On our recent trip, we had the most amazing lady (I wish that I got her name) checking us out. She was friendly, FUNNY, and bumped us up to the next best car. There is nothing worse than getting off of a plane, being tired from traveling, and having an unpleasant rental car experience but Avis never disappoints. From the time we got to the counter, to the time that we drove off of the property, it was about 15 minutes. Yes, please! Also, it is worth noting that during their busy summer season, we were able to get a Hyundai Elantra for $280 TOTAL for the week. I'll take it! See you next year, Avis!

We declined insurance and all of the other mumbo jumbo crap the woman was trying to sell us because we are poor and are trying to get the best price we can, and she acknowledges that money is a concern. She tells us our total was somewhere around $400 which, okay that's fine. That's manageable. But we go out to our vehicle, and not only is it not the one we reserved, it's not even remotely similar. We requested a smaller car because that's what we're most comfortable driving and they give us the keys to a big honker Nissan Rogue. A mom car, pretty much. The license plates bent all to hell and we go in a say something cause we're not about to be blamed for that. She says "oh it happens all the time in the car wash." we go back out, get settled, and we check our credit app and it's $200 more than what she told us. We look at our receipt and double check everything and we can't see any other extra charge. So we call and she says "Oh that's a $200 deposit it will fall off when you return the car but we don't usually say anything unless asked." WHO DOES THAT TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPRESSED MONEY IS AN ISSUE!!!!! So we're pissed off rightly so, and we go on our way. Then the system starts having issues saying the tire pressure is low and the sensor isn't working and we're freaking out because we have a 2 hour drive to our location. Anyway we get there fine after the most stressful trip of our life, and it proceeds to get worse. on our last day there, one of the tires on the car cracks down the side and we have a flat. Thank God we were able to quickly change it over to a donut spare in the back, but we called because THEY GAVE US THIS POS. They said we'd have to pay for it to be repaired when we didn't do anything wrong. So, another stressful two our drive back with a donut spare because we had no other choice because we don't have the money for that repair right now, especially for a vehicle that is not our own. I will NEVER rent from this company again, I don't care how desperate I am. Look elsewhere because this company does not care about you and only wants money out of you.

I noticed when I backed up it continually beeped at me. Them the brakes would start locking when I backed up. I finally realized there was something wrong with the bumper and one of the sensors was messed up. When I dropped it off I informed the receptionist about the issue. They are now trying to make me pay for an issu that was there when I picked up the car. Be very aware of what you are renting

Mike is a very unstable person behind the wheel. He is most importantly, a BAD driver. He comes close to getting into accidents because he takes his eyes off the road. This is a brand new campground that has only been open a month. Work is still going on so it isn't…read morefair to judge by the dirt areas and patchy grass. The sites are extremely small with barely 6' of grass between the parking pads. One section has the corners of the parking pads touching or within inches of each other. Bathrooms are large single rooms with sink, toilet, and shower. The shower is a small fiberglass stall and could be bigger but the room is large and very nice. Community Center (store, office, pizza) was also brand new and nice. Both nights, with a night spent elsewhere in between we had a reservation with a site number specified. The first day we were a little early and the other party hadn't left yet. They put us in another comparable spot. That was nice since we were there shortly before check-in - 15 to 20 minutes early. But the second stay, we didn't come in until evening and they had put someone else in the spot we had reserved. I found this odd and wasn't very happy about it. We had selected the spot for a reason. I'm aware campgrounds have the right to do that but with dozens of empty sites why would they? The hosts were very nice people but I don't love being led to my site and someone being there while I'm getting in place. They are work campers so I'm sure they are just doing their job. Seems odd to me. Again, they were very nice, pleasant people. This is also an expensive campground. Right $72 for one night with electricity and water. No sewer but there is a dump site. It's attached to Wild Water West water park. Way over priced and kinda icky. Check out the city parks department pools instead. $6 for adults instead of $28. And much, much nicer. I don't recommend. I see this getting worse, not better.

We checked in to a very empty campground with great bathrooms and all of the amenities that we needed. The next day we went to the waterpark, which was great for the kids. We purchased our tickets at the campground. The only thing I would improve is actually opening the gate between the flamingo, Falls campground, and the waterpark so we didn't have to walk all the way around. Otherwise, it was a great day and the staff was very nice.

They are dog friendly too! They even gave us a "doggie bag" with treats and poop bags. I can confidently say my pup LOVED staying at this hotel. It was actually her first stay in a hotel, and she was in HEAVEN. Her favorite thing was the fact she could sit on the couch or bed and basically see the entire room. She was so well mannered - I think she preferred the hotel to home lol. All of the pups in the hotel were very well mannered; although we saw several doggies, we never heard any doggies - although I would never be bothered by that ;) The beds were so comfortable as well as the pillows. I slept really well! The pillows are labeled "soft" and "firm" which I had never seen before but it was awesome for my husband and myself who prefer the different pillow types. They had a nice fitness center (larger than the past couple hotels I have stayed at) as well as pool and hot tub. They were unable to have their buffet breakfast, which I heard is amazing, but had a large selection of other pre-packaged breakfast items. I will definitely look for more Staybridge hotels when I book travel. The staff's attitude and overall friendliness toward guest, hospitality toward doggie companions, nice fitness center, and room experience was above and beyond what I anticipated. This is a hard one because there are a lot of great things about this hotel but a couple negatives…read morestand out to me. Amazing stop for families! The pool is made for kids for sure as it's not deep and the indoor playground is awesome for these cold winter overnight stays. Only downside to playground is that parents were allowing their kids to go to and from the pool (life jackets and all) to playground making slides and everything wet. Kids were slipping and falling and socks pants were getting wet from slides/floor. There were no 'do not disturb' signs to put on doors so housekeeping was knocking at 8am with checkout not being until 11am. I showered at 8am and had the water cranked all the way hot to only have a lukewarm shower. Those that showered after breakfast in our group had no warm water at all. Beds were great and sheets were super soft! Breakfast was typical holiday inn hot breakfast which is one reason we love holiday inn, so A+ to that! Would probably stay here again but would want to know if the water issue in shower was taken care of first.
