After calling a handful of other taxi services in the Sioux Falls area where either no one picked up or went straight to voicemail, I thankfully found Reliable Taxi and was greeted by a pleasant man named Omar who answered after the first ring. I scheduled the taxi pick up over the phone as I live out of state. Omar quoted me a fair rate in advance. He arrived on time to pick up my mom and got her to the heart hospital right on schedule. Then he promptly called me to report that he had just dropped off my mom and watched her walk into the heart hospital through the main entrance doors. After the procedure, Omar picked up my mom from the hospital and got her safely back home. And sure enough, Omar called me with the update that he had just dropped my mom off and made sure she was safely inside her home before pulling away. I was truly touched by Omar taking the time to call me with the thoughtful updates. As the passenger, my mom said she really appreciated Omar's attentiveness and friendly calm nature as it set her mind at ease during the 45 minute drive to the heart hospital for a procedure she was extremely anxious about. Omar at Reliable Taxi far exceeded both my mom and my expectations. Omar truly went the extra mile and made a lasting impression on us. I will most definitely be calling Reliable Taxi again. Our experience at Red Barn RV Park in Tea, South Dakota, may not have gone as planned, but it…read moreshowed us exactly what kind of people Diana, Josh, and the Red Barn team are. We had made arrangements with Diana for a 30-day stay. Because of site availability, we understood that we would spend our first night in one site and then move to another site for the remainder of our stay. We were completely fine with that arrangement and appreciated Diana's efforts to accommodate us. Shortly after arriving and getting set up, we discovered we had no power in our RV. Josh, the co-manager and a certified RV technician, immediately came over to help us troubleshoot the problem. As soon as he arrived, he noticed the smell of burnt electrical wiring. We shut everything down and allowed it to cool before attempting to reconnect power. Unfortunately, our multiplex inverter began smoking, and we immediately disconnected all power again. Josh spent considerable time helping us diagnose the issue and determined that our multiplex inverter had failed. He generously shared his expertise and assistance without charging us a dime. His knowledge, professionalism, and concern for our safety were greatly appreciated. After speaking with NuCamp about our situation, we initially thought we would simply order a replacement inverter and have Josh install it. However, after further discussions with NuCamp, it was decided that the best course of action was to return to Sugarcreek, Ohio, so their technicians could investigate the cause of the failure. Although we were disappointed that our planned 30-day stay was cut short, Diana was incredibly understanding and compassionate. She spoke with the owners on our behalf and arranged a refund for the unused portion of our reservation, charging us only for the two nights we stayed. We are truly grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and extra effort Diana and Josh showed during what became a very stressful situation. They made our safety and comfort their priority from the moment the problem arose. We highly recommend Red Barn RV Park to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming, and well-managed RV park while exploring the Sioux Falls and Tea, South Dakota area. On our recent trip, we had the most amazing lady (I wish that I got her name) checking us out. She was friendly, FUNNY, and bumped us up to the next best car. There is nothing worse than getting off of a plane, being tired from traveling, and having an unpleasant rental car experience but Avis never disappoints. From the time we got to the counter, to the time that we drove off of the property, it was about 15 minutes. Yes, please! We declined insurance and all of the other mumbo jumbo crap the woman was trying to sell us because we are poor and are trying to get the best price we can, and she acknowledges that money is a concern. She tells us our total was somewhere around $400 which, okay that's fine. That's manageable. But we go out to our vehicle, and not only is it not the one we reserved, it's not even remotely similar. We requested a smaller car because that's what we're most comfortable driving and they give us the keys to a big honker Nissan Rogue. A mom car, pretty much. The license plates bent all to hell and we go in a say something cause we're not about to be blamed for that. She says "oh it happens all the time in the car wash." we go back out, get settled, and we check our credit app and it's $200 more than what she told us. We look at our receipt and double check everything and we can't see any other extra charge. So we call and she says "Oh that's a $200 deposit it will fall off when you return the car but we don't usually say anything unless asked." WHO DOES THAT TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE EXPRESSED MONEY IS AN ISSUE!!!!! So we're pissed off rightly so, and we go on our way. Then the system starts having issues saying the tire pressure is low and the sensor isn't working and we're freaking out because we have a 2 hour drive to our location. Anyway we get there fine after the most stressful trip of our life, and it proceeds to get worse. on our last day there, one of the tires on the car cracks down the side and we have a flat. Thank God we were able to quickly change it over to a donut spare in the back, but we called because THEY GAVE US THIS POS. They said we'd have to pay for it to be repaired when we didn't do anything wrong. So, another stressful two our drive back with a donut spare because we had no other choice because we don't have the money for that repair right now, especially for a vehicle that is not our own. I will NEVER rent from this company again, I don't care how desperate I am. Look elsewhere because this company does not care about you and only wants money out of you.

The price is the same as the very large places we've been, that might be why my expectations were high! The aquarium is an odd accompaniment to the butterflies and it definitely shows. It's very small with very little variety. The kiddos all loved that you could appear to be in a fish tank but there wasn't much to capture adults attention. The touch tank was all netted off so that left nothing much to do! The butterflies were nice but there didn't seem to really be that many in the house and only a few varieties. Standing in line to get in was one thing but then having to stand in line to leave felt a little claustrophobic!! The staff was not friendly, welcoming or available to interact with, most seemed a bit bored. The fake flowers and nectar seems like a great idea but unfortunately not many folks were having any luck! All in all, it's a nice little attraction to spend an hour or so!
