn't make that mistake. Then I explained that I disclosed our complete situation b/c I wanted to make sure that I was using the right company to meet our needs and was basically told too bad, that we couldn't reserve a car without a deposit or a credit card. That's fine, I understand policies and procedurea, but I asked those exact questions before I choose Enterprise. We would have made other arrangements if we had known that beforehand, again, that's why I called to ask before booking. I sure as heck will not use Enterprise again. There was no reason to tell me that they except debit cards to hold a rental, and that my card wouldn't be charged if that was the furthest th8ing from the truth. We had to cancel our plans that we've had for two months because it was a Sunday and no one else was open. I'm infuriated with the service I received. It was just so disrespectful. I will never use a big company for car rental again, Only small and local businesses. They actually care about their customers. read more

I rent exclusively from the Enterprise location on Newman Springs Road in Red Bank. The people are well trained, friendly and helpful. The best feature however, is that more often than not, you're in a rental car in minutes. The cars are always in good shape and the selection is more than sufficient. Their pricing is very fair and usually beats the local competition. I truly appreciate the discounts and trade-ups that they offer me, routinely without me even asking. The pick-up and drop off feature is a real plus. I recommend, with confidence, this Enterprise location when anybody asks me about renting a car read more
