When the car was new it was not on my radar so I never had a chance to own one and I only later came to appreciate them after they were not made anymore. Andy was a great guy to work with and I left with the car even though I already had my car down there, getting two cars back to Milwaukee would be a challenge to sat the least. Andy was no pressure and said take the car for a while, see if you like it and he didn't even want any license or collateral to leave for a 1/2 hour of Hwy and city driving to put the car through its paces. We don't do that in Milwaukee Wi, his trust of us with out knowing who we were are was refreshing for a dealer. I walked in and drove out with the car on impulse, now the challenge of getting this car home would be tough because there is no direct public transportation and it stops three hours away from the car so I was on my own.

They just ripped me off for mounting 4 tires on 4 bare rims. I was charged $130, which is basically…read more$130 an hour. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to mount and balance a tore on a bare steel rim. when I asked if the price was correct, the lady behind the counter said that it was and then tried to justify it by saying they had the cost of the weights and time to do the job. She went on to say that the tires were hard to balance and took a lot of weight. There was maybe 2.5 ounces total on all of the wheels. And on top of that, they didn't even balance the wheels correctly. They staggered the weights, which is something you never do. Anyone that has been trained properly knows this. This isn't the first time we have had an issue with them. i took my moms car there because it had a rough idle and the check engine light was on. The mechanic said she needed a new timing belt and quoted a crazy price. I bought a scan tool and it was only the timing belt sensor that was faulty, which costs $12 and took me 15 minutes to replace it. I knew when the mechanic claimed there was a vacuum leak because the vent tube going to the air cleaner was off, that I needed to do the work myself or find someone that knew what they were doing. Stay away from this shop, they are crooks and simple parts changers, they do not diagnose the problem(s), they just change parts until they get lucky. They get most of their business because of the "good ole boys" network that is in southeast MO.

We are a local military family stationed out of town. After visiting with family in the Bootheel…read morearea, our college aged daughter was stranded on the side of the road after her car broke down. We had her car towed to Woods. We explained that we needed her car fixed as soon as possible because she was stranded away from college and work. We called a couple of times the day it was towed (they couldn't give an estimate of when they would be able to look at the car). On the final call, they said it was the alternator, would order the part, and hoped to have her on the road the next day around noon. At 11 am we called for a status update on the car. They had ordered the wrong part but ended up buying the part locally and said the car would be done shortly. A family member dropped out daughter off at Woods, where she was presented with a bill for over $600. This sounded high, so we did some research online and we were charged on the high end of replacement. The alternator was $417 (plus they were able to keep the $50 recycle fee), and $200 in labor. When we called the owner, he said he gave us the best deal, and,"he didn't think cost was an issue," that we just wanted to get her on the road. There are so many auto stores in the Bootheel area that I would encourage those not in our situation to do some research and hold on to your hard earned money. It is in my opinion that because our daughter is young, and we were out of state, we were taken advantage of. Lesson learned. Business taken elsewhere.

Later in the day we received a text from a "family member" of his stating he had a medical emergency, but would send the money back by Monday. Monday came and he pushed off getting the money sent back to later that week. When the end of the week came and we hadn't heard from him, we attempted to contact him and he had blocked anyone's number that tried to contact him the day he did not show for the services we paid for. We reported the incident to the police and when they contacted him, he quickly unblocked us. He stated he would get the money sent back the next week, but has yet to do so. He has blocked our numbers and social media accounts, prohibiting us from getting in contact with him.

Two hours before they arrived at the airport, Billy texted me to tell me that he couldn't do either of the pick ups. I had to scramble to find another service to pick up my clients. I paid a premium fee for the last minute reservation from someone else. Then I went back to Billy for a refund and return of the money I had paid him in advance for the trips that he canceled on me. That was the summer of 2022. He ignored my repeated calls and requests. In January 2023 he gave me back $50 Of the $700. He continues to ignore me and my requests for payment. He basically stole the $700. I'm going to pursue legal action because he has not repaid the funds and continues to ignore this. Stay away from this company
